AFFORDABLE APPLIANCE SERVICE

We have utilized Jeff and his company several times and always are very happy with his professionalism, knowledge, response time and always being very friendly. I can text him our issue and he will know exactly what parts and if any parts are needed before he comes to our home. Our dishwasher was opening mid-cycle and as noted above he ordered the parts and completed the repair. We will not have anyone else work on our appliances. He is exceptional!

Our dryer stopped heating recently, after reading positive reviews I contacted a number of companies for rough pricing and Jeff from Affordable Appliance Service texted me back quickly with pricing for various possible issues (heating element, control board, themostat, etc) and pointed out that heating element was the most common issue. His prices were great and after a couple questions, I scheduled with him to come out within a day. He came by, checked the dryer, found the problem (heating element - coil broke) and had it fixed in short order. He even recommended a company to come clean out the vent system, and they worked well for me aswell. Overall extremely happy with the Jeff!

He was very prompt with responding to my call and was professional. He was able to come the same day and was fast with the work. The price was reasonable.

This is my second time using Affordable Appliance. Does good work and gets the job done. I called in the morning and my freezer/frig was fixed by the afternoon. Thanks for the same day service.

Diagnosed and replaced the part in about 30 minutes. I provide him with the model number before he came out so that he had the part with him. He was the only company I called that was able to respond within a day.

Called and left message on Sunday with the situaion. Received a prompt response via text asking for appliance information. I provided the information and someone named Jeff stated he could come out late Monday morning. I asked about the price of the service call and he stated $60. I replied 'OK'. I assumed I would get a call in the morning asking for directions, but by late Monday afternoon, I hadn't heard anything so I texted him asking if he was still planning on coming out. He apologized and stated that he didnt' think it was a definite appointment and asked where I lived. I gave him the address and he said that he would come out the following day at lunch time. I stated that was fine and to give me a call when he was 15 mins away so that I could leave work (as that is how long it takes me to get home and I would be on my lunch break). Needless to say, lunchtime came and went (as did the entire day) and I received no call, text or any form of communication about the appt. The provider seems to have a lot of positive reviews, which is why I am quite am surprised by the no-show/no-calls. If whatever reason you can't keep (or take) service appts, it's just courtesy to at least let the customer know beforehand. I've found another repairman thankfully, but only after having wasted two days.

EXCELLENT work. Mr. Wilson is SUPERB! Angie's List Community, Believe what the reviewers have said. He is QUICK, on time, knowledgeable, efficient, and inexpensive. He charged me less than quoted and he was very professional. He arrived by 9am and by 9:50am with the repair complete, he was out the door! Money well spent. We appreciate you Mr. Wilson!!!!

Jeff ordered the parts after I texted him the model #s of the 3 appliances. He committed to texting me 30 minutes before arrival on the day we agreed to complete the repairs. Jeff sent the text and arrived as scheduled and immediately proceeded to work. He was professional, efficient and I am completely satisfied with his work. I have no hesitation in calling Jeff again if appliance service is required. He has my recommendation.

I was told by another appliance company -twice - that I needed to replace the compressor on my refrigerator and it would cost over $1,000.00. . Jeff replaced a relay for $150.00, explained what he did and left the old part. Refrigerator works great! I highly recommend him.

What work? Could get the Merchant to respond back to us via phone call with message, or an email with contact details sent via Angie's List.

Called Jeff and he gave me all estimates of what the problem could be . Was at my house the following day and repaired my dyer and it cost just what he said it would.

Our refrigerator was making a loud noise that would last for 30 minutes, stop for several hours and start again. We thought it was the fan but Mr. Wilson quickly determined the ice maker was leaking. He had the part on his truck and quickly replaced the ice maker. Our refrigerator is quiet and making ice. I appreciate Mr. Wilson's quick response to my request for service.

He's great and he's incredibly reasonable. He's just really knows what he's doing.

We have used him twice. His cost is reasonable. Told us one of appliance was done and that it would be cheaper to just get a new one. He had to order a part and he didn't charge me for a return trip. Reasonable price. It didn't take him long at all. He is honest each and every time.

A+This was our second use of the provider in ten years. We were so impressed the first time, we put his phone number into our phone's memory system then. And when our washing machine, now 11 years old, quit working suddenly and without warning, we called him again. He showed up exactly when he said he would, texted me to let me know when he was enroute, came in and tested everything on the machine (nothing worked), and fixed it, then stayed to make sure it ran flawlessly through a complete cycle. He is always completely current on the appliance, and very thorough in checking to see where the problem(s) are. I am impressed not only by his very professional demeanor, but also his responsiveness and kind manner. And frankly, the bill for his services was more than reasonable, I expected it to be twice what it was. He is prompt, fair, smart, and talented. And he deserves an A+ rating, if only Angies List provided one.

The initial service itself went fine. The icemaker was installed, however the ice maker now makes ice in large chunks and cant dispense it through the refrigerator ice dispenser. We requested that Jeff return anytime that he was in the area. I have placed 6 phone calls since the service date requesting that he return to help with the problem. He left one voicemail that we could adjust it ourselvesby turning a screw. We attempted to do that but it didnt work. I cannot get him to return a phone call or come to fix the problem, even though we have a one-year warranty on the part.

I left a message and they never called.

Jeff determined the problem quickly - he had already looked up my dryer model and had a part with hm in case it was what he thought. had the dryer repaired in less than 1/2 hour. he was also very nice to move my washer and dryer over about 6 inches in the laundry closet. I called him one day and he came the very next morning, on time.

Even though he was on vacation, Jeff came and repaired my dryer. I called him in the morning and he came to fix it the same day. He was very professional, thorough and pleasant.

On Dec.17, 2014 I contacted Jeff in an effort to have my daughter's old (aqua) range repaired which appeared to need a new element. I provided my daughter's contact information so they could do the scheduling and I would get out of the way. He was provided part numbers as requested and said he would research it. I contacted Jeff one other time on Feb.19th and he told me he would go look at the stove the next Monday. That did not happen. On Feb. 25th I told Jeff I was moving on. I realize the age of the stove caused some difficulty, but during the 2 month period there was little effort to communicate or follow through. We were more than patient.

I found this company and called them and they were out in 20 minutes. You could have sold me a new refrigerator, but he didn't. He did some repairs and saved me a huge amount of money. They are very cost effective. Clean-up was fine. When they left, they didn't leave anything here. They're professional.

Start to finish he provided excellent service. Very professional and reasonably priced. I have already booked him to replace some parts on my dishwasher next. Thanks Angie's List for helping me find him!

I was turned down by numerous other companies who stated they wouldn't work on a Samsung product. Left Jeff a message and he was very prompt in responding, suggesting a couple of potential problems over the phone with pricing and set a time to come and take a look. His diagnosis over the phone was spot on, had the parts and had my washer up and running within a couple hours. Would recommend his company 1000% based on his knowledge, integrity and just being 'good people'.....thanks Jeff! Will absolutely use Affordable Appliance Service again for any future appliance issues.

He only corresponds via text -- I've not had a phone conversation with him despite leaving him several messages. 2/24/15 - I contacted Jeff to repair a dryer at one of my rental properties. 2/25/15 - he requested the model number, property address, and my tenant's phone number in order to schedule a mutually convenient time. I replied and asked him to let me know when the job has been scheduled and the cost of repair -- no reply from Jeff. 3/3/15 - my tenant finally received a text from him regarding availability -- she replies that Thursday works, but no further confirmation from Jeff regarding time. 3/5/15 - he finally calls her Thursday morning and says he can do it in 10 minutes, otherwise he'd have to reschedule. Although he seems to get fantastic reviews here on Angie's List, I am very disappointed in his complete lack of communication. Perhaps my job is too small or he's too busy (given all the reviews). I just left him a message to cancel that work order. As a landlord with multiple rental properties, I need a reliable and responsive vendor.

He came the first day and identified that the timer was the problem. He then came back with the part the next day. He was prompt and fair and very professional.
