Had a sales rep out to give me an estimate for a pool screen enclosure. He said it would take a few days to put the numbers together. I hadn't heard back so about a week later I called the office. The rep called two days later and said he has been very busy and gave me a price over the phone. I told him it was in line and could he send me the proposal in writing. I never heard back.

They were recommended to us to fix a screen/gutter issue. After multiple calls and leaving a message, someone finally called us back, promising a call from TJ to discuss our problem the following week. It never happened.

I contacted the company for an estimate. The representative came to my house and provided guidance on extending and screening my porch, determining which screening to go with and where to put the door. He was very helpful. I obtained HOA approval for the improvements. The company filed the application for the building permit and the Notice of Commencement. They contacted me once they received the building permit and then they came out and removed the sod and capped the sprinkler heads. A few days later they poured the concrete and a few days later screened in the porch. All in time for the Christmas Holiday! The nice thing is that most of the work was completed while I was at work. I did not have to stay home and monitor what they were doing each time they came out. I love my new porch!!

Terrible! It was promised to be dont in 6 weeks it took 3 months. Rejected twice for not following the building permitConstant leaksPromised to have a crew of three - supervisor + 2 workers -- we were lucky if one worker showed. The workers never looked at the plans.

We wanted to extend our screened pool enclosure, so we contacted a few firms for advice and quotes. We were very fortunate that US Aluminum sent along Chris Kulik as their representative. Other companies were prepared to build us a new screened enclosure but Chris wanted to build us a GREAT pool enclosure. His enthusiasm; examples of previous work and material samples convinced us of the quality of the components and the engineering. (Not all aluminum is equal in quality and strength.)
US Aluminum's quote was actually the highest but their concept was the best. We figured that a few hundred extra dollars would be well spent on the US Aluminum product.
The finished product exceeded the concept: surpassing our expectations and making us realize that Chris Kulik's enthusiastic descriptions of possibilities had been understatements. We did, indeed get GREAT.
Now, we can sit and enjoy our new screened porch: while admiring the graceful curve of the roof. It really does look better than the previous porch and the construction is sound.
Our conclusion: the few extra hundred dollars were, indeed, well spent. We know someone who recently had a screened porch erected from scratch. It looks fine but we can easily see the superiority of our US Aluminum product.

I had the salesman come by to do an estimate for a small screen enclosure to replace our old onein the back yard. He was a really nice guy and even honored our old estimate that I had him do3 years prior. We were never able to get it started due to my wife's cancer. That was back in mid-May we had our new contract signed. This is the end of July and we still have no porch. I had torn down most of the old porch and the plan was they would secure the permits, and come out to tear down the old porch. After over a month I never heard from anyone so after calling, leaving messages, and finally not getting a response from the office I called the salesman who said he would make a few calls and get back to me. Not long after that I got a call from the office and scheduled the demo. I took the day off for the demo and prepared the back yard. The day of I sat and waited around... no show no call. I called the office and spoke to the project manager and she said that one of their crew's wife went into labor and he was out with her at the hospital. Okay, can't do much about that if they don't have any resplacements for such an established business. But they could have at least called me instead of just left me hanging. So the demo was reset for another day which they did arrive and remove the old porch. Back to waiting around to hear something. A few weeks later a rep called and said they were still working on permits then would call to set up install. Weeks went by and got a call from the project manager who stated they could come out to install Thurs or Fri. I said Friday because I'll take it off for the weekend. She informed me if it rained Friday they will do it Monday. Okay.I spent a few days of the week working on prep I installed new face boards on the porch so it would be ready by Friday. I planned a get together of my wife's coleagues for Saturday for our first get together since her being out of work, (Major Law firm in Orlando). Friday morning I get up early, move the furniture off the porch slab, mow and clean up the back yard, then sit around twiddling my thumbs. After 10am I called the office twice to speak to someone with an answer who said we're sorry Mr. xxx we don't show your job listed for today. What, please don't say that!! She says she remembers seeing it but maybe they did some shuffling around because of the rain yesterday. I asked to have someone call me that is responsible for this no-call No-show again. Robert called me and apologized for the mix up and said it would be addressed, but still wont be able to come out until August 4th!! Oh my god, after everything I've got through in preparation for the weekend festiviteis, aside from the fact that I have a tremendous daily 'to do' list due to taking care of a permantly disabled wife due to the malignant brain tumor, and they say.. sorry. No call, no show, screwed me royally in regard to major plans made, expenses, time off, etc.. Ugh I wanted to scream. We'll see what Aug 4th brings and will update. If they actually install I'll report back on quality. No call No Show, it don't get much worse than that.
Okay it's Aug. 5th and the porch is done. The friday before someone from US Aluminum showed up at our front door unannounced. (no call). My sick wife was home alone and looking at our security cameras saw someone she didn't know at the front door, in shorts and a t-shirt no markings, so she didn't answer it. With no answer this person proceeded to the side of the house and began tugging on the wood gate trying to get in. Having had a burglary attempt to our home a month prior, she was terrified. She banged on the window and yelled at him to get away from there. He darted back to his truck in the street and sped away at a high speed. She called police and they began an area check. Meanwhile, after some thought, I called US Aluminum and asked them to check to see if someone had come by our house. Sure enough they called me back and yes someone had come by to get other measurements. Nobody called to give us a heads up. All this could have been avoided with a phone call.
Porch is done. The crew that came out were terrific guys. They worked very hard all day, eleven hours, and it was screaming hot outside. The new screened enclosure looks wonderful, excellent quality, I couldn't be happier with the final product.
Obviously the only issue with this company is they need to address their failure to keep their client updated. The lack of which caused us great grief. Otherwise, they would have five stars from us.

The project went great. They started a bit late in the day, but that made it more difficult on them because it got brutally hot. It did not impact the overall job. The arrived on the day they said they would and actually finished ahead of time. They were terrific. In addition, about 8 months later we found a tear in the screen, they came out and repaired it the next day. I think they were a terrific value, and my screen room and pavers look terrific.

They came out when promised and did the job as agreed. This was a small job, compared to what they do generally, but they came out and bid it as if this was a large job. I had called several other screen people and they would not come out for this job. I estimated that it was a $500 or so job. It was a two story tricky job which discouraged most bidders. U. S. Aluminum was very accommodating and pleasant to deal with and will use them in the future.

Excellent. They brought a sample of all the options to choose from to see, feel and look through (this really made a difference). The salesman was great. He was knowledgeable and did not try for a hard sell. Brought proof of insurance in other words he brought everything that I had any possible questions about. I also had a follow-up call on if the job was done satisfactorily. It was excellent.

The salesman who came to my home to give an estimate told me that I would not be able to add the screen room to my lanai due to zoning requirements. He seemed to know what he was talking about, even phoning someone at the County to confirm. However, he had misinterpreted the setback rules. His estimate was about average for the work, but I would not have hired the company due to their representative's error.

The General Manager took time to explain his product in full, all options availible in screening and the difference between a good screen enclosure and a cheaply constructed product.

Everything was extremely smooth! Anytime we had questions or concerns the customer service rep Ed was just a phone call away! We could not have asked for a better company to work with.
