"1-We installed your equipment in 2016, which was completed and passed all inspections and working perfectly, as shown in the photos sent. 2-In September 2017 one of the panels was blown off with the force of the IRMA hurricane, we reinstalled it, nothing else was damaged and the System continues to operate normally. 4- On 04/01/2019 we detected through our MONITORING SYSTEM, that an optimizer was not working, we went to your home and did the tests together with Technical Support from SolarEdge which confirmed the need for CASE replacement # 1264037. On 01/23/2019 We received the optimizer and replaced it, CASE # 1264037 Closed. 5- On 05/14/2020 we detected another optimizer that was not working, we did the tests with SolarEdge's Technical Support and received the guidance to replace the optimizer, Case # 1845249. On 05/26/20 We received the optimizer and made the switch, Case # 1845249 closed. 6- 3- On 05/29/2019 We were called to check the System, which was not working, we called the technical department of solar edge, which instructed us to do a reset of the INVERTER, after the reset the Inverter will work again normal. 7-On 07-21 / 2020 SolarEdge sent the optimizer to be exchanged Case # 1939344 closed. 7- On 09/28/2020 The Inverter stopped working a new Case # 2042366 was opened with SolarEdge. On 10/04/2020 Solar edge informed us that it sent a new Inverter. On 10/19/2020 The inverter was replaced CASE # 2042366 closed. 8- On 11/23/2020 another optimizer to be replaced, CASE # 21272778 The explanation we have it's very simple Ms. StarKweather, WE ARE NOT A MANUFACTURER OF THESE PRODUCTS, we are INSTALLERS. All electrical, electronic, or mechanical equipment is subject to failure, this is a natural cause, which can occur due to multiple factors. ALL OPTMIZERS AND INVERTERS THAT HAVE BEEN SENT TO REPLACE THOSE WHO HAVE DEFECTIVES HAVE NOT BEEN CHARGED BY THE MANUFACTURER (SOLAR EDGE). Sunlight only charged Labor, (BECAUSE WE DO NOT WORK FOR FREE). As for the? Inspection done by a Technician at SolarEdge at his request, he was very unfortunate, in his comments. We saw that some attachments came loose, and others were broken. We do not know the real cause that led to this, but we are sure that since the installation where (WE PASSED IN THE ELECTRICAL AND STRUCTURAL INSPECTION, NOTHING WAS FOUND BY THE INSPECTORS THAT COMMITTED THE EQUIPMENT. During this period, the System went through many storms and even Hurricane (IRMA), where a panel came loose and was reinstalled and no damage was found to the integrity of the roof or panels. As for the conduit that you said there is no thread, it is another big mistake on the interpretation of the SolarEdge technician. If there was no wire in this conduit mentioned and shown in the photo, YOUR INVERTER WOULD NOT WORK, BECAUSE THIS CONDUIT TAKES ENERGY FROM YOUR HOME'S BREAKER TO THE INVERTER. IF THERE WERE NO WIRES IN THIS CONDUIT THE INVERTER WOULD NOT BE WORKING, (I UNDERSTAND). ANOTHER NOTE, ALL OPTMIZERS ARE TESTED BEFORE BEING CHANGED AND WITH A SERIAL # THAT IDENTIFIES EACH OF THEM. THEREFORE, THERE WERE NO OPTIMIZERS CHANGED INCORRECTLY. As for the rest of your comment about our company, it cannot be taken seriously. Thank you, Sunlight Solar Team."
