Rainaldi Plumbing

Our kitchen faucet started to leak and needed a replacement job. Called few companies, Rainaldi Plumbing was the one with lowest flate rate and they were able to response immediately. They also took a $20 Angieslist discount. The cost was USD 210, still very pricey to replace a faucet. The technician was very polite, competent, and punctual. He also gives tips on how to use the faucet and get free replacement from the manufacturer. Recommended. I give it an overall B because of the price.

There was water in the bottom of my dishwasher that would not drain and my garbage disposal would not run.  The plumber examined the garbage disposal and determined it was leaking so it had to be replaced.  He replaced it and tested it and then test ran the dishwasher.  Everything worked well.  I then asked him to check the bathtub drain.  It was running slow so he snaked it and then it was fine.

Gil Martinez was very professional and informative from the very beginning. He was punctual, knowledgable, listened to what I needed done and explained the options available. The work was completed on time and to specifications and the mess was cleaned up adequately. Great job! I would definitely hire Rainaldi and Gil again.

They are very competent but very expensive. They were very professional and very skilled. They were nice, polite and friendly the only negative was the price. I really liked the work they did.

Everything is working great again.

He really did a good job. H came out and fixed the plumbing problem I had. The man did not have one small part and he had to make an extra part with no extra charge. I was very pleased with that. He had to tear out the ceiling and do several things and also upstairs bathroom that ran to our kitchen ceiling downstairs. He tore out the ceiling and repaired the leak. He was very careful about the mess that he made. Overall I was very happy with his work. I was unhappy with the tearing of the ceiling of course but they couldn’t be out. I would recommend him to anyone. He was very professional, very knowledgeable. He walked in looked at the problem and said that he knew what the problem is. He checked it out and said what it was. He was an older gentleman and seemed to be very knowledgeable. He was very careful about the mess that he made and I had no complaints whatsoever about him.

I called Rainaldi Plumbing and they came out the same day. After about 30 to 45 minutes of analyzing, it was determined that it was a septic issue and not sewer.
They were not able to help me but referred me to someone who they knew could handle the problem.

I picked them cause they were close by and no travel charge, allegedly, Charged $150 for one drain and finished in 2 minutes. Additional drains would be $90 each. Their actual hourly rate cued have been $600/ hour. Big mistake! I will never call again and warn everyone I can.

I like the fact that they are prompt.  They come when they say they will.  If they are going to be late, they keep me informed.  I would definitely use them again in the future.

They were very honest about it.  They could have charged me for it but it was a simple process that I could do on my own.  It was a satisfactory experience and I was glad that they were honest.

We had gotten an estimate from them and then ultimately decided to have them do the work. We had gotten four estimates and they actually ended up being the lowest price. The highest bid we got was almost $6,000 for the same job. They did a really good job. We had never had that done before. They were very nice people and they were very prompt. They didn't goof around or drag their feet. The one thing that seemed a little odd even though everything was included in the replumb, we had to have an inspector come out to inspect the work. After the inspector signed off, they came back to patch the holes and redo the texture. We assumed they would be there when the inspector got there and they would take care of scheduling the drywall work. They actually gave us a number and said the inspector would be out on a certain day and we needed to call that number to find out so somebody could be home. The drywall repair folks actually contacted us directly to schedule. It felt a little odd that we had to be the go-between in that. The work was great and the drywall people were wonderful. We are actually having them come back and do some other work for us. It actually worked out quite well. They were very pleasant and prompt. We even talked to the owner when we had one small problem and he sent somebody out right away to work on it. We did have to deal with some little things afterwards. We would use them again.

 They were responsive. When he got there, he gave an estimate.  I said that sounded expensive (can' t remember the exact amount -- think it was $325), that there was not much to do ( I figured half an hour).  He proceeded to list out a number of tasks that sounded extensive so I reluctantly agreed and went back in the house.15 minutes later he came back, said he was done.  Complained about the price for the effort, so he suggested I call the office while he was there.  Called office and talked through it -- that as a CPA I understood costs, traveling time overhead, need to make a profit, etc but for the services was excessive.  They finally dropped to $175 which I paid.  Suggested to them I'd have been happy with $125 but they refused to make me happy.The tech was professional about it all.

My big beef was exorbitant starting price for 15 minutes of work -- even if he did have to travel - and particularly after I questioned the amount of time, effort and materials it'd tae.  BTW, he sat in my street for another 30 minutes after he finished.  Must not 've been a busy day at Rainaldi. but figure I didn't need to pay for his being idle.

I called Rainaldi Plumbing panicking that everything in my house was backing up. Rainaldi came out right away. Fred saw that we had a cleanout and took care of the situation. Fred was very professional. I will call Rainaldi Plumbing for all my plumbing needs.

Both the plumbing crew and the crew Rainaldi's use for fixing all the holes were very professional. The plumbers lost some time upfront searching for the main line into the house (which I appreciated because it saved me $500 if they couldn't have found it and would have had to run a new line into the house from the street). Of course any type of construction is messy, but the guys cleaned up well (remember they are not merry maids) afterwards. I had 4 quotes for the work. They weren't the cheapest of the quotes , but I'm a true believer in you get what you pay for in the end. Also you need to make sure you are comparing apples to apples. Some contractors didn't quote fixing the holes after the repipe (which I would recommend you pay for instead of doing yourself) and others didn't mention anything about permits from the City (run away if they are adverse to getting permits). The crew ran into some problems running some of the piping (because of the construction not because they couldn't do it) so it took longer than they estimated, but what they quoted me is what I paid (no surprises).

Rainaldi Plumbing was able to repair the leak but was not able to replace the faucet. They could not do it with the parts the manufacturer sent to me. They were going to come back out after I got new parts but I had already spent $500 with them and decided not to call them back.

The service man arrived punctually, diagnosed the problem, and made the correction quickly.

The plumbers were very professional and did a very thorough, neat job. It was a complicated repair but the shower should last for a much longer time now.

I would use them again.

It took them tree hours to come out, with no phone communication saying how soon they would come until two hours had past (in spite of two phone calls to their main number to ask for an ETA. When the plumber finally did arrive, he was nice, but spoke on his cell phone the entire time he was working, taking more time than I thought was necessary, charged me a whole lot of money, and left an incomplete job. He said the office would call on Monday to send someone out to finish the job, but they never did. He also charged a lot more than I think the job was worth, though I didn't have any basis for comparison.

They responded to my call immediately, got here when they told me they would, and finished the work promptly. Three professionally dressed men, who communicated with each other well, came and did good work.

They were late to begin with. They started the work and were using fowl language. I finally got fed up with them at 10:00 pm and threw them out of my house. It took 2 weeks for another crew to finish the job. They were very unprofessional.

Our water heater sprung a leak and we shut off the water and called the company late Friday evening. We were told they would send someone in the morning by 8 AM. When no one showed up we called again and were told he was late coming from another job. By 9:30 AM he showed up. He said he couldn't do anything until Monday and he just recommended we dry out the area. On Monday they showed up but they couldn't figure out how to turn off the electricity to the heater since it was on an energy management program and the power company had it hooked up to bypass the breaker panel. I told them to shut off the power to the house from outside. They couldn't figure that out so they told me to contact the power company to find out how. That evening I did it myself. When they came back they replaced the water heater and left. But when we tried it out a few hours later it wasn't heating. So I called them back out and they sent a more experienced person to fix it, which he did.
