Bill arrived and got right to work. He and two other men worked steadily and removed an ugly wild palm and cleaned up perfectly. They did such a great job that I will be using them for landscaping too. Thanks!

Two guys came on time and they were professional enough.  We had agreed on the phone when making the appointment that we would pay an additional 130. to have the branches and clippings taken away (which we felt was high priced but didn't feel we had much of a choice).  Apparently, there was a clause on the groupon that said branches over 3" in diameter would be additional as well as branches above 15 feet.  So that was another 100 dollars.  He used our ladder to reach them.   The two guys were here a little over an hour.  We didn't feel that this was a "Big Deal".  It was not worth the price.

Bill is a nice guy and very easy to deal with, communicates often. His crew cleaned up both my back and front yards. Everything was done to my satisfaction and the place looks great. I was so happy with the service that I hired him for my monthly maintenance.

They only did 30 minutes of work and they left.

Bill and his helper arrived at 8am on a Saturday and got to work quickly. All the landscaped areas were completely overtaken with weeds. They cleared all of it. Two old palms were removed and 3 new ones were planted in their place. A section destined to be our vegetable garden was leveled and weed mat and rock were installed so that containers could be set down. All remaining plants were trimmed and everything was cleaned up. They worked a solid day - until 5:30. I'm very pleased with the work that was done.

Our yard had become so overgrown, all we needed to complete

the jungle was the wildlife. I found excellent reviews for Bill and decided to

give him a try. He answered his phone right away ? which surprised me because

it was after 6PM on a Thursday.



After telling him the condition of the yard, he said he would

be out the next morning to size it up. After hearing what we wanted done in the

cleaning of the yard, he gave us a fair price with the promise to start work on

Saturday afternoon.



We were gone in the morning and when we arrived saw Bill and

his team hard at work. They had only been there for few hours and it already looked

better! They worked until 6PM ? through the hottest part of the day. Bill

promised to be back out the next morning ? which was a Sunday!



Sure enough, Bill and his team arrived and worked rather

quietly until the job was finished around 1PM. They had hauled away all the

debris and gave the yard a good spraying of weed killer. It looked fantastic! I

had almost forgotten that the yard was graveled due to all the weeds and

overgrowth that had sprouted up.



If you are wondering if you should give Bill a call ? the answer

is ?Yes?. I recommend him whole heartedly.

The were right on time and did an excellent and efficient job.  They had all the needed equipment and made short work of it. I would certainly use them again and recommend them to my friends and neighbors.

Great job. They started early and finished ahead of schedule. They completed everything that was discussed and included in the estimate. Friendly and professional.

They have all the tools they need and went 20ft up the tree to remove branches. They also removed branches from the neighbor’s yard after the trimming. The work was fine and looks nice.

This company quickly returned my phone call, however they do not provide lawn maintenance in our neighborhood.  Too bad we live outside their service area, I had read their reviews and was hoping they could take care of our lawn.  The phone conversation was handled in a professional manner.  If they ever expand their services to our area, I will be very interested in doing business with them.

NCG Landscape personnel were prompt and professional.  I was so impressed with their service that I used them for a subsequent landscape job.

Bill and his crew where early calling in advance notify me. I advised him he would arrived at the property before I did giving him some of the to do items on my list. His crew where working upon my arrival & a few of the items where already completed.
Immediately, Bill stopped what he was doing and we went over my list of items to be taken care of.  In so doing he told me we needed to move fast if I wanted him to get everything done in the aloted time I had hired him. I knew that was a true statement as my work ordered included, major triming of (6) mid to large trees, extenstive trimming of exhisting shrubs, and cleaning out large overgrown flower beds, and cleaning the gutters over a screen in porch. 
Bill and his crew, moved efficiently, working together as a team and proceeded to tackle every item on my list.  Bill approached me approximately 25 minutes before the schedule end time and asked me to priorities the few outstanding items. I did and again they began a new assault on the list, including two large Palm Trees that I desperately needed trimmed.  They worked approximtely 10 to 15 minutes longer then I had contracted them completing the job and NOT charging me for the work.
Through out the time Bill and his crew worked, I watched them, they never stopped moving. Frankly, they hussled and I was amazed at their pace.  My tenant and I continued to comment to each other how much they accomplished in the alloted time.
Additionally, Bills crew was curious, polite and I will hire them again!

I'd gotten a quote from my regular tree guy for $250 to cut down a small tree at a rental property.  When I saw that there was an Angie's Deal for $250, I assumed that meant that it was a DEAL - not an unusually high price for a competitive service.  I sent Bill Kass an email with clear instructions listing the items in order of priority.  Number one was cutting down the dead tree in the back.  Number five was giving me a quote for removing the large dying tree in the front.
Number one - the main reason I was contacting a tree service - did not get done.  Instead, he gave me a quote for cutting down the small dead tree in the back of $500 - twice what my regular tree guy will do it for.  Bill didn't even give me a quote for cutting down the large dying tree in the front and said that it wasn't dying.  That a tree guy does not recognize a dying tree when specifically asked about it raises red flags.
Lastly, on the phone beforehand, we'd agreed that depending upon the amount and nature of waste produced, he would either leave the debris at the curb to be picked up by the garbage collectors, or haul it away for $135.  He now says that he can't make that determination of whether it will be picked up (despite the clear guidelines that the garbage collectors have), that he spoke to the tenant instead of calling me to ask whether he should take the debris (like a tenant is really going to pay $135 for its removal) and so now we're left with a dead tree still to be cut down and bunch of debris to be hauled away.


I have amended my grade on this review from a "D" to an "F" since talking to the tenant who lived at the house where the service was performed.  She said that the two men from NCG arrived promptly at 8:00 and were gone by 8:40.  In combined man hours that is less than an hour and a half that they worked after I had paid them for THREE hours.

Not only did they leave behind a pile of waste that damaged the grass underneath it before I could get another service to come remove it, but the tree service that came to do the job that NCG had been hired to do - namely take down a small tree - also repaired a number of branch stumps where NCG had butchered limbs rather than cutting them cleanly at joints.

I'd warn everyone not to go near this company!

Bill Kass, the owner, was a patient fellow with me which is a good thing.  Set the appointment to do the work for me quickly and arrived as agreed.  He and his team completed the work requested quickly as well.  I am a happy camper with his work and fee.

The team arrived on-time and were professional and courteous. The job started at approx 8:30 am and finished around 1:00pm. I am happy with the finished product and would consider using the landscape service again.  Labor charges are higher than other providers estimated at approx $75 per man per hour for a 3 man crew, Material charges were inline with researched prices for the items provided. The end results provide an immediate impact to the curb appeal of my home and overall worth the cost.

This went very well.  The crew's arrival was prompt.  The crew were attentive, courteous and professional.  They worked with me to get what I needed done.  Their work was efficient and competent.  My only complaint was I noticed after they left one of my garden hoses had a gash cut in it; I suspect one of the crew inadvertently hit it with a chain saw.  However, I take that as at least partly my fault, for not completely clearing the area in advance of their arrival.

NCG was punctual and professional. I explained what I needed done and they got to work. At one point they knocked on my door to ask where I wanted the palm trimmings placed. I had them put it at the corner curb, so the city will pick it up. They began placing the trimmings at that location, but at some point they stopped and started piling them up at the curb, but beside to car where the city truck can't get to them. Otherwise they did a good job, but the queen palm had a lot of trimmings and the pile in the wrong location was much larger than the pile in the correct location. The city could not pick up the trimmings since cars legally park in front of it, but the city was able to pick up the trimming that they placed in the location I specified. I had to move the pile myself so the city could pick up the trimmings. Because of this, I won't hire them again.
