Description of Work: We bought a bed with a trundle and bookcase from Kane's in Ocoee in 2013. The day is was delivered my son went to lay on it and it broke. A technician came and fixed it and told us to put a board underneath the mattress. Here we are two years later and it breaks again but this time worse. A technician came out on July 21 to takes pictures and said someone would call from the store. Two days later there was a message on the phone saying they were looking into the problem and would call back. August 11 I finally called them to check on the status since no one has called since. I was told that the technician reported the bed did not break due to manufacture defect and it was a result of "normal" use. The bed is only two years old. I told the manager is it typical for the furniture to only last two years? She of course continued to stated that the technician stated it was "normal" wear and tear. I cannot believe this is the kind of customer service they provide. I will NEVER buy anything from Kane's again. There furniture is poorly made and they do nothing to help in customer service.

After use of gentle use [we are 82 years old and don't jump on furniture] the fabric is peeling and cracking. It looks terrible. Like something Goodwill would turn down. When we went back to the store we were told that the warranty only applied to the frame and springs, not to upholstery. They would only repeat that your problem is not covered. I have had many recliners in my 82 years, and never had one look this bad in such a short time. I filed a report with the BBB which resulted in a call from the company that said sorry but the upholstery is not covered by the warranty and there is nothing we can do. My reply was that that didn't help me with recliners that looked like a cast out, but it did confirm that I will shop elsewhere in the future and advice everyone I can that Kane's furniture warranty means nothing!! Do NOT believe the TV adds!!.
Description of Work: In Jan 2012 we purchased two recliners with ottomans. After 2 years of service the chair material is disintegrating! The store refuses to make any restitution although the salesman at the store and all of the TV adds say that all of their furniture has a 'Lifetime Warranty'.
