Description of Work: Everything Solar installed a solar water heater in my home. We are very pleased with the entire process. They arrived on time for the our free estimate as well as installation. All of our questions were answered during and after install. They offered us the best price with top quality products. They even threw in a solar attic fan at no charge. I will definitely use and refer them to others in the future.

Description of Work: I contacacted Brad to remove my solar panels, replace and repair any after my new roof was installed. His crew showed up a day before I expected removed the panels and told me of the repairs that would have to be made upon putting them back up. His price was the going rate for removal and replacement. They were in and out within 1 hr and cleaned up. My roof was replaced and then I called them to come back and replace the panels. Again they were done in about 1 hr, did exactly what they said they would do and cleaned up once again. What else can you ask for?? He answered my calles promptly, rescheduled when I requested and sent professionals who were courteous and respectful.

+ 0 moreWorked well for about one day...then a one-way valve stuck open which allowed the water to circulate "in reverse) at night which cooled the stored water down from 140 degrees to about 110 degrees in a matter of just hours. Instead of replacing the valve with a new one "in-kind", they installed an electrically controlled valve (which is an upgrade) and covered the upgrade in cost as a warranty item (i.e., no charge).
Description of Work: Install solar hot water (direct, open loop) system to include a Lochinvar 65 gal tank with a manufacturer's 10 year extended warranty, a Solene Aurora panel to be roof mounted, a new 120 v. outlet in which to plug the Temperature Differential Module (TDM), and a Stecca TR603mcu module to record data and capable of downloading to a computer. Price included all electrical and plumbing work and a life time warranty against roof leaks as long as the existing roof was not replaced.

+ -1 moreBrad Launs is a Certified Solar Contractor (CVC56749) and states he is the principle owner of Everything Solar (a Division of Everything 4 Pools, Inc). I contracted with him primarily because of his apparent honesty, extensive solar experience and his ability to negotiate/execute a contract ?on the spot? without having to waste time getting approval from higher authority. And as a civil engineer with extensive construction contract administration experience, I wanted detailed contract language which is not usually included in standard forms that most contractors want to use; hence his willingness to negotiate a non-standard contract was very important to me?as was his low, competitive price among 3 bidders. Since he has only held his license since 2/4/09 and because my system was to be his first free-standing, taller than normal, double ?rack? ground-mounted installation with extensive computerized monitoring equipment, I expected the road to completion might have a few bumps in it?which it did. However, whenever he encountered a situation he wasn?t fully competent in answering, he was quick to make contact with another professional or a manufacturer?s rep on-the-spot with his ?Blackberry? to get an answer. Since his Division is basically a 2 person operation (him and a secretary), he relies on sub-contractors to get most of the work done and I was especially impressed with his electrical sub (Brian Miller of Professional Electrical Services in DeBary). Regarding timeliness, the contract was signed 4/12, engineering completed and permit ?pulled? 4/26, system operational 5/26, city?s final approval on 6/25 and Progress Energy net-metering device installed 6/29. The system?s performance appears to be operating as expected and may be viewed daily at www.sunnyportal.com by clicking on ?publicly available plants,? entering 32708 for the ?zip code? and clicking on ?Thompson-Winter Springs.?
Description of Work: This is an electricity generating Photo-voltaic (PV) system consisting of 24 Schott Poly 20 PV modules installed on two ground mounted racks with a top elevation of 8 feet above ground. The DC to AC converter was a SMA Sunny Boy 5000US/240VAC with DC disconnect located in the garage approximately 150 feet from the racks. Monitoring equipment installed included a Sunny Sensor box (to record module temperatures and the sun's intensity), a Sunny Webbox to record production data, and a T.E.D. 5000 which monitored househould electrical use as well as the solar generated power to be credited against the household usage.
