These gentlemen are consummate professionals. From the first phone call to Jamie through the last visit (and there were many), these people let you know that they had this entire situation covered! Robert, Jeremy, Tony, Charlie, Dennis, Jacob, Jonathan, Danny and Jeff all had a part in the process inside my house and the level of expertise, communication and work, exceeded my expectations. The customer service is above and beyond and whomever trained them in it should be commended. I highly recommend Damage Control to anyone in need!

The entire process went smoothly and the walls and floors were dried out by blowers and dehumidifiers in each room. They came back daily at a time convenient for me to check the moisture level and when we had a low reading everything was removed. The next part is even more meaningful in that we were going to have the new flooring installed and when the floors were pulled up in 2 adjoining rooms moisture had seeped into those rooms as well. Damage Control volunteered to return with equipment the same day the moisture was located and dried out the additional rooms at no additional cost. We found everyone at Damage Control that we dealt with to be professional: from the initial person who set up the order to the techs and especially "Duck".

Overall it went well. The the entire master shower ended up needing to be removed due a valve leak and leaking shower pan. They did an excellent job of sealing off the work area so mold, dust, and debris would stay contained and the job site was clean when they were done. Have already recommended them and would gladly use them again

I got quotes from several other companies before I settled on these guys. They were the most fairly priced. Other people wanted a lot more money for such a small project. All I needed was some mold remediation in my main bathroom.

Such a great company! They answered all of my questions and listened to all of my concerns. They were able to get out to my house fast and billed my insurance company for everything. I definitely would recommend this company to anyone that needs mold remediation in the Orlando area.

They came to look at the mold in our bathroom, and instead of charging us to clean it, they simply gave instructions on how we could do it ourselves. Thanks!

I had two leaks in my home so I called Damage Control. They responded and were at my home immediately. Once at my property, the technician informed us of the drying process and what needed to be done to ensure the property was dried out properly. The techs were very knowledgeable and thorough. The office staff was very helpful in walking us through the insurance process and all the hassles that go with that as well. I can?t speak highly enough about Damage Control and would not hesitate to call them for any water/mold needs in the future.

I am a realtor and manage properties.  One of my homes had a mold issue and I contacted Damage Control.  They were prompt, very professional and walked me through what needed to be done.  Their pricing is fair and their service is wonderful.  They have helped me out in a jam on emergency water issues as well.  I have used them at least 5 times and never had an issue with them or their technicians.  I would most definitely recommend this company.

We had a copper pipe leak near our hot water heater. It puddled on the floor and was mopped up many times before the plumber arrived. The plumber replaced the pipe and left. Another leak in the same area sprang up and the plumber had to return. Jeff's Kitchen and Bath Beyond referred us to Damage Control. We are new to the area and didn't know any better about who to call for water cleanup. We trusted the referral from the plumber( huge mistake). Damage control came several hours later. The technician inquired aggressively about using insurance or cash pay. I should've known then that this was a disaster in the making. After speaking to my wife, we decided to not turn it in to the insurance since it wouldn't meet our deductible. After speaking with his supervisor, the tech said it'd be 900.00. We agreed since we had to remedy the water issue. We had just installed engineered wood floors and didn't want to sacrifice that investment. The tech metered the walls, ripped off some damaged Sheetrock, vacuumed up a little water and set up 3 blowers and a dehumidifier. He was here 30 min. He said he'd be back on Thursday to pick up the equipment. A day later our Master closet had a foul odor and the water seeped down the wall and saturated the thick carpet. I had to take up carpet and cut away carpet padding. I then had to move their equipment to dry the closet . When I told the tech about it he said " so now you're a water restoration expert. He overlooked that we were paying for HIS expertise. We didn't see anyone from Damage Control on Thursday, so we called on Friday. The tech lied saying he called us 5 times with no answer. Our call logs do not support this fabrication. Finally Late Friday afternoon the tech was contacted and he said he'd come by later to get equipment and since we were leaving town , we arranged for the equipment to be picked up on Mon. On Tuesday the tech called and said he couldn't make it. So finally on Thursday another tech came to retrieve their equipment. This tech was taken aback when I explained how this job went and he told me they were supposed to visit daily and monitor moisture levels until readings were normal. NEVER happened here. After the equipment was picked we got a call from the original tech wondering why we were unhappy. I explained that we really never got the service we expected. He said he'd talk to the supervisor and came back with a 650.00 price. I told the tech to have the owner call me. NEVER happened again. Now I just received a bill for 900.00 . Let's calculate this. The initial tech was here 30 min. And the returning tech was here 10 min. That's 15.00 a minute or 600.00 hr. WE SHOULD ALL BE IN THIS BUSINESS. Another plumber told me that these restoration companies offer referral fees that can be as high as 500.00 per referral. This whole company is a SHAM and a RIPOFF. THE SERVICE WE RECEIVED IS SHAMEFUL AND DISHONEST. I am disgusted by this company and their refusal to return a call to discuss this matter. I guess they are only interested in collecting your money for extremely poor service. I will also never hire the referring company either since there is a dishonest symbiotic relationship. We had to repipe our house and we hired another reputable plumber rather than dealing with these dishonest entities. ...

The insurance company paid for it. They basically jacked the price up for the insurance company. There was some minor damage done and some things that they broke while wrapping it up. They damaged my dining room table because they put some stuff on it that shouldn’t have been put. I was very unhappy. It was not major damage but it was aggravation. They just came in and started storing stuff in boxes and I didn’t know where anything was. I was trying to do it in a sensible way so I would know where stuff was, but they brought eight people in here and just started loading the pod.

They came out quickly and did a good job. They had a hard time coming back to pick up the machines so it took a couple of extra days to get here. I did not have a problem with this; the guy was nice and did a good job. I wished they would have picked up the machines earlier, but they came out quickly to begin using the machines. I have used them before, but probably will not use them again.

Unfortunately, this firm does not concern itself with quality workmanship and left glaring details uncompleted, such as the absent baseboard at the bottom of the steps.  Although the hardwood floor shows well now, the problem with this firm are the details that make a project a success.  For example, careless workers in the course of repainting the ceiling, left paint splotches on the tenants' furniture as well as damage to the dining room table by scratching the wood and the glass on the table.  Over the span of months, there have been many back and forth conversations with this firm to rectify the matter with the tenant and they have shown no concern.  They claim they are waiting on payment from the insurance company, but when the insurance company was contacted about payment, they claimed that a major portion of the payment to Damage Control was completed and that the insurance company is waiting on a procedural item of assigning an appraiser for final project appraisal.  In other words, Damage Control puts their profit BEFORE their customers.
My tenant has proceeded to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau with this company (where to her non-existent surprise, there are more than 10 complaints filed against this company).  I'm following up now, putting this review into Angie's List.  Do yourself a favor: water damage is traumatic enough!  You do not need to make matters worse by hiring this company, Damage Control!

They very quickly got fans and dehumidifiers going and instructed us to leave them going round the clock for the next several days. They removed the wet baseboards, took the wet carpet loose, and removed a section of our laminate floor to reveal wet concrete. They checked on us and their machines every day or so and when everything was dry, they removed their equipment and sent out a workman to replace the baseboards. The employees who were sent out were all polite and hard-working and we feel like they did an excellent job. Their fee was billed to our insurance company.

Peter came for to estimate the job and then never followed up with an estimate, even after I emailed and spoke to the office. Very unprofessional. He seemed very qualified, so I was disappointed when there was no follow-through.

A water pipe in my wall began leaking into a bedroom Friday night. Robin came promptly about 1.5 hours after I called for assistance, and removed the water and initiated the drying process that night. He came back Saturday to pull the baseboards off the wall to get better air circulation, and to bring a second dehumidifier. He collected the equipment and confirmed dryness early Tuesday morning. In the end I was very happy I had this job professionally done instead of trying to do it myself - they have the right equipment for the job. An improvement would have been an upfront estimate for the work (I still don't know what they will charge my insurance company), and a more detailed description of their planned services. For example, in my case their service did not include restoring the baseboards, cleaning the carpet, or providing the insurance company with an opinion about the final condition of the carpet. I guess in hindsight this makes some sense, because each job will require different types of restoration - and they did offer to install new baseboards for a separate fee. The work they performed was done very well.

We called this company in an emergency at our business and they responded immediately. They performed their work after hours and before we opened for business the next day. They left large fans to help dry the area throughout the night. Before we opened, they came back and extracted more water from the carpeting and deodorized. It was a messy job, and they did it great. Jim Apuzzo came and assessed the job and was very helpful getting our business open the next morning. I would suggest this company for water damage or extraction.
