Due to the difficult economic times we are all experiencing, we are offering a 5% DISCOUNT ON ALL SERVICES! CFBI provides home inspections and commercial property inspections for real estate transactions. We have been in business in the Central Florida area since 1988 and perform thousands of inspections each year. We inspect all properties as if we were the ones purchasing them ourselves. All full home & commercial inspections include free thermal imaging scan, a computer-generated report with photos along with detailed recommendations on corrective actions. Residential real estate inspections include a 90-day warranty, RecallChek report for all appliances, MoldSafe policy, Sewer Guard protection & a 5-year Platinum Roof Leak Protection Plan. All of our home & commercial inspections also include a BuildFax permit history report! When Experience Matters, choose CFBI.

James Pence, the inspector, arrived on time. He did a thorough inspection. Explained in detail what was done and what I had to do in the areas that needed further attention. CFBI sent me their best inspector. I am totally satisfied with this inspection. I will recommend CFBI/Mr. Pence to everyone.

James did a fantastic job going through every nook and cranny. He showed up on time and demonstrated full professionalism throughout the inspection process. The report was extremely thorough and permitted us to negotiate a more fair price on the house given the various outstanding issues. The report included pictures to permit clarity around where the issues were located.

It went great. It took a while to schedule, but that was mostly because of my schedule and the impending holidays. JT did our inspection and he was prompt, courteous, and thorough. We had the report back within a couple of days, emailed to me with everything in order. I was able to submit to my insurance company and save almost $1,000 on a typical Florida premium. Would hire again.

Wonderful service. They arrived exactly on time, completed the work in a very professional manner. Made suggestions to fix issues, gave advise on things that weren't included in the 4-point inspection and provided a thorough professionally prepared report! Will definitely use them in the future.

JT did an incredible job inspecting a new home purchase. Everything went flawlessly. Booked on short notice. Arrived on time and went through everything. Called me after inspection to go over major issues. Received 80 page report next day with photos and detailed descriptions of every problem. Great experience.

The service was several years ago, when I wasn't even an Angie's List member yet, or the company! But I wanted to let everyone know that JT Edgren is a fantastic home inspector. He is very professional, very thorough on his inspection (spending many hours) and extremely detailed in the report he provides. And something else that I really appreciate it that he offered to help if I ever needed him. And it's true - I had to call him a couple of times when those mysterious house troubles we all can't seem to get away from had me stumped or when I needed a recommendation - and JT always answers, which is fantastic seeing the fact that he would not have anything specific to gain from helping a customer from years ago. So with that said, I highly recommend Mr. Edgren as your home and wood-destroying organism inspector.

It went very well. They were thorough and easy to work with. They took pictures of everything and sent me a report that had all the pictures as well the writeup on it. They found something that was not a big deal but was still an item of interest. They talked to me about it and told me what I could do to take care of it. So, I was very pleased with their work. They were also definitely there a little early which was fine.

He was very good and wrote a thorough analysis paper on the inspection. I used two or three other inspectors.  I even showed them the paperwork he provided and they were impressed.  I would rate him one of the top home inspections. However, he did not have the infrared camera that catches the temperature and that is a very important aspect for me. He was very good at explaining everything to me during the inspection.
