I’m not a person that has ever written one these reviews but I feel potential customers should know what I had to endure. I had a full tank and drain field replacement. I started this process in January and they finished the work 06/28, not to mention I didn’t receive the updated invoice until 08/06. Communication, setting expectations, and executed work have all been horrendous. Communication - I’m not going to list all the scenarios but I had over a dozen different times where I had to call follow up on a situation that they could have alerted me to. Setting expectations - Everything ran late with no follow up. Aside from the obvious 5-6 month timeframe, I woke up early, called out of work, and cancelled plans for events this company never showed up to. Executed work - The main driver for this job was to relocate my tank and drain field so I could build a larger shed in my back yard, all of this was explained to them. 2/5 of the drain field was placed in my build area forcing me to change plans with my contractor and I will need to build a much smaller shed. Additionally they killed my plumeria tree, concaved a wall on the existing shed, dented my chainlink fence, severed my internet line and wrecked my yard beyond what I thought was possible. I was reimbursed $250 total, with $100 being the internet cord. I would have never agreed to do business with this company if I know the level of indifference. I hope this review will give new customers pause.

Horrible experience with these guys. They came didn't listen to me as to where the leak was in my plumbing, cut out big hole in my wall that was unnecessary instead of going in the crawl space which he refused to do and didn't fix my problem whatsoever because it wasn't in the wall. Now I paid $200 for them to come out and screw my wall up and not fix my plumbing problem and I have to pay to fix the wall and I lost $200 don't call these guys!!!!

Call Brownies Oct 2022 sine they had pumped my septic tank April 2022, told the lady in the phone I didn’t know if it needed to be pumped but water backed up in my showers and drains slow. A plumber had been out a few days before and scoped my lines for any blockage but not any. The guy came and my husband was home and he just pumped the tank told him it might last a week plumbing issue. Charge $375 and it did nothing shower still backed up and when I got the report it said drain field was draining slow. The guy never mentioned it. Very disappointed I paid for a service I did not need.
Response from Brownie's Septic and Plumbing
"Mrs. [Member Name Removed], I am sorry for your confusion and frustration. You had a plumber come out and they told you that you did not have a blockage and to call a septic company. We came out and our technician pump your septic tank as instructed. Once he pumped your tank he can then diagnose your septic system and he then told you that your drainfield appear to be failing. The only way you can check to see if a drain field is not functioning properly is to pump out the tank first. It cannot be done any other way!!! I am sorry you did not like the news that you septic system is failing and now you want to write a bad review as if we did something wrong. YOU hired us to pump out your septic tank which cost $375. We did that and then checked your system for FREE and diagnosed that your drain field is failing. You are right, it did not fix your problem of slow drainage because that will require a new septic system. But that does not mean you should NOT pay for the service provided. YOU PAID for a service that YOU ABSOLUTELY NEEDED and not you have the answer to what exactly is causing your problem. You can't evaluate a septic system when it is full, that is why it has to be pumped out. Again, we are sorry you did not understand this process. MARC"

This company is a fraud. They pumped my septic system in April 2022. Tenants started to have sewer issues a few month later. I hired another to inspect and they found that the inlet tank was not pumped. Don't use this company for anything.
Response from Brownie's Septic and Plumbing
"[Member Name Removed], Usually, I try to be polite in responding to reviews BUT never call our company, Brownie's Septic and Plumbing a fraud. You do not know what you are talking about, and it is illiterate. We have been servicing the wonderful people if Orlando since 1948. Over the last 74 years we have helped over 50,000 customers. We pumped your tank 6 months ago. It [Member Information Removed] fill back up in a few days depending on the usage by your tenant. How does one another company know we didn't pump the dosing tank 6 months later. The answer is THEY DON'T, it is impossible to know. Do you know what your tenants flush down their toilets, do they use wet wipes, do you know what they put down their sink, do they dump cooking oil down the drain, do you even know what they put down their drains or flush down their toilet over the last 6 months. NO, you don't have any idea. But now you have a new issue with your tenant's septic system, and you want to blame the company that serviced it 6 months ago and call them a fraud. You don't even live in the residence in question, so you have NO knowledge of what going down their drains or down their toilets, but you immediately assume we did something wrong. What a shame. Your dosing tank should not ever be packed with solids whether it was pumped out 6 months ago or not. So, maybe you should take your frustrations out on your tenants, since that is the only [Member Information Removed] you tank could be in that condition. MARC"

Everything is great! The technician picked out the perfect faucet and fixed a problem that we have had for years while doing it. My mother can't drive so the tech went and got the faucet for her. Will definitely use if I need a company again

Tech was very professional. I was worried because I did not know exactly where my tank was. He found the tank quickly and only had to uncover a small area to find the pump out lid. The tank was pumped and cleaned quickly. I am very satisfied.

I just moved in to a new house and already had plumbing issues in two bathrooms! I immediately called Brownie's and spoke with the plumbing manager who was very pleasant to talk to on the phone. He got someone to come out right away. Thomas came out and fixed my toilet and was nice enough to fix another issue I didn't even know I had. I will definitely call Brownie's again for any future problems!

$800 later things were fine. Unfortunately, less than six months later exactly same symptoms. Down to plumbing fixtures in the house that were affected. Afraid to call them about warranty because I don't trust them. Figure they will find excuse charge me again.
Response from Brownie's Septic and Plumbing
"[Member Name Removed], I am truly sorry you were not satisfied 6 months later. WE stand behind and guarantee all of our work. We do not manufacture the plumbing fixtures. We only install them. If something breaks 6 months after it was installed, we would go back to the manufacturer of the plumbing fixtures and have them replace them for you. I am disappointed that you didn't call us back and assumed we did something wrong and did not give us a chance to make it right before writing a bad review. WE 100% Guarantee all of our work... They came do the work a few years back. To replace both septic tank and drain field. We had issues with them back then, with leaving a lot of dirt in our property and having a really hard time with them them removing the mounds of dirt they wanted to leave in our front yard. I probably still have a 2 feet raise in the median on the sidewalk from when they did the job. Back then I didn't think it was enough to write a review about it, but just a few months ago we had our main drain pipe replaced and the plumber was telling me none of the new piping that Brownie's had installed was glued, it was all just put together. Still water under the bridge, didn't write a review. Then just today we had the tank pumped for the first time by a different company and the pipe holding the filter in the talk just fell into the tank when the men were putting the filter back in. Then they wiggled the "T" connection and that just came off too. None of that was glued either!!! I'm not sure if that was a one off that they weren't paying attention but I just want people to be aware of our experience and hopefully you can find a more thorough company.
Response from Brownie's Septic and Plumbing
"Mr. [Member Name Removed], My name is Marc and I am the President of Brownie's. I need to clarify a few things about your review since you decided to post the review years after service and you are relying on inforation from competitors of ours to derive your facts. A mound was required by the county when we installed your septic system. That is not our choice. When we installed your system, the system was passed by an inspector before it was covered. That means that all pipes were properly glued and the entire system was installed correctly and passed a county inspection which is required. If you had issues, I wish you would have called us and we could have corrected the situation, if indeed there actually was an issue. We stand by all of our work and 100% Guarantee everything we do."

Worse nite mare ever. Worker broke my irrigation ( I was told they would fix it ) was not done !! I was told before the job was started that they wouldn’t go on my driveway and they did , when the job was complete there was a pile of dirt on the top of the busted up driveway . Three weeks later I was emailed a final bill that was more then I was quoted ?
Response from Brownie's Septic and Plumbing
"Ms. [Member Name Removed], You told us that you would right bad reviews everyhwere if you didn's get what you wanted from us. You have succeed. My only reason for responding is to let the public know the real facts. The only way to install your drain field was to drive over your driveway and/or the sidewalk or through your house. We had no choice. We have pictures of your drive way prior to starting your job and it was cracked from the garage to the road. It was an old broken drive way. The machine left a few scratch marks on the driveway but did not bust it up in anyway. You also signed a contract that spefically state that the home owner would be responsible for replacing their own sprinklers but now you are stating that we told you we would fix it. Not true...that is why we put it in the contract that you signed. Sorry you were upset that we didn't buy you a new driveway. We did provide you with a perfect new Septic System with a 5 year warranty."
