Excellent work by Garage Design Works. Randy was on time for the initial visit and estimate as well as the day of the project. His team was quick and experienced. They did an excellent job of preparing the floor and applying the coating. The 27 year old floor looks like a million bucks. The whole job took only 2 hours. We'll definetelly use Garage Design Works again.

Before the new wood could be installed, the old wood had to be removed and the concrete had to be dried out.  Removal of the old wood ended up being a grueling and time consuming job.  The project manager added the additional workers needed to stay on schedule, and despite several unexpected challenges, the job was completed exactly when promised. 

This was a large job, requiring several different tradesmen besides the wood floor installers.  AB Floors hired and scheduled all of the needed tradesmen to complete the entire job.  Other companies that I received bids from would have required me to individually contract with the other tradesmen needed such as movers, electricians, painters and the cabinet specialist.  That was an overwhelming prospect to me and this was the major reason why I selected AB Floors.

I found all of the workers to be not only competent but friendly and respectful of me as well as my home.  I requested that all workers refrain from smoking inside my home, garage and on my patio.  This was very important to me and that request was respected at all times. My husband and I are extremely pleased with the job that AB Floors did from our initial interaction with the owner, Ronald Bueno to the end of the job. Our wood floors are beautiful and we both highly recommend this company.

A B Floors & Restoration did a great job at my kitchen. We had mold and water damage in my kitchen cabinets. They did the restoration in a very professional manner and deal with with the insurance company directly. They did what they said they would do and I am very happy with the end result. The initial idea was a light remodel but after the clear breakdown we were able to do so much more with our budget.  My floors look great, the kitchen was affordable and amazing, the humidity is gone and the finishing touches in the trim round up my renovation and turned my house is to the perfect representation of what we visualized.

The singular best experience I have ever had with any category of home repair. I wish Ronald and his team were also plumbers, electricians and landscapers. I would never have to call anyone else for superior work and craftsmanship.

The people at Garage Design Works make it so easy it's as simple as looking at the brochures, and placing the order and let then do the rest.

When you find a vendor who can be counted on, has competitive pricing, a wide range of products, and superior knowledge of those products, you keep that person's contact info close by! Ronald and Marco know more about flooring than any other flooring installer I've ever hired. Ronald came out to measure for four rooms of new carpet and 3 rooms for carpet cleaning. Even with the short notice, Ronald and Marco were able to get all that work done within a couple of days - before our movers were delivering our furniture. I already have an estimate from Ronald for 850 sq ft of tile we're having installed in the near future. I have no doubt that it will look great and last forever. AB Floors & Restoration will treat you right and make your floors look amazing!

In the last review I mentioned that we had a tile job coming up with AB Floors. They did indeed install over 850 sq ft of tile throughout my home and it looks AMAZING!!! However, not only did they do that, these guys ALSO were able to take care of some MAJOR renovations in the house. With their experience in flood restoration, Ronald, Marco, and their guys came in, demo'd my entire kitchen, took down one load bearring and two non load bearring walls, installed new load bearring header(s) and columns, installed/finished the drywall, resurfaced our ceilings, and installed trim. Not only does our house look absolutely amazing, but they got the job done in about 30 days AND kept because of proper preparation, the amount of dust and debris in my home was kept to a minimum. Having done renovation projects like this before (both myself and hired out), I was beyond pleasantly surprised at how quickly, efficiently, and professionally our project got done. Expecting this type of work to take 3-6 months with lots of down time in between, getting the major structural work, flooring, etc all done in 30 days +/- was truly remarkable. If there were questions or concerns (which there were VERY few), Ronald and Marco were just a phone call away. These issues were resolved with either a phone call and then reporting back to me OR even a visit here to the job site. I took on the job of GC for this entire project. Having Ronald & Marco as my "Project Managers" for the structural portion was a decision I'm going to be happy with as long as we live in this house. Even on the last day when they came to pick up the final bits of trash, finish up the punch list, and get their final check, Marco noticed a little spot (maybe a 1/4") in a transitional doorway (meeting of tile and carpet) where there is no grout. They told me to plan for the tile guy to come out and fix that soon (and I'm sure they will, but it wasn't even something we noticed). One last thing, I called 7 contractors to look at my project. You know it's a bad sign when they either 1) don't return your calls or 2) try to talk the customer OUT of getting permits and having inspections. Not only did AB Floors & Restoration come out when I asked, but, Ronald referred us to the architect/design firm to draw up our plans, gave us what we thought was a fair estimate, AND was (I think) more comfortable with the fact that we were getting this job permitted and inspected. There is no doubt that I will call AB Floor & Restoration again. Many thanks Ronald and Marco! We are SO thrilled!!!

Great job to date. Nick and his crew showed up and performed first task in an outstanding fashion.The overhead storage racks have proved invalauable as part of the clean up and organizing the garage. The new gear wall is outstanding, looks great, and already has added to the value of the home garage.
Since the next stage involved removing everything from the garage to coat the floor, including installed cabinets.They are making their box truck available to store the garage contents until the garage floor is useable. I appreciate having my goods secured during the floor coating.
Company locally owned and Nick, the owner, went out of his way to explain and cost the job. When complete, the job will have require three seperate trips to my house to complete the work. He even scheduled around my recent vacation .Most companies would not have been this flexible!
I fully espect all to go well as they complete the job. So far, this is a company that understand good customer service!

They did an amazing job. They called me before they were about to arrive, each and every time. They were very professional. They told me what they were going to do. They did what they said they were going to do, and they did a great job at it. They did beautiful work. My garage looks incredible. They gave me no problems, whatsoever. It was a pleasure. They provided cabinetry, hooks, sealed concrete with multi-colored chipping. It is beautiful.

Our floor finish had to be sanded off first before the epoxy floor could be installed which takes longer than if you had never finished your garage floor! When called, the problem was rectified. They were responsive to our concerns and took corrective action as soon as possible, and worked on it until we were satisfied. Due to the issue with the floor our cars did have to sit in the summer heat longer than anticipated. I love the organization-there is places for everything, the material does not warp with humidity and has a clean appearance. We are the envy of the neighbors :)

The floor that I purchased was awesome! It more than met our expectations. We are the envy of the neighborhood. The product and quality is superior. I am so glad we didn't go to one of the ''Box'' Home Supply companies for this product or try to do it ourselves. A neighbor did it themselves, and there is no comparison. It is like adding a whole new room to our house. I don't even want to drive on it cause the floor is so beautiful.

The PVC shelving is able to be customized to fit your needs and can be changed around very easily if you want to move things around. They aren't cheap, but they showed me all of the options I had and measured for an estimate. After the initial installation of the storage system in the shed, I had them come back out to put a system in my garage. They came out and worked with me to find the best solution. After they installed, I had some questions about what they had done and they were very responsive. They helped me find products that had to be special ordered and even gave me names of other places I could purchase the same products through, even though they are competitors. The quality is better than the storage systems you'll find in your local hardware/home improvement stores.
