"We apologize for not getting back with you in a timely manner. However, giving us an "F" rating when we have not done any physical roofing work for you in unfair. We simply cannot do every roofing estimate that is called into our office."
"We did refer you to the shingle Manufacturer for them to inspect the shingles for any defects."
"Member, Sorry our website was acting up when you first attempted to contact us. During Tropical storm Debby, we were getting between 80 - 100 phone calls daily. As you can imagine, this was quite overwhelming even with 26 men working full-time. Unfortunately, some of these phone call messages got lost in the shuffle. We apologize that apparently you were one of them. I looked on Clay County's website and you have had no roofing permit pulled on your residence. If you still need roof work done, please call us and we will make sure you are attended to immediately. Sorry for any inconvenience that we have caused you. Our normal response time in person is within 48 hours to your residence."
"Due to the fact that your post on Angie's List has just been brought to my attention, I am responding to your post at this time. I am a bit confused concerning your response. After the job was completed you called me with a few concerns: 1. We replaced your chimney cap, which was included in the Contract price. You thought that you should also receive a new spark arrestor. Your spark arrestor was not included in the Contract. It was in fine condition and did not need replacing, but to please the customer, I purchased and installed a new spark arrestor valued at $200 and given to you FREE of charge. 2. You had concerns regarding the drywall at the top of your skylight chutes. Your old plastic skylights had been caulked from the inside to your drywall. When your skylights were removed the caulking was cut, but some of the drywall was irregular and was so water damaged that it fell apart. Your new glass skylights do not fit exactly the same because they attach to your drywall with a wooden frame that sits up, and your old plastic skylight sat flat to the roof. I told you that we could put some drywall mud at the top of the skylights and would be happy to do it for you. You told me that you were going to be repainting the room and you would "handle it". But if I wanted to come by and do it, that would be fine. Unfortunately, I never made it back due to our busy work schedule. Since I never heard from you again, I just figured you spackled it yourself as you indicated you were going to do. Sorry for any inconvenience this has caused you. If I need to reimburse you for your time, please let me know."
"First of all, we apologize for any convenience this may have caused. We will resolve this issue and the job will be completed. To narrow down, this job consists of two stages. A shingled roof and a flat roof. The first stage is the shingle roof. This was completed in (2) days to the customer's satisfaction on 10/21/11. The second part is the flat roof. On the flat roof, a liquid cement is used to adhere the rubber to the plywood and underlayment. To insure a good quality job, the longer the rubber has a chance to adhere to the underlayment, the better is will seal and not shrink. If this time is cut short, there is a greater possibility the wood underneath will rot and leak later. This liquid cement needs to set 2-4 weeks. Now, this may be where a miscommunication may have occurred. The office may have noted to the customer that it took 2-4 days instead of 2-4 weeks to seal. Therefore, the customer is looking for the job to completed by 10/23/11 and that is not possible. as a professional contractor, we care about the quality of our work and that the job is done the right way. As for the other work the customer needs done, this can be done without waiting. In addition, as of this day, the customer has NOT been invoiced. The customer has NOT been asked to pay and will NOT be asked for payment until the job is complete. As of now, the job was completed 11/16/11, per customer request and customer has paid in full. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience or miscommunication. Kindest Regards, Keith K Stern, Pres. KEITH STERN ROOFING"
