"We were called back to the residence and had to replace the safety float switch. That is a drain line issue not an a/c issue"
"We cannot respond if there is no reasoning behind the poor rating. This service was done in 2014. Why wait a year to report?"
There was no detectable leak however the refrigerant was low. There seemed to be no reason it would be low. He added more and the unit works.
Now i am really not sure I can trust this company!
"I am very surprised to see this review. We were called out to a rental property that was not heating. Upon arrival the service man checked the refrigerant levels and the unit was very low. We did not install the unit but advised the customer that we should perform a leak check to see where the refrigerant was leaking from so this issue does't happen again. The unit holds 9 lbs of refrigerant and the leak check and repair with two hours labor would normally run $815.00 but since we have done work for them in the past we would discount the bill to $435.00 TO FIX THE LEAK AND FILL UNIT WITH REFRIGERANT!!! The only way for refrigerant to leave the system is from a leak or theft so if the leak was not repaired the problem will show up again. I am not sure why my integrity would be questioned for accurately reporting the issue and providing an affordable solution."

"We are sorry that [Member Name] was not happy with the information we provided to him. [Member Name] was not present when we responded to his call, we were instructed to contact the office of Bay Aristocrat to get a key. No one was at the office over the weekend but the technican was able to over-ride the t-stat and turn the unit on from outside. When checking the unit the refrigerant pressures were low, that would cause the unit to run along time and would account for a higher electric bill. My technican called [Member Name] in Canada and told him of the issues, gave him an option to make repairs, but given the age of the unit(over 10 years old) and the type of refrigerant his older machine uses he explained the benefits of replacement. [Member Name] said he was going to mull his options and get back to us. The technican said he would top off the charge so the unit would not run constantly and would wait to hear from him. When [Member Name] did call back it was to say he wasnt happy with the diagnosis and another company said the refrigerant charge was fine. Having just added refrigerant, I explained to [Member Name], it would not show that it was low so that was not a valid point. The capacitor that he had replaced and supposed fix to the unit would not have allowed the unit to run at all, so we would not have been able to turn the unit on when we responded to his call. So once again we apologize that we did not have the news [Member Name] wanted but we reported what we found."
He said well you owe me for a service call!
I said no, you are here to give me an estimate, he gave me an estimate that was twice as much as any others.
THEN THE WORST PART IS NOW I AM ON THERE COMPUTER MARKETING. I HAVE BEEN GETTING MARKETING CALLS FROM THEM ALMOST EVERY DAY, IT IS A REAL PAIN.

The techs (Isacc and Brandon) was here at 10 a.m. on Monday and everything was completed by 2. Everything was cleaned up and the old unit and parts were taken away. Both techs were professional and worked the entire time to get things running again. They were very courteous and friendly guys. Our house started to cool down immediately and all is well again!
We were very pleased with the entire process starting with the call on Sunday to the intstall. My husband and I highly recommend Superior and will certainly continue to use them in the future and also recommend them to anyone that needs this type of service.
