"this member is a employee at Davis Bews Design Group. She contacted us to repair 2 office chairs at Davis Bews Design Group. ! chair she stated is her managers whom was not there at time of service, its a executive chair and stated the chair back kept falling backward. The second chair a secretarial chair stated the seat would not stay up. Upon expectation of the executive chair it was notice that the tension lever was not fully engaged so we reattached it to its normal working position and so was repaired and agreed upon that it was now working properly. The second secretary chair was also a adjustment matter and the chair was agreed upon that it was know a working chair. A fee of 85.00 was charged and paid in full for satisfactory work. The following day the member called and stated when her manger came back to work and she was complaining that the chair has a additional problem that was not noted on the first trip. Upon inspection at the second trip at (no charge), it was determined that there was in fact a additional problem unrelated to the first complaint and a part would be needed to repair such a problem. Of course we would not have such a part, and never implied that we carry all parts for all office chairs that have ever been made and to do so would be very challenging at best. Our time is very valuable and we do need to charge a service fee regardless of having a part or not. We did find the problem and did determine in fact it was broken and a viable option since the chair was 11 years old was to replace it rather then spending more money on something that they mite not ever get a part for. As a side note we were pretty shocked to see such a negative review since your employer never contacted us to determine or verify with us such a claim before you as the employee could or would speak on there behalf through a review post, since the work was performed at there place of business and payed for by them. If the owner of Davis Bews Design Group would like to contact us and discuss this issue in a professional manner we would be more than happy to meet with them and discuss it further.Im sure as professionals they would agree that a review post mite not be the best way to handle such a easily avoidable situation."
I then called Authorized Furniture Service. They said that the repair was routine. They were prompt. professional and did the repair easily within the allotted time for the service call.
