Josh was a straight shooter. He is a great guy who gives you the facts and lets you make your decisions based off of the facts without pressuring you. We had multiple companies come out who were pressuring us to repipe which would have been very costly and Josh told us he could fix the leak first and see how that helped us. He was very punctual, honest, professional, and worked very efficiently. I would no doubt call him and the pampering plumber again if anything comes up in the future.

PLUMBER CAME TO HOOK UP A OUTDOOR SINK CHARGED US $300 PUT THE SINK FAUCET TOGETHER. AFTER USING THE SINK THREE TIMES THE BASE OF FAUCET WAS NOT INSTALLED CORRECTLY AND IS MISSING A GASKET. CALLED THEM TO SEE IF THEY COULD COME OUT AND FIX IT. THEY ONLY GIVE 90 DAY WARRENTY ON WORK PREFORMED. THEY SAID THEY WOULD HAVE TO TALK TO SUPERVISORS TO SEE WHAT THEY CAN DO THAT WAS ABOUT A WEEK AGO, BUYER BEWARE, COMPANY COMPANY DOES NOT STAND BY THE WORK. CALLED BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU.

However, it does look like this was all customer supplied material - if the determination is that the faucet is defective then charges will apply as we cannot warrant product that we didn't supply. Quoted each item individually (flat rate pricing). $168 to replace plastic fitting. Will do the job myself and save the $768 quoted to do a 2 hour job. The flat rate pricing is a rip off especially if there are multiple items.

Both T.J. & Richard were very personable & as far as we know (not knowing plumbing) did a very thorough job. The cost was very high, but being new to this state & not knowing the price of plumbing updates, we simply accepted it. We couldn’t have had nicer guys doing the work though - we loved them both.

"After reviewing your service call, it seems that we had charged the $59 dispatch fee because we were unable to reach you for approval on the pricing quoted for a faucet and garbage disposal install. Whenever we are doing work in a landlord/tenant scenario, we need to be able to reach the landlord for approval prior to doing any work - because we were unable to do so, we had to collect the dispatch fee and move on to our next call. We never like to leave a customer with unresolved plumbing issues, but we also cannot perform any work without the approval to do so."

I called them to arrange for a quote. Took all my information (what needed to be done, name, address, phone, etc.), and only then informed me that they charge for an estimate!! $59! If you choose to have them do the work, they supposedly 'subtract' the $59 from the bill. Just know up front that they will not come out and give you a quote so you can reasonably compare with other companies.

However, it does state on our Angie's List profile that we do not provide Free Estimates for plumbing service or repairs and we did let you know about our procedures prior to scheduling so that there were no surprises. Generally, we're able to perform the work quoted right then and there because our technicians arrive with a fully stocked box truck - if the estimate is accepted, then you do not pay the dispatch fee and you only pay what was quoted."

We have used Pampering plumber for ten years. Always excellent service with Eddie as our primary service representative. Eddie conducted a video review of our main sewer line that connects the house to the county sewer system to determine whether we needed follow up to a previous and necessary clean out. The concern was roots from nearby plantings. The review showed a clean line, removing any need to change current landscaping.

We had another plumber out to look at the leak. I told my mom to get another estimate. Art and George came out and was able to fix the stem without replacing the whole system. Excellent customer service, very thorough explaining what was wrong, and had the repair done within a half hour. Will use The Pampering Plumber again and would highly recommend.

Their staff is always very friendly from the minute they first answer the phone. I have had a few different service guys over the years and they have always been very nice and explain everything so I can understand it. The issues are always fixed and I have never had to come back out for something again.

Unfortunately, the main water line into our home broke over the New Year weekend. Pampering Plumber sent a plumber (Keith) on a Saturday. He provided a temporary repair that stopped the leak. Came back on Monday and completed the repair. Fair price and excellent service. These are the guys you call for plumbing repairs. Always.

Pampering Plummer installed a tankless water heater about 18 months ago and the unit failed in early December. I have used Pampering Plumber for all our plumbing needs for around nine years. Eddie has been our primary service provider, however, for this call he was not available. Still received excellent service. The labor warranty was expired, so I was charged for diagnostics and part installation. I was a little dismayed with the cost of the repair to this relatively new tankless water heater, but I did not complain too much due to all the good will I have with this company for its excellent service, and on a couple occasions, over and beyond the required service.

One of the two bibs were replaced. Other bib had a vacuum break and a splitter that led to a garden hose and a automatic pool filler. The tech removed the vacuum breaker and the splitter and said the bib was fine. He sent me pictures of the old parts and told me to go to Home Depot to buy the replacement parts?! I did so and after installation I noticed a small leak from the pool filler side. I thought that during removal of the splitter that the pool filler side may have damaged, being made of pvc piping. I called the company out again to evaluate and a different tech came out and informed me that the vacuum break is supposed to leak a little when the pool filler is operational. I was assessed another $59.00 service charge that I disputed with the manager. They refused to remove the fee. I paid it but feel like it was all the same job and they shouldn’t have sent me to Home Depot to complete the job they were hired to do! The manager claimed me going to Home Depot was optional and that they gave me a discount. I was never informed of the option. The initial tech had already left the house when I received the pics of old parts. I’ve deleted this company from my phone. $227 to replace one bib and take off a splitter/vacuum break. Good luck.

"I believe the part you're referring to is the "Y" connection or splitter in order to be able to connect two hoses to the hose bibb - it's a retail item and not something that we stock on our trucks. We did charge the $59 dispatch fee because it was determined that the hose bibb was functioning as it should - the vacuum breaker does drip as it's in use. This is the device that's used to prevent backflow into your drinking water supply. If the hose bibb was installed incorrectly in any way, it would have been no charge to repair, as we carry a 90 day warranty on all work performed."

Outstanding!!! For starters, the Technician showed up in the 1st hour of a 3-hour window (that's better than the cable guy). This was important to us because the leak was so severe (think Niagara Falls), we had to turn off the house water so as not to flood the kitchen. So there was no drinking water, no hand washing water, and no toilet flushing water...oops (that was starting to be a problem for me, if you get my drift). Did I mention I called in this problem during late morning of 10/01/2018 (that's a Monday)? I was given a 2 p.m. till 5 p.m. window...and like I said, the Tech showed up just before 3 p.m. He jumped right into the task at hand and improvised a plumbing solution that had our house water flowing in short order, a true all-around professional (IMHO). And the Pampering Plumber didn't charge us an arm & leg for this same-day (emergency in my mind) service. In fact, they pointed me to a $40.00 discount coupon available on Angie's List, which reduced the already reasonable price even further! I highly recommend this plumbing company. If we need a plumber in the future, The Pampering Plumber is our first call.
