Landmark Pools removed my old pool and installed a new one in 2021-2022 for over $100K. The final product was awesome and worth the 16 months it took them to finish the project (after an initial estimate of 12-14 weeks). In March I noticed that I was having to add water to the pool every few days. When the March water bill arrived it showed my water usage had more than doubled. I contacted Landmark in early April to report the possible leak, didn’t hear back. Several days later I contacted them again and was told they would check with the tech and get back, they didn’t. I contacted them the following week and was told the leak detection company would be out the following week (2 weeks after the initial call). The detection guy dove the pool and couldn’t find any leaks. He set up a bucket test to determine the rate of leakage, turned off the pump system and said he’d be back in a couple days. A week later I contacted Landmark to find out what was going on. I was told the detection company couldn’t find the leak so apparently they dropped the issue. I sent them photos of the bucket test showing a 1-inch loss of water per day. On May 1st I called Landmark and asked to speak to the GM about my concerns and frustration. The person I spoke with (Jennifer) was very nice and sympathetic but didn’t let me speak to the GM. The detection company finally came back and said they found the leak in the main drain. Next day, still leaking an inch a day. Over a week later the detection company dove the pool again and claimed the leak was in a light. Next day, down an inch. I called Jennifer again demanding a different leak person. Evan from Landmark came by a couple days later and did his own leak test which confirmed my inch a day claim. After two dives he located the leak in the handrail into the pool and finally got it stopped on May 25th, confirmed by another leak test.. By that time I had 3 months of excessive water bills (over $300 total) and had put more in than 250 pounds of salt in the pool to cover the water loss. On June 7th and 9th (more than 2 months after the initial call) I contacted Landmark to talk to the GM about reimbursement for the expenses. I was denied access to the GM, Bart O’Connell, who refused to even discuss it with me. His refusal to talk just reinforced the attitude I got from everyone at Landmark, except Evan who was great and professional. Needless to say I tell anyone who asks that they can do better and find a pool company that will standby their product and not hide from customers.

Bart and his team are truly unbelievable. I am a small business owner and understand the importance of customer service and a quality product. Landmark is really really good. I am super impressed and will be recommending them to all my friends. Thank you Bart

We asked Landmark to build a rectangular pool, 20' x 16', with about 5' of surrounding pavers. We negotiated the bid down from about $35k to $30k and signed the contract in February of 2017. Unfortunately, we were definitely placed into the "do this pool in between our big jobs" project queue. Landmark did not complete the pool until July 2017 -- 5 months after we signed. We learned that our salesperson could only influence our scheduling; he didn't control it. We learned they hold a scheduling meeting every Monday, so we started asking for updates on Monday afternoons. Communication was spotty at best. Landmark's subcontractors were mostly fine, except for Hawkins Electrical. I will not allow Hawkins back on my property. I was told by Landmark that I must install my own sub-panel, which cost me $1000. Hawkins showed up and announced (without any apparent inspection) that my sub-panel had romex and could not be used. They then wired a completely new sub panel of inferior quality and workmanship, stole tools from my workbench, put a foot through ceiling drywall, and patched a 1-inch hole in my cinder-block wall with caulking. Obviously Hawkins simply wanted to charge Landmark for extra, unnecessary work. Luckily Landmark did not pass the cost to me, but Hawkins would not return and repair/correct the damage they had done. During our contract, Landmark's founder and owner died. The head of operations called me personally to tell me there would be no interruption, etc. A nice touch and I'm sorry for their loss. Overall, Landmark's quality was fine, but the project took entirely too long and their electrical subcontractor Hawkins is, in my opinion, worthless.

We talked to four companies. Prices were they same. So sale associates showed up. Some were hard to get in touch with. Some wanted to come back multiple times. Ed Fernandez from Landmark Pools came. He was polite and to the point. He spent about 45 minutes "selling us". He made us feel like he was telling it like it is. No BS! This cost this, that cost that. This is what we will do. What you want will cost this. Done Finished. He left and I said, "that is the company". My shook her head in agreement. Everything went as planned. Landmark came and prep the pool. They did a great job. We had seen "wet - edge" and we saw "peddle tec". I think it is all the same or at least close enough. It did not matter to me. I just wanted it done correctly. It was! The Pebble Tec crew showed up and went to work. They work FAST as this coating needs to be on before it cures or it will leave a line. Damn they were fast 10 men 4 to 5 hours and gone. They were back the next day to clean and start the fill. Great job it was left 100% clean. Landmark was back the next day, as they said they would, to do some odds and end and to make sure if was even cleaner that it already was. If all contracted jobs were like this there would be no need of Angie's List or as many lawyers. I will tell anyone to use this company. If we have any problems in the future with this job. I am completely at ease that Landmark will take care of it! ** It says her that other members rely on your review to help determine if this is the right company to use. IT IS DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME LOOKING FURTHER. WE ARE VERY PICKY AND A PAIN IN THE REAR CUSTOMER, LANDMARK IS GREAT!

After finally making the decision to have an in ground pool
installed, the next big decision to be made was which pool company to
hire.  We narrowed it down to 4
companies.  After meeting with the sales
representative and learning about the manufacturer of the materials and
equipment each used and after careful evaluation and comparison of the various equipment
and prices, we decided to hire Landmark Pools.
WE MADE THE RIGHT DECISION. The project moved along timely
and was completed weeks ahead of schedule.
The on- site crews were knowledgeable, courteous and respectful.  At the end of the work day, equipment and
materials were neatly stored.  No trash
was left on the grounds.  Can?t say
enough about the owner, Pat, our sales rep, Steve, Justin, lead technician, and
the office manager, Donna ? ALL true professionals.  All four were always available to answer
questions even after hours and on weekends.
It was not uncommon to see Pat or Steve on site as the job progressed
along.    Justin and the Omni logic
wizards were awesome and again always available to this novice pool owner.  Without a doubt, the easiest construction job
we have yet to experience.
Building a Pool ? Highly Recommend the Landmark Team of Pool
Building professionals.

Bart came out to see our pool that was in need of a new finish. He was very thorough and pointed out weaknesses in the cantilever decking. He suggested cutting it off and installing a brick coping instead. I went to their location and he helped me select a tile and paver that looks simply beautiful! There was a bit of a communication issue with the subcontractor regarding the color we chose, but the issue was resolved and we are THRILLED with our new pool! The men that placed the tile and pool paver coping were meticulous with their placements and mitered cuts. I could tell they all take great pride in their work..
I was very happy that they worked with me on the color of the pebble sheen and the added glass beads so that the coloring was clean and blue looking.

I've been involved in many construction projects over the years and this one was the smoothest of all. Billy Barber was very responsive, responding to emails and calls very quickly. The project was completed on time and turned out great! I would definitely recommend Landmark Pools.

Few mistakes initially. Beach entry not put in initially and one of the lights put in wrong spot (different from the plans). I notified them of the problems when i saw them during construction. They fixed the entry however i was told the light would be fine where it was. Didn't work out that way as the light ended up being shadowed out by the curve in the freestyle pool. They made attempts to correct this with a different type of light but still with the shadow. Finally, they were going to add another light to fix the problem but were going to have to tear up the pavers and part of the pool to do this. After some back and forth over the amount, they agreed to refund the light cost rather than tearing up our lanai. I thought they handed that part well. We have enjoyed our pool. They respond quickly to any issues. The owner Pat answers phone calls and emails quickly.

They were very responsive. They came out the day after I called. They were here. They got the part. They fixed it that day. It was a $650 repair, and I got 30 days of warranty on that part. It was my only concern. The company has been always been extremely responsive to any issues I have had. The man who came out was Eddie. He was very proactive in getting the part, getting back with me, and letting me know what was going on. When I first moved in here, I have never had a pool before. We were having a torrential rainstorm, and I was worried that water would come in the house. I called them in the middle of this torrential rainstorm. They came out and standing in the rain showed me where the overflow valve was, so that I wouldn't have to worry. It is just those nice little touches that make them a good company.

Taking a pool out of your back yard and replacing it is a huge project. Ours was 30 years old and we thought it better to replace it that simply repair old problems. Landmark's owner and his staff gave us lots of personal attention during this entire project. Landmark did wonderful design work. They had numerous tiles and colors to choose from. They also provided good advice in the design and color area. They suggested a "beach entry" which is wonderful. They are highly recommended. I will add that I don't know anyone in their company other than having done business with them. This is my honest evaluation.

Very professional. All options were explained in detail. The contract specified everything that was included. They worked with me to finalize a plan to my liking. The pool was swimable in approximately 5 weeks (pool, mechanical and deck without the finish or enclosure). They cleaned up when they were done. I was unhappy with the deck surface and they worked with me to complete it to my satisfaction. Phone calls were returned promptly. I would definetly recommend them to my friends and use them again if I were going to build another pool.

From the day they dug the hole until the day they filled the pool, this was the most stress free construction project we have ever experienced. They even took the time to knock on neighbors doors to ask permission to park their heavy equipment out front and always swept up after themselves. The pool came out gorgeous and honestly exceeded our expectations. Our next plan is to have them back to install a pool heater.

Excellent - close to on time, on budget, and I got a wonderful pool. I especially liked that they have all their own work teams (except for electrical and concrete) which allows them to better schedule work. There were a couple small changes along the way that they didn't rape me on, and I felt the quality of their work was very good. Incidentally, I bid the project to 2 other similar quality pool companies, and actually got close to contract with one of the other companies. I went back to Landmark when the other company's bid inflated enormously due to some tile selections. Lesson learned: although Landmark's initial bid was slightly higher than their competitors, the final bid was much lower.

From the design process to the final inspection, Landmark did an excellent job. Someone was always available to answer questions. They worked well with other subcontractors I had doing other projects at the site. I know this company is not the cheapest, but everyone in a related industries advised me that I would not have any problems with a pool built by Landmark.

THE JOB HAS BEEN COMPLETED AND THE POOL IS VERY NICE BUT WE HAD OTHER COMMUNICATION DIFFICULTIES AND WOULD LIKE FOR OUR INITIAL REPORT TO STAND AS IS.
Response from Landmark Pools Inc
"Original drawing submitted to customer on 6/23/04; Quotation on 7/22. Received accepted contract on 8/4. We made the changes that they wanted on our original plan & started permit process. The permit process takes anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks. Once we have submitted to Florida Power we wait for a letter stating that there is no conflict with power lines. Once we receive the letter we can then proceed to the building department to obtain the permit. The permit was issued on 8/25. The work was started shortly after receiving the permit and at this time we have maintained the schedule according to the list enclosed (on file). We should be able to complete the pool by the 1st week in October if all materials are available. All of this work has been accomplished in spite of three hurricanes."

"Spoke with Landmark's owner, Patrick. He stated that it was pretty much like Murphy's Law. They installed the member's pool over 4 years ago. When they had fixed one problem, something else would go wrong, and the member needed them to come out again. The technician, who originally helped the member, was in the hospital for a week, which made the dates for repair to be pushed back. Patrick didn't know about the situation until he had received a letter from the member stating what had happened. The problem was fixed and completed not with in the time frame that was needed but with in two weeks. Company does recognize the lack of customer service that was needed."
