1.) The website indicates that their store is open on Saturday from 10a - 3p. We took time out of day to drive there, only to find that the two salesmen (Charlie and Tim) were not there. A nice lady named Tonya assisted us and informed us that granite and counter tops start at $30 per sq ft installed. We were looking for something reasonable - such as corian or something more inexpensive such as a remnant. She informed us that the remnant pieces help cut costs and that we could go and see what was out back, but she could not help us any further with pricing etc, but would mark any pieces that we like in order to hold them- we were looking for a black piece of granite or corian for an area that is 42" by 25 1/2" (approx 4ft x 2ft totaling 8 sq ft). She took our name and number and informed us that Tim would call us on Monday
2.) On Monday, no one called. On Tuesday, I placed 3 phone calls and left a message on one of the calls asking to speak with Tim and informing them on the message that things did not look like they were off to a good start and perhaps I should go elsewhere if no one was interested in returning my call. Tim called later that day around 4:07p, but I missed the call
3.) I returned Tim's call on Wednesday morning and was able to tell him that I was the lady who stopped in on Saturday where Tonya had left a note for him regarding remnants and that my job was a small job which was about 4ft x 2ft. I had to ask him what the next steps were in which he informed me that they would need to come out and he could set up a time. I inquired about the price first
4.) When I inquired about a ball park price, Tim informed me that it would cost me $700 for the material installed with everything. Now we are talking about 8 sq ft of granite or whatever material those remnants were. One did not appear to look like granite. Tim asked me no questions about the remnant materials that were left with notes on them to determine which one I wanted- there were 2 different used slabs that we had selected and intended to go with one, but how he came up with that price without discussing the remnants is beyond me. When I called back to inform him that $700 was a lot in comparison to others, he told me that I should buy it elsewhere if I found it cheaper. When I asked how he arrived at that price, he told me it is $50 per sq ft. I informed him that the lady mentioned $30 per sq ft starting for those in the showroom that were brand new. He asked me what I meant by 'brand new' and said all of the granite was brand new including the remnants out in the back.
BEWARE - this company is out to take financial advantage of people who are new in the market and do not do their research on materials. We have purchased lots of granite for our home before, and never paid this price for an area so small. All other places we have shopped thus far have given us the price with cut and installation included. I informed Tim that I would be reviewing him on Angies List. He then had Charlie call me who left a message asking for a chance to rectify this. People please be aware. Your service is always based on the experience of your initial contact and through out. This company could not even make it out of the gate, and they want a chance for me to give them an opportunity to rectify it - they lost my trust from the on-start. I am writing this review to help others to be aware of how this company operates, and I will share this with the neighbors in the neighborhood where I live. Please do your research

Let me first start off by saying my name is Brian Henriquez not Sharon.
What a horrible experience! Being in the construction trade myself and knowing how bad these reviews can hurt a company, I tried every possible way I could think of to let them correct the issues before posting this review. Having said that, let me go into detail on how bad this experience was.
The consultation with estimator went fine. He gave us a price which we accepted and after that it all went down hill. They sent us to a place in Tampa off of Hillsborough to pick out our granite. Having chosen the price for a level 1 granite we searched but could not find one that we liked. We then found a level 3 on clearance that was perfect and it was marked at the level one price. Once we sent them the granite, International Granite and Stone (IGS) told me that it didn't matter that it was on Clearance and that there is still an upcharge. I don't remember the exact amount but I want to say it was in the $500 range.
OK, I agreed and then paid half of the total install price before they even lifted a finger. I was told I would have to pay the remainder before they cut the granite. So, here we are having paid 100% of the contract price before the granite is even installed. In my business I would be laughed at if I approached business that way but I put it on my CC with the mindset that I could just cancel it on the card if things didn't pan out.
We were told 2 weeks to cut it and to install it. 3 weeks goes by, no call. 4 weeks goes by, no call. Ok, now its time to call them. They use an offsite answering service so you never get a hold of anyone you want to speak to when you call. The service leaves the intended recipient a message and then they call you back. Not sure if its the answering service or the staff but no one ever calls back. After 5 or 6 attempts we received a call and proceeded to schedule a couple of days before Easter which we were hosting at our house. They make it very clear in their contract that YOU must remove all the appliances because they are not responsible for damaging them. So I did that before they were scheduled to arrive. On the day of the scheduled install 9am rolls around, no sign of the installers, 10am no installers, 11 am still no installers. They WILL NOT GIVE YOU EVEN AN ETA but after 11 I had my wife start calling. OH, HERES THE BEST PART, THE MAIN REASON I CHOSE THEM WAS BECAUSE THEY ARE LOCATED 500 YARDS FROM MY HOUSE. Here we go with the answering service again. 3 calls to them with no call back until 3pm. When they finally called back they then said they were not coming on that day. My wife is not happy having wasted her day waiting for them only so they could insult her by saying "You should have called us and we would have told you that earlier." Now she is fuming having known that she called 3 times during the day waiting for a phone call. That day is now wasted, we'll try the install on another day. But first, let me re-install all the appliances so we can make it through the holiday weekend.
Here comes Sunday evening and they are scheduled to install the next day. Let me remove the appliances again.
They finally show up on that Monday. The installers were good - i'll give them that. When talking to the installers about the administration he agrees with me that they are not worth a darn and he gets complaints all the time. HA! They get half don't that day and because the cuts are wrong he has to come back and finish the following day. What's another day right? The installer finishes the job but has to make a few more splices because the cuts were off. He tells the VP to call me because I'm very upset and that I should be given a discount because of the extra splices.
A week goes by and I finally hear from the VP. After a lengthy conversation and me saying i'm not looking for a discount and him saying, " Is there anything I could do?",  I finally figured a way he could help. I told him I didn't want anything for free but we do need knobs for our cabinets and since they have a cabinet division maybe he could give me a break on the knobs and handles. Again, I do not want it for free. He agreed and once again my wife went back into their store to pick out knobs this time.
The VP gave us a price via email which I responded "approved" the same day.
2 weeks go by and I hear nothing so I send an email because now I can respond to an email address since the phone calling does not work. No reply, 3 weeks goes by and now we're calling again but about the knobs this time. Never got a call after no less than 3 calls. I send one last email to the VP stating that the problems are back again and now he is part of it. That was a week ago.
I STILL HAVE HEARD NOTHING AND DON'T INTEND TO. WE ARE GETTING ARE KNOBS AND HANDLES SOMEWHERE ELSE. IF YOU WANT THE SAME PROBLEMS, GO AHEAD AND USE THEM.

My designer recommended these people. The response from the service manager was horrible and he refused to honor the warranty and the fact that the granite was cracked. He offer me instead a "better" deal for the bathroom granite.
I refused, and replaced the granite with another vendor.
I wished i have had access to angie's list before i wasted my time and money on these people.

We had visited the showroom to look at granite early on, and had a horrible experience with Charlie. He told us he would have granite pulled for us to look at and would call us the next day to let us know it was done. He never called, and I called 3 or 4 times, with no answer, and no return call. I finally went there a day or so later, and he blew smoke about being so busy... So I rescheduled, and he promised he would take care of it. Same thing a few days later. I called and asked for someone else, and told her my story, only to have the same experience with her (later found out she and Charlie were living together) The only reason I kept trying is they had a really nice peice of granite that was hidden and they were going to pull it for us. I finally went up one last time, and got Jay -who was great... unfortunately, by then the slab was gone, and so we searched elsewhere...
They had suggested a place in Orlando for exotic stone. We went there, bought an amazing slab that had absolutely gorgeous markings on one side in particular, and it cost us $2,200, but was worth it because of the coloration and markings...they shipped to IGS to fabricate and install. We also ended up buying a second slab through IGS, as well. Jay had someone come out and take measurements, etc. He was fantastic. But then, unfortunately for all of us, Jay had to go to the hospital just as we were to sign paperwork. So we sat down with Charlie, reluctantly. By then, they had our slabs, and the measurements, so I thought "What could go wrong?" Answer: EVERYTHING!! First of all the contract is very one-sided (in their favor), but Charlie tried his best to just get me to sign pages...claiming it was late and he had to leave... so much so that he didn't let me read them, or even initial all spaces. Unfortunately, he did make sure I signed a page that was their disclaimer basically stating if they screw anything up, its not their fault. Charlie told me that the contract in general didn't apply for the one that we bought elsewhere, since it was exotic, and we sat down with him to draw out the template for an exact layout for cutting the slab because we wanted to showcase the amazing pattern.  Over an over we emphasized the layout, and even tried to mark on the slab with a wax pen, but he said, no, we have a photo system that lays out an exact template and explained there was no way the slab would be cut differently. We reviewed the template layout on the slab and approved it as we wanted it. 2 weeks later it was to be installed. 5 weeks later it was. When the installers came, we immediately noticed the most unique part of the slab was cut off!!!
The installers said it was too heavy to get back on truck, so they called Charlie, and passed the phone to us. He fumbled around and tried making excuses. We asked that they come out and look at it - we are only 5 minutes from them. He said no, but he'd talk to their manager, Mike. He did call, and asked us to come in. We did, and he showed us the print we approved with the layout, and admitted they made a mistake and didn't cut it right. I told them I had been waiting for weeks, and my building permit was about to expire, so I said what I would ideally want is for them to install the slab, so we could get sink in for final permit, and then they needed to buy the same slab from Orlando, and reinstall the new one, and take this one out. He said he'd talk to the owner, and let us know, but would have the granite and sink installed. The next answer came - the contract says we can change the layout, so we wont do anything. I went there to discuss, and asked for the supposed damaged sink cutout, and other leftover peices (which Charlie promised we would get, as they were large enough for a hearth). He said they "discarded them", I was very upset to say the least, and asked for the owner. He told me he wasn't available and that I need to leave, and call back for Charlie, that it was Charlie I need to talk to. Charlie called and offered me $1,000 credit for future work for the mistake. That is insult to injury. First of all, I don't need more granite, and if I did, I surely would never go back to them. Remember, we paid $2200 for the one slab, and $4450 for the other and the fabrication/install. Then we had another reputable firm come out and quote us to repair some other Pits and cracks IGS said they would fill with epoxy. He pointed out the corner of the other slab had been broken off and they just glued it back on. He also quoted us on filling the pits and cracks, and said they should have done it. We still have no resolution, so I am hoping no one else gets taken by these guys. I agree with the other review - Dont let the showroom fool you. STAY AWAY

Lots of styles to choose from. Very friendly sales staff. We went to look for item that was discontinued. Got a great deal for kitchen
countertops . Placed order and was installed 8 days later. Looks great!
Jay (salesman) was prompt and very informative on the process. No surprises. Would use them again.

We purchased our countertops through IKEA due to a kitchen sale. International Granite & Stone is the contractor for IKEA. Once our cabinets were installed we called the company and they came out to do the template. They arrived on time for the templating and everything seemed okay. I was very concerned seeing all the negative reviews but at that point we had already paid for the counters.
After about 2 weeks we did not receive any phone calls from the company. I actually called the company to find out the status on our counters and we were told they could be installed in the next day or two. This obviously told me that the countertops were finished but noone bothered to call and schedule the install. The install went okay but the quality is of a much lower quality than you will find in the showroom. The sink cutout does not look as polished and there are spots on the edges that did not get polished as much as others giving it a rougher texture. Also to note is that they do not use clips to install the sink. I have not seen any company use only silicone to mount an undermount sink so there is some concern as to the longevity of the install.
A small window sill was supposed to be installed which they forgot but were able to come within the week to install it. It has been about 2 months since our install and I haven't had any problems but now that I have had more time with the counters it is easy to see that the quality of their work is substandard compared to other granite and quartz companies in the area.
I wouldn't go with this company in the future as there are plenty of other options with much better craftsmanship in the area.

DO NOT BE MISLED BY THE FANCY SHOWROOM THEY HAVE.  Everything goes downhill from there.  Charlie, service manager does not return phone calls.  You only get an answering service and unless you show up in person you can not get answers to your concerns.    I was given several dates for installation and thus began my nightmare...Let's see, saw was no working, they couldn't cut my granite and then all other jobs backed up, no install guys, the list goes on and on.  My installation is fair at best but hopepfully the errors they made I have been able to hide.  Undercounter sink that I purchased from them was dented and they installed it anyway and neither installer seemed to notice until I pointed it out.  There is absolutely NO customer service...just empty promises.FUTURE GRANITE PURCHASERS....please heed the warning...shop elsewhere.

Project took over a month due to empoyees not returning calls and installers not showing up on time . No one from the sales people to the installers seem to care about anything. When you call you get an answering service which I guess is by design. I wouldn't want to answer all those calls from angry customers either. All you need to do is read the recent reviews from this company.

Horrible experience!! The showroom usually opens late on the weekends if the staff has been out drinking the night before, twice we went there on a saturday trying to finish our design and granite, but the doors were still locked until the staff made it to work with a hangover, or overslept because they were too drunk and forgot to unlock the warehouse doors. The un-professional, salesmanager Charlie, will promise customers the world, until he gets your money! They offer "Cash Discounts" so you think your getting a deal, yet, all you end up with is, undependable and unreliable service! The installers were 4hours late to start with because Charlie overbooked the day. The previous customer kept calling the installers when they showed up at our job, crying and screaming that her job wasn't finished. They nicked our newly textured walls, that will cost us $300 to fix, I was also told by management that the owner of this company doesn't care about the customers satisfaction because, "He is VERY rich, and doesn't care about customer problems or complaints." We had to pick up and install our own stainless backsplash over the stove because the incompetent salesmanager gave the fabricator the wrong install date, and did not even tell the installers they needed to pick up and install the stainless backsplash, When trying to inquire about where the installers were, the day of our install, We were hung up on several times by this Charlie sales-manager, however, we had the pleasure of speaking with another employee in the building, who stated this guy Charlie does this to customers all the time! Quality of workmanship is poor, you can see all the seams and there are chips in our countertops, pattern in granite does not flow, Installers left the place a mess and did not clean up after themselves! Needless to say they lost a $30,000-$50,000 install of a family member and a close friend just from our experience, BUT, since the owner is so RICH, I guess he didn't need the business anyway!! Would not recommend this company ever!!

The countertop has a seam, which was approved on the drawings. The actual seam is more like a gap and extremely noticable because it is opposite a window which makes the dull (filler) they installed to fill the gap really stick out. The top is black and shiney. Also the seam looks perpendicular on the drawing but appears to be at a slight angle. If the seam was on the otherside of the counter it would not be in the light and would not show up. I feel they are the seasoned professionals and when theydesigned the plan they should have realized the light situation. When we complained they sent two men to "work" on the seam. But it did not help. After that the management refused to return phone calls. We have a warranty for the counter and there are several other gouges in the material that we have not had fixed because of the rude attitude of the people at this company. A warning to others there is small print that says the money is 90% non-refundable when you sign the contract. BEWARE.

The quality of work was really bad. They cut the wrong holes in the granite, and they cracked a sink. It was a terrible, botched up job. One of the pieces of granite they installed had a crack in it. I wouldn?t want anyone to do business with them. It was just terrible.

I was very disappointed with the lack of professionalism and the "screw you" attitude I got from IGS regarding my warranty issue. I was hoping to engage IGS in a dialog regarding this issue. We built our dream home and are very happy the the appearance of the counter tops that were installed. The warranty for every vendor that worked on our home started on the day we moved into the home, not on the day the work was completed. I was under the impression that IGS had the same warranty structure. Apparently, the warranty for their work started on the day the work was performed, not the day we took occupancy. IGS NEVER returned my numerous calls to explain this too me. Had they returned my call, I would have been happy to pay them, after all, it's kind of difficult to run a modern home without a sink in the kitchen.

Very friendly and helpful in the showroom, however the second time we went there to look, they were 1-2 hours late opening, which was inconvenient. When they came out to measure, we were impressed by the laser-guided measuring device which made their job go much faster and was more accurate. The installation went well. The only problem we had was that my wife wanted a certain type of cut, called a reveal, around the kitchen sink. We purposely purchased a sink (paying $200 more for it, from a plumbing supply company) that was recommended when you wanted the sinks edge to show underneath the granite counter. We repeatedly told them that we wanted the granite cut that way. My wife even called specifically to make sure that is the way it was going to be cut and was assured that it would be cut that way. When the installers came and put it in, it had not been cut as ordered, which was very disappointing. Although the installer offered to take everything out and have it re-cut, it would have meant having our kitchen turned upside down for who knows how long. Besides they were almost completely finished at that point, so we just let it go. I feel like the company should have at least offered us something in the way of consolation for their mistake (when we called to ask them, they had my wife's call and request for the reveal cut noted in their records), possibly crediting us to make up for the $200 extra I had spent to make sure I had the right sink for the reveal cut, particularly since it would have probably cost them more than that if they were to have taken the piece back to re-cut it, but they offered nothing. Aside from that, we are very pleased with the way the counters turned out.

I felt that the back splash should have been taller and had a better finish on it. The sink holes were not cut when they had promised. The people in the office were friendly and knowledgeable, but it was the product that was found wanting. I feel that I could have had a better product.
