It didn't go very well. They didn't clean the air conditioning evaporator coil, they just looked inside. They did some other things but I expected them to clean it. I had to clean it myself. The price was okay. I expected that kind of price for that kind of maintenance call for my air conditioner. I can't judge the quality because they didn't do a standard cleaning of the evaporator coils. They responded very well. We had had other companies clean the evaporator coils but they didn't do it. That is the why I gave them a B.

Called this morning and technician showed up in about 30 minutes. Reviewed problem and checked out side unit. Found bad capacitor and replaced. Air working in about 30 minutes. Nice  technician who was polite and neat. I would call them again with and air/heating problems.

Max Air Heating and Air Conditioning are superior contractors in all respects.  I found them on Angie's List. I contacted and interviewed 3 other contractors, two working for Lowes and Home Depot. All were over-priced and installation contractors were NOT located in the Ocala area. I talked with local major facility managers and found that proper installation, reputation of the installer, and availability of parts/service are more important than cost of the unit being installed. Max Air exceeded all  my expectations. They are a customer-first, service first organization.  From first communication through installation, the work was first class and cost very reasonable. I highly recommend Max Air Heating and Air Conditioning. Excellent Air and Heating Contractor in all respects.            

Bryce first came on Dec 30 and checked out my a/c which was not operating properly. He discovered that the motor was frozen up and so arranged to come back the next morning after giving it time to defrost. He returned the next morning and found that the motor needed to be replaced. He replaced it and got my air running again. 
This occurred during a time when we were having record high temperatures for December and I  was suffering from the heat inside the house.  I needed relief as soon as possible. Bryce's efficiency, professionalism and courtesy was greatly appreciated. I have been taken advantage of by another vendor in the past and am very glad to report how happy I am with the honest, caring and fair way I was treated this time.

A/C went out on Christmas day while cooking turkey.....so I contacted these folks and they made an appt to come the day after Christmas The repairman showed up on time and within 5 minutes told me my capacitor failed and needed replaced.  He did the job within 30 minutes and I was back having cooler air almost immediately.  He made sure the unit was okay, including checking the freon and told me I was good to go.  Two things impressed me greatly.....that he responded the day after Christmas (a Saturday) on time, and that he informed me of the problem and had it fixed in literally minutes.   In addition he was professional and friendly and cleaned up after himself.  They will be my "go-to" a/c folks from now on. I highly recommend these folks to everyone.

My experience was positive.  They were prompt is calling me back to schedule a appointment the next day (sooner than I thought they could come).  Two guys came and were very professional and polite.  They told what was happening and how to maintain going forward. Fixed the issue with my upstairs unit by cleaning out the line and completed a diagnostics on both units.  We just purchased the house and could tell the units were a little older and not maintained well.  The diagnostic gave us a lot more confidence in the AC/Heating for now.   Thanks Guys.

Went well.

They did a very good job.

They arrived on time, fix the a/c and the bill was fair.

asked them over in august to discuss annual maintenance. they recommended twice yearly checkups before winter and before summer. came on time first and second time. installed their promised gadget as requested, again on time.

The technician was excellent and informed me of all that he was doing.  He was efficient and I felt the cost was fair.

It wasn't very bad. They did the job but we're still experiencing the same problem. The company was fine. The gentleman that came in was a young man. My parents were home and they said that he was respectful, did his job and was good. The price was good.

The cost was reasonable. Their punctuality was good.

Service was awesome, got a call to schedule an appointment about 20 minutes after I purchased on Angie's List.  Appointment was made for 48 hours later. Service Tech was prompt and diagnosed our HVAC problem within a few minutes, gave my wife and I a short list of preventative methods for the future and left our A/C working better then ever.  Thanks Max-Air and Angie's List!
