It went very well. The technician (David) was very knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. Will definitely ask for him again when we need to call Max-Air.

We are satisfied with the service they provided. They came out to see our unit after I saw white smoke or steam come from the outdoor unit. I thought the compressor went out and we prepared ourselves for the bill. The technician came out and inspected our unit. He spent a good time checking everything and came back with good news. He said the steam came from the defrost feature on the unit. He changed the defrost timer and made sure everything else was working. We used our Angie's List coupon.

I needed an early appointment so I would not miss work. The Service Tech was at my house exactly as scheduled! I was expecting the worse because my a/c unit is 14 years old and ice was on the compressor and cooling lines. The technician replaced a contact unit and the total cost was right at $100. Works great and hopefully will make it another season!

I had attempted to install the thermostat myself, but ran into trouble. I called Max-Air and the person taking the call was very courteous. A service person was at my door within 30 minutes and had the thermostat installed and working within 40 min. I was very pleased with the promptness and the cost of the service. I will use Max-Air in the future and highly recommend them, based on my experience.

Performed evaluation for A/C replacement. Provided numerous price options. Explained in lay terms the reasons behind their evaluation/recommendations and answered numerous questions W/O the typical sales rhetoric. Performed the installation on time and at cost (no hidden fees). These guys know their trade and get it done with professional quality.

Dennis came out soon after I called, and led me in the right direction to see what I could do about the last a/c guy who installed my unit. Everything was wrong and Dennis got me headed in the right direction to make it right. Don't ever use Tim Winston heat/air out of tampa. I will use Max-air in the future.

Max-Air has been patiently maintaining and servicing my 25 year old system for some time now. The compressor finally gave out and Max-Air offered to replace just the compressor to try and save me some money. However I opted to replace the entire system. The price was very very reasonable. They came with a three man crew the next morning and had it all done shortly after noon. They even rebuilt the wood base under the evaporator unit inside the house as it had been wet several times from the old unit. I have been very happy with their service since i first found them here on Angie's list and highly recommend them.

They did a good job with the work. They were straight forward and didn’t try to sell me more than I needed. Overall, it was a good experience.

I hired them because they were recommended to me by someone who I trust. Both times, they have been polite and efficient. The cost as reasonable and I have no problems with them at all.

The work turned out great. The owner completed the work. They were dependable, came out when they were supposed to, and did exactly what they said they would do. They did a clean, nice job.

Everything was fine! We moved into this house last November and decided to have an inspection done. In December, they came out to check our air conditioner and we ended up purchasing an inspection for June . By June, we had forgotten all about the prepaid inspection when the time came around. They actually called us to schedule the appointment without us reaching out to them. Their prices were also in same ballpark with other companies.

I started using Max-Air after he was recommended to me by a neighbor about 5 years ago. Dennis is the owner and operator of his company. He is very great, responsive, and reasonably priced. I highly recommend him to others.

They arrived at my residence within about four hours of my call. First they evaluated my a/c to find the problem. I had a leaks in several parts of the copper between the condenser and the furnace. The service tech. Called the owner Dennis and they gave me an estimate to have the work completed. This was Friday afternoon and hot and my A/C was inoperative. Dennis had his tech. tell me they would return Friday evening when they completed their service calls and complete my repairs. There were no hidden charges for overtime or materials etc. These were great people to work with and a rare breed for central Florida. They have my business and I might add this is the first time I have used Angieslist. I would not do another project around my house without Angie ... Money we'll spent both ways. Thanks ... Well, first I looked up on Angie's list and found Max-Air. Within an hour I had an email and then a call from the company. At the time I was waiting to hear from my usual a/c company. My a/c company came out but the problem was not fixed.So this morning, like Max-Air promised, they called me. I spoke to Gina, who was so nice and really knowledgeable. I told her my other a/c company was going to call me at 8:00 a.m. and I would call her back. Well 9:00 a.m. came and no call. I called Gina back and she scheduled me an appt at 11-1 today. Sure enough at 11:01 a.m here comes Max-Air. The service techs, Kevin and Dave, were great. They checked the unit over and vacumned out the drain line and even tested the freon, the amps, and my air filter. All for 1/3 of what the other a/c company charged me the night before, and the unit still leaked!!! What a great find. Now Max-Air is my new a/c company. God bless them and you too Angie's list.

Men arrived promptly worked quickly, neatly and efficiently, and completed the job $250 under original estimate.

Woke up hot and smelling burning plastic in A/C duct. Turned off A/C and checked Angie's List for A/C repair. Read great reviews for Max-Air so I took a chance and called them. Very nice lady on the phone told me she could have someone at my house the same day. She called back later and told me she could have someone there this morning. Within an hour I had a great service guy at my house diagnosing the problem. He had a replacement part with him and had my A/C back up and running before the morning sun got too hot. Can't beat that. He was very professional and knowledgeable. I asked him numerous questions about my aging A/C unit and he had all the answers and was very honest. A rarity these days. Bottom line: Honest, fast, knowledgeable and fair price. Can't ask for more than that.

The problem was quickly diagnosed, and non-functioning parts were replaced. Technician was extremely courteous and professional. Cost was very reasonable, and I will definitely use these people again!

Service was provided the same day I called for service, and technician arrived at the scheduled time. He was totally professional and courteous, and answered all questions. Total time needed to make repairs was about 30 minutes, and the cost was extremely reasonable. I will definitely use these people again!

it turned out to be a blown fuse. it actually happened twice, but they did not charge us after the initial visit. great people, great customer service, very professional. I cannot say enough about how happy we were with this company. I will never use any other A/C company!!!!

My sister and I rent out a property in Ocala, FL. The air conditioning was not working properly in the home. I check Angie's List for a reputable company and called up Max Air. THAT VERY SAME day, actually just a couple hours after my call, they were able to go out to the home. We truly were fortunate as Max Air was in the area at the time I called. They went over to the home, inspected the unit outside and checked the lines inside. Come to find out, everything was gunked up. The Max Air gentleman cleaned everything out and showed the renter how to maintain the line. Very nice gentleman, friendly and thorough. Because of the friendliness of all the people I spoke with at Max Air, the responsiveness and concern for our situation, we have decided to have them out to the house every 6 months to check the unit and lines. A huge thank you to Angie's List and Max Air.... being 8 hours away, you have put our minds at ease and we know we can depend on both of you!

The technician responded to our call within 24 hours. He was courteous and very professional. We thought the cost would be higher and we were very pleased with the final bill as he was here for at least 2 1/2 hours.

They're outstanding and very knowledge. The price is excellent. They're one of the best air conditioning company and I'd like to keep them. The technician who came here was very punctual. He checked the heating part and the outside unit. There's a little bit of clearing out of the duct. He explained to us what we can do on a monthly basis to keep it clear. He did a great job and he didn't try to overcharge. I would definitely use him in the future.

Absolutely great service. The tech had to replace a condensor and, because he didn't have one in the truck call for backup and the owner came out. They also looked over our fuel recovery system while on the call, found and issue and had us fully operational within 30 minutes. Great service and we'd definitely use them again.
