Mr. Goldman found that the problem with our refrigerator was a cup that was blocking the vent. He also checked the motor and moved it slightly. We were very pleased and now the refrigerator is not as noisy. He only charged for the service call and even gave us a discount.!!

The repairman discovered that the thermostat was broken. He remarked that the part was expensive, around $130, and that his company would order the part and let us know when it got in. After a week with no word from Goldman, we called. We were told the part was back ordered and wouldn't be in for a couple of weeks. After a month with no word, we starting calling weekly. We were consistently told the part was back ordered. After two months, when we were told to expect another 2 week delay, we decided to call ULine directly. The part was in stock, and had always been in stock. The cost was $30. ULine sent the part which arrived the following day. We contacted a different company (MD Appliance Service) to Install the part and they came the next day. We were very pleased with MD Appliance. How is it that Goldman could not acquire the part, when we had it delivered to our door in less than 24 hours? A repair that should have taken 48 hours dragged out to over two months. I also wonder if in fact we would have been charged $130 for a part that cost $30.

We requested service from another provider and they never showed up for a scheduled appointment. Then requested Lowes to setup another appointment with a different provider (Goldman). Tech showed up on time and made the necessary repairs. I would definitely recommend them.

Replace defective parts, give thorough explanations on taking care of and maximizing use of dishwasher, like cleaning filter regularly. Dishwasher works perfectly now!

Mike quickly determined the dishwasher had a broken pump. He said he could repair it but it would cost almost as much as a new one. We really appreciated his honestly. He also taught us a lot about appliances and how many crooks there are in the business of making them. He shorten the vent hose on our dryer and cleaned it out. It works better but not great. He said it might need a new filament. He said the washer and refrigerator were fine. Because we had the Angie's list discount, he only charged us $50.00, a real bargain. Thanks Mike!

Excellent! Goldman Appliances did an outstanding job! Would definitely recommend! The lady who set the service appointment was very professional and friendly. The technician called ahead of time and arrived within the appointment window. He was very friendly, professional and clean in appearance. He went right to work, performed the repair as we requested. Our eight year-old dryer works as good as new and the charge was less than expected. Great service!

Called Goldman Appliances the week of Aug 10th about a problem with washer. Lady told me the earliest appt would be Tuesday the 15th. Service Tech called on the 14th letting me know he would be out early on the 15th. He arrived shortly before 8 AM, inspected the machine and let me know what was wrong (which verified our suspicions ) He said they would order the part same day and it would take about two days. On Thursday, 18th he came back and installed the part. The over all experience was great. Everyone was very professional, prompt and personable. Very pleased.

As soon as I got the part, I called them. They unfortunately had a family emergency and were not able to come, but they referred me to another company. They were very nice and polite on the phone, and were working with me every step of the way until then.

Did not go well. The Tech said it was un-repairable. I needed a new dryer. I could use the service charge as a deposit for a new one.
I would have to go to Ocala to see their dryers. Ocala is 35 miles away.
Anyway, I think he broke it. I think I pre-paid the for the parts which did not work. I think he didn't know much about FP products.
I think Fisher Paykel was wrong to recommend Goldman's Appliances to repair it.
Dont pre-pay for parts, or anything until it works.

Phil checked out my gas cook top and told me I probably would want to replace it as the cost to fix it would be close to the price of a new cook top. He left after that. Professional and quick. Phil seemed to know his business.
I feel the cost for that amount of time spent was a little high but professional costs seem to run high and he did have travel time.
