They were fast, friendly and cost efficient. Vintage air isn't always the easiest system to shove into a car that didn't come with it standard, but Ace did a great job. So much so that when my BIL's truck needed work and my MIL's car needed work (not vintage) we took them there. For my BIL's truck it was general maintenance and my MIL needed AC work done. These were more recent fixes, in the past year/year and half. They were great fixing my BIL's truck for a good price but my MIL was able to get her AC fixed elsewhere for half the cost. I don't know why that was but when she asked us where she should take her car to get the AC serviced, Ace was the first place we suggested. We will continue to return there for service on our vehicles, even though we no longer own the '65 leak bucket...er I mean Mustang! I feel that overall their quality of work, speed and cost are very good. I recommend them all the time.

They were very quick with the service. They recommend other maintenance services but they do not push it. James Owen is very informative and the price quoted is the price you pay. I will continue to use them and will recommend them to others.

I have already submitted a review for an earlier repair. Same this time - excellent work.

Fine. They informed me that after their diagnosis, they would need more time. So I came back the next work day. The work was performed as I waited buried in a new book I was anxious to read.

Our 1999 Subaru normally stays in the Northeast where we seldom use its air conditioning. June 2011 we drove the car to Florida. On the way we discovered the air conditioning was working minimally. Ace Auto Air ran tests and informed us we had serious coolant leaks. The service desk manager said the components were sealed and could not be repaired. He then pulled out from under the counter one by one a series of system component examples and said we needed all of them. I found it unusual that he was prepared with all these components already under the counter ready for show and tell.

The estimate, as I recall, ran to over twelve hundred dollars. I said I did not want to spend that amount on a 12 year old car for an air conditioning we would use only briefly while in Florida and seldom up north. I asked them to check further. After a delay of well over an hour the shop owner came out and affirmed the car needed all that work, and for an additional amount we could extend the service guarantee for an additional year.

I told him I had read that cars normally lost a percentage of coolant over time. This car was 12 years old and the system had never been serviced. I told him just top off the coolant and we will see what happens. He assured us there was a serious leak and this fix likely would not last. We waited another hour while coolant was being added and paid $86 (not $1200) and over three hours of our time for the initial test and the added coolant.

Almost a year later the air conditioning system continues to run fine.

I have used them for around ten years. They are very good and very honest. Their prices are decent and they guarantee their work. I will continue to use them in the future.

Regrettably my wife and I who know nothing about cars, bought this Taurus a couple of years ago and it turned out to be a real lemon. We could not afford to replace it, so on recommendation from a friend we took it to Ace. They have worked on it on a number of occasions fixing various problems, and although it was painful spending more money, we knew from the start that we were getting top quality advice and workmanship. Everything that they do or wish to do is explained in great detail and the estimates are thorough and accurate. They have even said to me that the next time we buy a car we should let them look at it first!!
