The only other person I had contact with at Top Dog was Roslyn, who arranged the appointment and guided me through the process. She was just as nice as Jerimi. I was a total stranger to her but she went out of her way to reassure me that I would receive a complete review of the status of the electrical system in my home.
If you need any type of electrical work done at your home or business, don't hesitate to contact Top Dog Electric.

I called Top Dog after reading the reviews on Angie's List.
From the first person I spoke with, Roslyn, to Guy who came out for the estimate and the workers who did the job, Jeremy and Brian, They were all very professional and did exceptional work.
They showed up on time and completed the job in the time they allotted.
The permitting and inspection went smoothly.
The quality of their work is fantastic, The wiring in the panel is very neat and organized.
I will definitely use them again and would recommend them to anyone looking for an Electrician.
The price was very fair for the quality of work.
I highly recommend them.

I happened to mention my dilemma while at my dentist's office. They told me about Top Dog and how pleased they are with their expertise. They have done a lot of work in their offices and found Guy and Jerimi to be very knowledgeable, pleasant, professional,,and their rates are very reasonable. Now that's a combination you can't beat.
I contacted Top Dog through Angie's List, Roslyn called me and told me that their fee is $75 per hour and we set up an appointment. Jerimi arrived right on time and got straight to work. He found that the fixture had not been mounted securely to the ceiling so he first installed a box and then hung the fixture from that. He got it to work even with the original dimmer switch, but I asked him to install a new one anyway.
I too was impressed by his competence and pleasant manner. And the bill came to $110 for parts and labor. I had paid the first electrician $129.
Before he left I asked his advice on a number of other projects I am going to call Top Dog to do in the near future.
"I am very happy were able to fix your ongoing Electrical problem. It was our pleasure serving you. Roslyn Castranova Customer Relations/Service Manager Top Dog Electric"
This company canceled our first appointment the day before our appointment and didn't come back out to complete the job for another week. Even though we were upset with the cancelation, we gave them another chance to keep our
business. Since we were satisfied with their work, we called them back a few days later for another job; to install a
TV.
We were told to get our own equipment (tv mount) and were never offered equipment from the company.
Unfortunately, when the electrician came out, the mount we got was not compatible with the TV (even though it said it was a universal mount). We offered to quickly drive to the store to buy a new mount, but the electrician
said we should reschedule. Had we been offered equipment from the company, we definitely would have purchased it so this wouldn?t have happened.
We called to reschedule and Roselyn said she would have to charge us for the service call in the amount of $75. We
were very upset with this considering they canceled with us and we gave them another chance. We didn?t get a discount
for their initial cancelation. On the contrary, we gave them a second chance and then called them for another job a
few days later.
We tried to explain that we offered to get the correct mount, but Roselyn wouldn?t budge. She said they can charge $50 instead of the $75. Both my husband and I tried to reason to her and explain that we were going to use them for many jobs in the
future in addition to recommending them to family and friends. I asked, is it really worth it to lose my business and all future business for $50?
Basically, Roselyn said ?YES? it is worth it to lose you for $50. She said they would go out of business if she did not charge us.
It was such poor, poor customer service that literally left me sick to my stomach. My husband had been orchestrating the entire thing, but I was so shocked and disappointed, I even called to try to reason with her.
I have never, ever dealt with such a rude and short sited person before, so unwilling to work with us to keep our
business and the business we would have referred. My friends were about to call them for their
electrical work next week. In addition, we are looking for another house which will need major renovations in the future
and most likely thousands of dollars of electrical work.
I told this all to Roselyn and she basically told me they had to charge the $50.
They cannot afford to waive it. They don?t need our $300 job (and future jobs) because their jobs are
usually $3000-$5000 jobs and in fact, her electrician was going to a $3000 job
today after our job. And while she said she doesn?t like to lose customers, she basically didn?t really want to save
the business.
What happens at the next recession when they don?t have those $3000-$5000 jobs?
Every customer should be treated the same and there is something huge to be said for customer service. She
demonstrated such poor customer service and lost thousands of dollars? worth of
business over $50. They easily could have added the $50 to our next job.
I feel this was a huge mistake on their part and NOT A WAY TO DO BUSINESS. Roselyn needs to read the book Raving
Fans. I am so disappointed with this company and cannot recommend them to anyone on Angie?s List.
"Unfortunately we are unable to have our technicians placed on standby while the homeowner went shopping at the mall to get the correct wall mount, we were not involved in the purchase of the wall mount nor did we recommend a particular brand/type, in addition we do not sell wall mounts nor do we supply wall mounts for flat-screen installations. I understand the homeowners frustration with the purchase of incorrect materials, however we were not to blame. I think the homeowner was not being fair to our company by expecting two technicians to stand by and not bill for the hours on the job."
"I am very pleased that we were able to correct problems you were having. It is our goal to keep you safe and have all of your electrical working properly. Thank you for the opportunity to serve you Roslyn Castranova Customer Relations"
