The staff at Top Dog is knowledgeable and goes above and beyond to ensure their customers have the best possible experience. I found them to be easy to work with, punctual and fairly priced. I would use them again and highly recommend them to anyone else needing work done.

When I called for the scheduling, I left a voicemail that was promptly returned. Guy also made sure I had all of the correct components (I didn’t; my sprinkler pump required a new relay as well which I bought after our conversation). I was given a window of 9 a.m. to noon on a Monday morning, and the guys called about 10 minutes out to let me know they were on their way and arrived right on time. They were extremely professional as I walked them through what I wanted to do and how I wanted it to look. Unlike many contractors in South Florida, they were extremely courteous and took their time; there was never a feeling of them needed to rush the job and move along. Their finish work is fantastic, and the job looks extremely professional (I just need to patch and paint from where the old boxes were removed). Like many technology projects these days, they had to spend a bit of time on the phone with customer support for the Rachio smart sprinkler pump controller, but they didn’t leave until everything was working and connected to the apps on my phone. I can 100 percent recommend Top Dog Electric for your small—or large—project in the metro Ft. Lauderdale area.

They are honest and they did a good work. I highly recommend them. The owner son is very excellent in his job as a electrician. The owner son is excellent with people. They call him Junior since he is the owner son. He is the most valuable person in the company. I did follow up job I will wait for the owner son if he is available. He does not mess around and does not overcharge very good man.

My wife and I received several estimates for electrical work on our home through Angie’s List and the technicians from Top Dog Electrical Inc. stood out from the rest due to their enthusiasm to perform the job properly, up to building code, and accommodate our requests. Some companies recommended performing the electrical work that would have changed the aesthetics of our home in a negative way because they wanted to avoid the attic. Other companies didn’t like to discuss the details of how they planned to accomplish some of our projects. Then Chad from Top Dog Electrics Inc. showed up to discuss our electrical projects and I remember Chad commenting, “no job is impossible.” A couple weeks later Chad and Guy showed up to start our projects and later called in reinforcements to help complete all of the work on time. All of our projects were completed as requested to perfection and in a proficient and timely manner. Not to mention that Chad and company repaired the necessary access holes in the walls to facilitate the completion of the jobs. Who does that? Chad and company at Top Dog Electrical did! Thank you, gentlemen, for a job well done. My wife and I were totally impressed.

Chad and Austin did a great job with the circuit breaker panel replacement. They were knowledgeable, and the work performed exceeded my expectations. I also appreciated Susan, communicating thoughtfully about each step of the project. Would recommend Top Dog whole heartedly and will use them again.

My technician was nothing short of amazing and provided excellent service in a timely manner, all with a smile on his face! This was my first time using this company and I must say, this experience exceeded my expectations and I will be back. I also really appreciated the time and attention Susan took to help me schedule the project. She was extremely patient and helpful.

Excellent. Guy determined exactly what we needed with efficiency in mind. Chad and Austin did a great job with the installations, which were not straight forward (especially the two circuit box replacements). Job went very smoothly, especially after having a false start with another electrician. Would recommend Top Dog whole heartedly and will use them again in the future.

I've used them before. The do good work. Their minimum charge isn't cheap, so you need to have enough work for them to be cost effective.

Perfect! Chad and Austin were courteous and efficient. Both were very careful with my collectible fixtures when removing them and that was very much appreciated.

We’ve used Angie’s List certified service award winners 7 times before Top Dog and have been more than satisfied. This is the first time we have been disappointed. I called and told the dispatcher Deanna that we needed to have 3 flood lights installed, wiring run for a doorbell for our new security system, and check out a paddle fan that wasn’t working. I was also clear that we had taken off the entire day for this because we needed to have the work completed in one day. I also made sure she knew that the doorbell wire was for an alarm system that was being installed that afternoon. She sent one electrician for 2 hours. He made it clear at the beginning that it was nowhere near enough time to complete the work, but Top Dog would not send out another electrician to help complete the work. In the end, two of the floodlights were installed, but nothing else. Here is the thing. I am not an electrician. I have to depend upon the company I’m hiring to ask appropriate questions to determine how much time is needed and schedule staff accordingly. But since she failed to do that, I am going to lose more money, not only for having to take more time off from work, but pay for an extra service call from the alarm company. That being said, Chad found a creative way of running conduit under the eaves to install the two floodlights. I would definitely hire him again, but I won’t because of how much their company is costing me beyond the price of the job.

Could not have gone better. The technicians were expert, neat and took great pride in their work. They arrived on time, did an excellent cleanup and the bill was very reasonable. I love their software that lets you know when they're on the way and when they'll arrive. This is a first rate company. It's no surprise that they have so many "A" ratings. Top Dog is now our "go to" electrical company.

Performed a full electric checkup on my property. Very professional

All went well. The tech had a missing piece available we needed in order to install the ring camera. He fixed the bathroom light. The previous job ( before we moved in) was done completely wrong so there was no light in the shower. He checked the lighting in the bathroom and fixed the wiring. He also helped us with questions on the ring door bell. We used the 2hrs/99$ offer they have on Angie's list and are extremely satisfied with their service.

Guy Jr. and Jerimi were so gracious and professional. They arrived in a timely manner and completed the job in a reasonable amount of time. Both were careful to not damage the walls when replacing the wiring and outlets. When the job was completed they cleaned up the work area and made sure everything was back in place. The price was extremely reasonable for the amount of work that had to be done. I was very pleased that even with a hurricane approaching Top Dog honored their commitment to do the job when scheduled. I will call on them for any future work and will be delighted to have Guy Jr. and Jerimi back in my home.

Jerimi and Austin, the technicians who responded to my residence, were very nice and informative initially. However, the work performed by Austin was unsatisfactory. Austin miswired the exhaust fan/light combo during installation, resulting in one light switch that did not operate anything; my husband discovered the problem after they left. I called Jerimi to advise him of the problem, using a phone number he used to contact me when en route to my home. He said he couldn't understand why Austin miswired the exhaust fan/light combo, but said they would correct the problem the following day. He also proceeded to tell me the phone number I used is his personal cell number; intimating it should not have been used. Later on that evening, and as a result of the miswiring, a breaker was overloaded; resulting in a power outage in all of our restrooms. Our restrooms do not have windows and were in total darkness. To add insult to injury, I called Top Dog Electric at 11pm that night, careful to use a phone number provided on their website, to leave a message on their answering machine to report the loss of electricity in our restrooms and in the hope of receiving prompt service the following morning. The answering machine did not pick up my call so I called a second time. A woman answered the phone and proceeded to ask me why I was calling so late and that I woke her up; her demeanor was rude and unprofessional. As an aside, their website states they provide 24/7 emergency service. Based on my experience, my rating of Top Dog Electric's performance is generous; their performance does not warrant a satisfactory review, repeat business, or referrals. Although the miswiring was corrected the following morning, and mistakes do occur, the behavior displayed by company staff speaks volumes about the civility, demeanor, and competence of their employees. If they had simply checked their work before they departed, the ensuing issues could have been avoided. Fortunately, there are numerous well-rated electricians and firms providing electrical services that appreciate business and value their customers; Top Dog Electric apparently does not.

Excellent! Jerimi and Guy Jr. were a pleasure to work with. They were punctual, professional, got the work done, and what I appreciated the most is they took time to explain and educate me on the work they were doing and help advise me on things I could DIY and strategies for doing so. And really have to appreciate they fact they saved me from having to climb the 25ft ladder to hit the cameras and alarms we needed on our high ceiling.

Great job - the replacement fixture was challenging to hang, and would have taken me a minimum of 2 days to facilitate. Jerimi and his partner (sorry I forgot his name) were on time, professional and provided outstanding customer service. I would highly recommend!!!!
