Description of Work: I met Bill Walde over 20 years ago. I am an Interior Designer and met him while working on a project in Ft. Lauderdale. I immediately liked him and hired him to work on a townhouse I was renovating. It was a very detailed job and he and his crew were terrific. My client was very happy as I was, and this became the beginning of a very long working relationship. Over the past 20 years Bill has worked on all sorts of projects for me, both residential and commercial and has also worked on my own home. He does interior as well as exterior painting and will work on both large and small projects. He is reliable and honest and for me as a designer for me this is very important. He takes his time and is very patient. I get a lot of repeat clients over the years and my clients are always happy to hear that I am still working with Bill. It is my pleasure to recommend Bill's Painting as an A plus painting contractor. ( The dollar amount far exceeds the amount in the given box above. )

Description of Work: I scheduled an appointment for an estimate and they never showed up or called to apologize. If they do not show up on for an estimate then who knows if they will show up once they are hired? They should respect their commitments and I have instead hired another company from Angies list who did show up on time.

Description of Work: Needed both interior (whole house) and exterior painting so this is a big job. Checked the list and was impressed with this company. I spoke with Bill and we set up an appt. He never showed up. I followed up with him and asked if he was still interested in the job. He said that he was and that he would call me. That was over 2 weeks ago and I still have not heard from him. He is probably very busy given the reviews he has on Angie's List but at this point, I see no reason to contact him again. I would be a little apprehensive to use him if this is the way he conducts himself before the job even begins.

Description of Work: Pressure cleaned, caulked, filled cracks and sealed house and garden shed. Painted accordion shutters to match house.

Description of Work: I had them paint the exterior of my 1700 square foot home. It is a 1 story house. They also painted the awnings and they used acrylic paint.

Description of Work: They power washed the roof and painted the entire exterior on my 6000 square foot home.

Description of Work: I called Bill to get an estimate for plastering work and other jobs in my home.

Description of Work: The work was to replace the wood of the T111's (gables) on either side of the house and then paint the entire exterior in a 3-color scheme. This included pressure cleaning the walls, sealing, caulking and patching stucco where needed. $500 was paid in front to pay for materials (paint and wood) and $2500 after the job was completed.

Description of Work: Bills crew came in after I fired three other contractors. It was a big job. They repaired 70 (yes, that's right) holes in the walls, replastered knockdown everywhere, fixed tile work in two bathrooms, fixed doors, put up lights. Mostly they did a fine job, except for the finish work. They spent sixty man hours trying to get the interior doors to close properly, with little success, instead of tearing out the frame and starting over. There were many spots where the grout repair never happened (in bathrooms, where it was important), final clean up was spotty, and a few things not done well (rescreening the patio, tiling a window sill, painting the exterior in the rain).

Description of Work: Bill sent a crew in to put insulation, dry wall, and paint our kitchen. They were the hardest working people I have ever seen! They were here four days; only once did I see them sit down to eat, the rest of the time they worked hard. My walls are perfect! They are better than what I had before. The price was fantastic for all that was done. I highly recommend this company.

Description of Work: They pressure washed, applied fungicide, patched holes in the stucco, redid the decorative stucco trim above the garage that was badly cracked, and painted the exterior of our two story house. We had changed the exterior color from peach to a yellow so it required additional painting to ensure coverage.

Description of Work: Knocked out and rebuilt a wall damaged by a leaking water heater. Refinished with rag roll to match the original perfectly. Sanded and painted all interior woodwork. Built up thinner tiles, used to replace tiles damaged by falling coconuts and H Wilma, to match contours of original tiles. Pressure cleaned and elastomeric coated flat concrete tile roof. Coated asphalt driveway. When 15 gallons of coating washed away from the rain, they replaced the coating and redid it at no additional cost.

Description of Work: Fungicide was applied to the exterior. They trimmed and painted a 2500 sq. ft. house. They also applied sealer, patched stucco, removed all gutters damaged in the hurricane, patched holes, and hand painted all doors and windows.

Description of Work: THE SURFACES WERE CLEANED AND PRIMED BEFORE THE WALLS AND TRIM WERE PAINTED IN THE MAIN AREAS OF THE HOUSE.
