Willie The Bee Man Inc
About us
Bee removal is something most people have never had to deal with. When most people find a honey bee infestation on their property, they usually don't even know where to begin to. Luckily, you've come to the right place. Family owned and operated, with 8 fully equipped trucks, Willie the Bee Man is one of the largest bee removal companies in Florida because bee removal is all we do. Willie and company have been quoted and interviewed for local and national tv and newspapers, as well as being on National Geographic, Discovery, CBS, NBC, ABC , Fox, CNN, NPR and others. Bee Removal requires a delicate touch, especially when the honey bees need to be removed from within your residential or commercial property. Bee removal can also be tricky since most of the time all you will see is a dozen or so honey bees going in and out of a hole on your property. What most people don't expect and are surprised to find is that right behind that opening are thousands if not tens of thousands of bees helping build and protect the colony being established in the cavity. Once the cavity is opened and we expose the honeycomb, for most customers it is shocking to find that there can be 50, 60, even over 100+ lbs of honeycomb waiting to be removed if the hive has been there for a good amount of time. When engaging a bee removal company to get rid of bees, the first thing to check is that the company is licensed and insured. Proper bee removal will usually require opening the cavity that the bees are building in, whether it be the wall, roof or soffit of your property. The bee removal process is stressful enough without having to worry about whether the work will be done correctly. Proper licensing assures that the company is accountable for their work and that they have taken the time to get the continuous training and education requires.

The techician, Andre, arrived on time & explained what he would do & asked if we wanted him to proceed.
He then proceeded to find, remove & treat the area where the bees had built their hive.
Following the removal he met with us to explain exactly what had been done, & what would happen
over the next several days. He was outstanding.
If Willie the Bee Man has others like Andre as part of his company,
it is no wonder that the company is so highly rated.
Angie we thank you for being the source for us of Willie the Bee Man
as part of your comprehensive service. Very glad we are members.
Found hive
Removed hive and bees never came back
They kept me informed as they were investigating the situation.
They proceeded with what had to be done.
They explained what happens next (some bees are visible for a few days afterwards).
And they did the above politely and efficiently.
My problem was solved and I haven't had bees since then. I just joined Angie's List and want to give them a shout out.
I hope we never get another bee colony, but if we did I would get Willie the Bee Man to remove it.
"should had checked your spam mail..."
"We gave you a price range and told you the average for your problem was $495."
Both men wore protective clothing and they had all the tools they needed for the job. Once the soffit was openened and the bees were located, bees were everywhere and it was not safe to be outside. There were around 7 hives spread across a 4 feet length of soffit. It took three holes to remove all the hives. The entire job took around 2 hours.
The rep then returned shortly afterwards and told me that he had been instructed by the office to collect a $195 "service charge". When I called the office to try and discuss this fee, the person with whom I spoke (presumably Willie himself) got angry with me and told me that he was "going to blackball me as a customer" (!!!).
I subsequently did some searches on the Internet and discovered that many other customers have posted about their unhappy experiences with this company. If you are considering this company, I would advise that you first do a few Google searches and find out what others have been saying.
"09/13/12 Bees are going in between 1st and 2nd floor, may need to open from the inside ceiling, wanted for us to just spray, we explained to him that the best way to take care of the problem is to extract the hive. He also did not want to pay for the service charge of $195"
"The beehive went further in from the soffit. Omar told him that the job wasnt completed this is what Omar wrote on completion . 07 31 12 Cut open 2 hole in the back soffit and remove bee hive customer did not want to open a hole inside sprayed and dusted. $495ck Member just wanted us to spray & dust again and Willie told him that the only way is to open from the inside to remove rest of bee hive , he refused.
