Outstanding! They are simply the best.

We called Harold Haycook Moving Company and they were so very helpful! I talked with Anita several times and we scheduled for Harold to come out and see if it was possible to get it up the steps. He came out and measured the couch, and the area where the couch had to turn on the steps. He said he felt like they could get it up to the 5th floor. A couple days later, he and 2 of his movers came and got it up and in the unit in less than an hour. What a professional and honest company!

Everything went great!

We used Haycook 3 years ago for everything. This time, we thought we could move the smaller stuff, so they did not do any packing for us. They did move lamps, plants, rugs.  Walt was the 'lead' man assisted by Joe and Lloyd. They were on time, efficient and even offered a suggestion about using felt pads for a particularly heavy table.
The job took 6 hours but we were moving only 4 miles away. They don't take credit cards but a check was OK.

Workers were on-time, introduced themselves, were very courteous and careful and never took a break. Billing was under estimate because it took less time than estimated.

Walter, Lloyd & Walter arrived at exact time scheduled & they were very professional in their handling of the furniture & boxes. All furniture & TV's were wrapped, removed & delivered in excellent condition. Boxes were also handled professionally. First time I have ever used a professional moving company and I have only praise for these three men. From the moment I called & spoke to Anita Haycook, her husbad, Harold's estimate & the work Walter, Lloyd & Harold performed was truly praise worthy. Wonderful moving experiance! First they picked up a piece of furniture from a local antique store and delivered ahead of schedule. Fourdays later the mainmove was done. The job was originally estimated for 5-6 hours, they were done in three. They treated my belongings as if they were theirs. I will definitely use and recommend them inthe future.

Prompt and efficient

Harold & Anita Haycook, and Walter, run a very professional and service oriented company. They were on time, took great care of our furniture and high end possesions, plus they moved an entire 10x10 storage unit of stuff with the move. Their estimate was lower than the actual cost, but the move went so smoothly and quickly, that I did not mind the addtitional cost. I would defintely recommend them and will use them for my next move!

Called this company for moving estimate.  Very prompt and professional, and the price was way better than our other quotes.  Family owned and operated business, very personable and professional.  We have had several relocations with large nationwide moving companies, but this move with Haycook was BY FAR the best ever.  We had absolutely no damage whatsoever to our furnishings.  Highly recommend the Haycook's to everyone!

We could not have done this move without them.  They were very professional and worked very hard both days.  We had a ton of stuff and they moved every piece.  They disassembled and assembled furniture.  They took very good care of all our belongings.  They were very nice to work with.  I would highly recommend this company if you are moving.

I have used them 3 times and they are a great company. I used them last year and he had to take me out of a storage  and a condo to a house. They helped me pack everything, they wrapped everything and helped me find storage. They stood out because their storage is air conditioned, and the help is unbelievable and they have never broke anything.

Haycook Moving did a great job moving me out of my condo into a storage unit.  They were totally professional.  They gave me an estimate ahead of time, and stuck to it.  They arrived on time, and did the work just as they said.   I was impressed with how the crew was very careful with my furniture. Nothing was broken or misplaced.  They moved my harp and baby grand piano with  special care and expertise.   When it got late in the day, and I still had more things to pack, they helped me put things in boxes. They went the extra mile to help me finish on time.  Throughout the move, the crew could not have been more courteous and helpful.  I would only use Haycook on all future moves.  I give them my highest recommendation.

From my initial inquiry until the move was completed, all representatives of the company were professional, friendly and accommodating.  Members of the crew were very careful with the items being moved, and there was no damage.  They even agreed to remove a refrigerator at the new location before bringing ours into the house.  The entire process was completed in a timely fashion (about three and a half hours), and I found the price to be fair for the quality of service they provided.

Upon selling a second house in central Florida, we were given two weeks to remove all furniture from the home. After receiving five bids in person from several nationwide movers and two online bids, we were concerned about the high estimates given to move our approximate 3,000 lbs of furniture.  We also had a sofa, love seat and lamp table that needed to be shipped to the south Florida area.  Of all the movers, only one company was willing to ship the items to south Florida but charged an additional high price.   I then decided to review Angie's list for local moving companies and came up with Harold Haycook, an 'A' rated company.  I called the company and spoke with Walter Lutz to explain our predicament. He accepted my request for an immediate visit for an estimate.  Walter came by at the agreed upon date and time, explained to me how the process would tale place and gave me the lowest bid of all, not including an online bid which I later found out came from a scammer.  Walter indicated the bid was firm and noted it so on the written estimate.  After checking up on the company with the Better Business Bureau, I agreed to accept his services by phone. Since we had not signed an agreement, I was concerned that he might not show up for the move. Walter, who is the son-in-law in a family owned business, reassured me that the firm has been in existence for many years and had never had problems with customers. On moving date, Walter and two other men arrived on time, checked all the items that needed to be moved, numbered and catalogued them accordingly and packaged the furniture twice in plastic wrap and moving blankets. They were careful with all items. In addition to furniture and boxes, I had a washer and dryer to move.  The move took about 3 - 4 hours.  We signed a contract for the agreed upon price which we would pay upon receipt of the furniture. No deposit was required. My furniture arrived in NJ 1 1/2 weeks later as we agreed. Everything came in the same exact condition as it had been packaged, without any damages.  All items were accounted for. The separate furniture to south Florida arrived two weeks later as agreed and in the same good condition. I called the company twice to confirm moving dates and spoke with a very nice lady each time. She was very helpful and followed up with the information I needed.  I highly recommend this company for either long or short term moves. Their services are reasonably priced and the movers are very conscientious of their job.
