The Roofing Company

The leak turned out to more extensive than originally thought. The chimney needed to be completely torn down and rebuilt.. The original estimate we thought it would take 2 days to complete. It ended up taking over 4 days because of the chimney issues. The technician was very good. He had over 30 years experience. He had skills beyond the roofing repair. (i.e. carpentry, painting) He also sealed a skylight at no extra cost.

When they originally created out to give the estimate it took all of 15 minutes. Maybe that was just for my issues but I love the quickness especially when you have to get to work. They were great. Christine was very helpful. The roofers that came out were friendly and the work was done correctly. They even send someone out to pick up payment at your convenience of you do not want to mail it in. I don't like mailing that kind of information so it was nice that they can do that. The weather caused a delay in the repair but it's Florida so that is to be expected. I would recommend them to anyone.

No call, no show. I called the office to inquire about the technician not showing for the appointment. I was informed that she didn't know the reason for the no show. The office returned my call about 30 min later (1 hr after the scheduled appt time) and I was informed that the tech had gotten "tied-up"at the last appt and couldn't be at my home until approximately 2-3 hours past scheduled appt time. I explained that I understand that things happen but it was terrible customer service that the tech didn't call to let me know. I had scheduled my day around the appt. I was informed that the tech's phone was in his car and he had been in home of another customer. Anyone can excuse himself to give someone a courteous call. Even if his phone had died, he could have borrowed the homeowner's phone to inform me. In summary, my interaction with this company was extremely unprofessional and they showed a complete disrespect of my time!!!!

Provider lost the original appointment made through Angie's List. I called when the technician did not appear as scheduled and was informed that they had no record of the appointment which the provider confirmed through Angie' List. The provider immediately arranged for another appointment on the next business day at the end of the day. The president of the company came after 5 PM on the day of the second appointment and performed the service. He was very professional and explained in detail his work and his findings on the roof condition. I was disappointed that the original appointment was not kept, but very pleased with the resolution of the problem and the work that was done. I requested a written quote for repair work that will be required in the near future and I am waiting for that quote. The verbal quote sounded very reasonable for the work being proposed. Even though the company showed up later than the window provided, the technician went out of his way to go get some needed supplies from a local home improvement store. The property is a rental property that we (my wife and I) - the technician called twice to let me know what he found, what he performed, and his recommendations. Excellent service!

CHRIS EXPLAINED TO ME WHAT MY ROOF AND DID A THOROUGH INSPECTION.

Went great. I was surprised to see the owner of the company come out to do check/maintenance work. He went over in detail exactly what he was going to do. I knew I had a couple issues. After letting me know again in detail what he did as far as the rest of the roof he went ahead and explained in detail what was going on with the issues I have above the garage. He gave me a fair quote and went ahead and having them do the repair. Definitely takes pride in what they do.

Fine. Fast and professional. They did the job. It was good. Squirrels eat the downspout linings and the water would come down in the bathroom ceiling. They were professional.

My roof is leaking 4/24. The earliest they can come look at it is 5/4. Not soon enough for my liking.

He inspected my roof without doing anything.

Chris arrived on time with a phone call that he was on his way. Went right to work and told me what he was looking for. He repaired popped and rusty nails and installed "squirrel screens" on all stacks. He also sealed around the chimney. I found Pride Roofs on Angie's list. The house Chris inspected is a rental home that we own. When I mentioned that I was going to have my husband install the squirrel screens on our house, he asked me where I lived (two blocks away), he followed me home and installed them with no charge. I will definitely recommend his company and will have him install new roofs when we need them replaced. Shouting from the "roof tops".. ...... PRIDE ROOFS....highly recommended! Thank you Chris

The job went terribly! They did not do what they agreed to do which was to replace shingles on the roof and fix the leak in the carport. They did put in 24ft of fascia board (to fix places that were beginning to rot) but they charged me for 60ft. I ended up having to get another estimate from a different company. They took pictures of the roof & advised me that there we no new shingles put on the roof & that there were some shingles missing as well. They also provided me with copies of the pictures. Pride in Roofing promised to refund $584 & that the check would be in the mail. The check still hasn't arrived but a thank you card came in the mail but was sent to the rental property. I would never use this company again nor recommend them to anyone! Issue was resolved on 04/30/15 because I received a check for a refund on work that was not completed.

The whole experience was excellent from beginning to end. The cost included a $149.00 special tune-up/repair offer, with $100.00 going toward the repair. Since I knew my roof was leaking, I took the offer. Chris did a thorough examination of the roof and, as part of the tune-up, caulked the leaking areas to give me temporary relief while I made my decision. He left me with a written quote including a detailed description of the work that would be done. I kept the appts. I had with 2 other roofing companies, and in the meantime, the caulking got me through 2 rain storms. The roofer who came the day after Chris, asked me who did the caulking job and told me I should go with him because he did such a great job ("he used the best caulking on the market and I can see where he did a few minor repairs ... well worth the tune-up cost"). My only issue was the originally quoted price for the permanent repairs, which was substantially higher than the other two. Chris worked with me, pointed out differences in what would be included, and we agreed on the adjusted price of $800. Two workers arrived exactly on time in a clean clearly identified Pride Roofing truck. They were very neat, friendly, and professional. They went over the work list with me, and got to work right away. When the work was complete they showed me pictures of what they had done from beginning to end. When they left there was absolutely no debris left behind. I will definitely use this company again when, inevitably, the whole roof needs to be replaced. I can only repeat: It was an excellent experience from beginning to end!

Service person was nice and professional. I am not sure whether it was worth the money or not. I was not up there with him to see exactly what was done. He told me that he did some caulking and inspected the flashing and the rest of the roof. Having just bought the house, I was interested to hear from a professional what kind of shape it was in. Of course, he recommended a new roof in the next year or so. Time will tell whether that is an accurate estimation of the remaining life of the current roof.

Chris arrived on time and got right to work . He was very Professional and a pleasure to deal with. I will hire again.

He took his time, fixed a few small problem areas, explained some things which were going on with the roof and provided, upon my request, a written estimate for replacing the roof. Chris was professional throughout and will certainly have my business when I do the roof replacement. I would highly recommend his company and their services.

Purchased a roof tune up deal but cancelled the deal when they couldn't come for a few weeks. To my surprise Chris came even though I had cancelled the deal and provided a roof tune up at no cost. He took care of problem areas and explained why I had a previous problem that caused a leak. Chris was efficient, professional and a delight to do business with. I will need a new roof in a few years and will definitely use Pride Roofing. What a delight to have such great service. They really do take pride in their work and I highly recommend them. Sealed everything on roof he did a great job.

Initially impressed with the service. I sent them an email through Angie's List, they were responsive and scheduled an estimator to come out quickly. He arrived on-site in a timely manner, climbed up on the roof did his inspection and wrote me a quote. Admittedly the quote was higher than I expected to put in some ridge venting, but I am more concerned about quality, so I wanted to have a reputable company do the work. When I spoke to the estimator, I asked how far out they were scheduled and I was told 3 to 4 days because this is considered a "repair job". I was very impressed. So within 2 days, I signed the quote and sent it back to them. My good experience ends here. After I emailed to make sure they had received it (I never got confirmation) I was told that someone would be calling me to schedule. When they did call to schedule, I was told they were scheduling out 3 to 4 WEEKS and not days. They apologized for the confusion and then said they would try to honor what the estimator said - -they would get back to me. Silence, for 4 business days. No one called, no one emailed nothing. I was willing to forgive the confusion between the estimator and scheduling. I understand that things happen, but to just leave me hanging wondering what is going on with no update - thats not a level of service I'm comfortable with. So 10 days ago (with still no contact from them), I sent an email letting them know that I was no longer interested in having them do the work. The email went unanswered. Late last week, I get a very nice call from their scheduling team saying they are putting me on the calendar for next week. This was despite my email letting them know that I was no longer interested in having them do the work. So the best I can guess is that one hand doesn't know what the other hand is doing at Pride Roofing. It's a shame, because I really wanted them to do the work, but my concern is that if this is the level of service I get when I'm trying to give them money, what kind of service am I going to get if something goes wrong down the road.

Chris called ahead and arrived promptly. He was very professional and friendly. He went on roof and patched bad areas, sealed nails and also put roof tar around the attachments to solar panels and chimney. Also, sealed vent pipes. He explained all he did and what might be needed in the future. I had to go on to the roof to fix a solar panel leak and was able to see all he had done. It was just as he explained. I was very impressed by his service and expertise. It was a pleasant surprise to have such a professional service at such a reasonable price. I would absolutely recommend Pride Roofing Services to anyone.
