R.J. Kielty Plumbing, Heating and Cooling is a family owned and operated, full service plumbing and air conditioning contractor. Our doors first opened in 1973 and we currently have 3 locations in Hudson, Brandon and Orlando, serving the entire Greater West Central Florida Region. They showed up. Diagnosed a bad thermostat and burned up a transformer in the process. We paid $300 for a new transformer $90 for the diagnosis, and the AC still doesn't work. Now management won't return any calls and didn't even provide a receipt. NOT RECOMMENDED!

It went lousy! The whole point of your service is to get an idea of cost upfront. I provided details of the project and they called me but refused to give me any idea of a price range, even after I said that I understand that any quote is subject to change once they are on site and can fully evaluate the job. They flat out refused to given me even a general idea of a possible price range, plus the woman I spoke with was rude! I've used Angie's List for years but I am seriously considering cancelling my membership. Things seem to have changed since Angie's List was bought out by Home Advisor.

The RJ Kielty plumber let me know when he would be at my house and arrived promptly. He looked at the water heater, identified the problem immediately and replaced the thermostat. He was knowledgable and courteous. They will be our plumber we go with when problems arise.

They explain step-by-step on everything that they were doing. They may be a little more expensive but it’s worth it to get the job done right the first time.

Terrible! In May the plumber did under-sink work. In August mold spread led to discovery of a leak that may result in $10,000 of mold removal and structural replacement of cabinets, drywall etc. The leak was still leaking. Kielty denied responsibility even though their technician worked at the specific point of failure, sticking customer with all costs for remediation and repair.

I would recommend RJ Kielty all day long!!! I had Robert install a new water heater. He was AWESOME!!! Friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He was also very neat. Making sure my belongings were not affected in any way. The ladies who I spoke to in the office were also friendly, polite and professional. Definitely call them! VERY happy with the service I received ????

My wife and I could not be happier than we are with RJ Kielty Plumbing. We needed a new water heater, my old one was literally 30 years old and was on its last legs. Our entire experience with RJ Kielty has been nothing short of superb. Their technician, Robert, was knowledgeable, professional, polite, and personable. He was faced with a not easy task as our old WH unit was stuck way back in a bedroom closet. He worked diligently to first drain the old unit and then take it out. As far as the installation of the new WH, he did great work there also and would not stop until everything was done properly and to his and our satisfaction. I have a feeling that Robert tends to be a perfectionist outside of his life as a plumber. Additionally, I had an awesome experience with Mary Kay, one of Kielty's phone operators/schedulers. She was also extremely professional and friendly, and without her excellent help, I could not have had this job done. If you need a plumber, I highly recommend RJ Kielty. (and Robert and Mary Kay). You won't be disappointed!

After their technician (Franklin) took made an assessment of what I need and gave me a written estimate of the total cost, the company was able to immediately schedule a time for the installation. He was competent, efficient, friendly, and provided me with some pointers on how to best maintain my new water heater. I highly recommend them.

Very Professional at every step. Advance e-mail introducing sales associate coming out, their picture and background. Quote provided after examining existing system including attic.. Recommended air handler re-work to improve system performance included in quote. Quote & warranty explained in detail. Installation completed as quoted plus installers cleaned up air distribution ducts in the attic...beyond what was quoted...and explained the benefit. Explained new thermostat and set properly. Left house & garage clean.. Very professional at all levels.

Jesse was very good throughout at getting out to bid the job, working with me to compare bids from (3) other companies (two offering tankless, the third, not) and answering a lot of my questions. The prime 'deal killer' was when, after months of 'research', the electrician we would have needed for the tankless said that we needed to check w/ TECO . TECO then informed us we'd need a $2530 'upgrade' to our electrical box that neither Kielty or the other 'tankless' companies had 'felt' would be impacted . For a regular hybrid water heater / softener, Kielty was enough above R.J. Carr Plumbing to have us go with them instead. I am grateful for the electrical company (one of two who bid) for alerting us to the very real implication of going 'Tankless' before we got any more involved in hiring Kielty!!!

I have rated 'C" for price because I do not have details of charge. Work was completed in about an hour and a half. I did not receive any consideration for being Angie's list member despite requesting service thru Angie's list.

Technicians arrived within the specified time-window and promptly went to work, providing a repair cost for approval before starting the actual repair; cost was lower than expected :). Will Martinez and his assistant worked diligently, finishing the work as soon as possible and cleaning the area once done with the repair. We had a man named Clayton come out to replace my moms water heater. This guy never looked at us in the face let alone said 2 words to us. It took him 5 hrs to replace her water heater which was ground level in a closet. 4 of those hrs he stood around staring into space like he was on drugs. Never once have I had a company come do service on something in my home and the worker be so unprofessional. Will make sure to tell all my friends n family not to hire. Also charged us for a shut off valve that comes with the heater
