The technician was very polite and gave us an estimate right away. He was very honest and asked my husband and myself to go outside with him as he cleaned the compressor. He also put freon in the unit and showed us the exact amount that he put in. We were very impressed since this was never done with other service we have used in the past.

Well, it has been two years since Modern Air put my split system in. Please advise that they did not pull a permit on my project. This has caused us a lot of trouble now. We are trying to do further renovations in this room and could not because Modern Air did not do the permit and energy load calculations. When we called Modern Air to help us with the lack of permit they came out, looked at the situation and told us they would help. Then they ghosted us. We had to pay over $3000 to another contractor to get the split system installation approved so that we could do other work in the room. These guys do good work, but are not accountable to their former customers when they need them the most.

Tom was thorough and explained what was needed and offered suggestions for the unit to run more efficiently. Excellent service!! When a replacement system is needed, I know who I'll call!

Tom was a very fine repairman. Honest and with integrity. Much recommended. I went from a previous company which was an awful form to deal with and went with Modern Air, Inc.

I got on Home Advisor at 10:00 at night when I realized that my AC wasn't working. I found that the return air duct in the attic had collapsed so the unit could not circulate air. Modern Air was one of 3 companies recommended by Home Advisor. I requested a quote from all three. I was shocked when 30 seconds after requesting the info, Tom called me to discuss my needs. This guy works all hours! I explained my situation and he said he would like to come first thing in the morning before the attic got too hot. Sure enough, 9:00 in the morning he was at my house. He quickly confirmed my diagnosis and got to work on the repair. He brought everything with him that he needed, made quick work of the repairs, cleaned up behind himself and billed me exactly what he quoted the night before. I'm a big fan of great customer service and Tom exemplifies this in his ways of working. Will definitely recommend to others.

Had scheduling issues, but, was kept informed which I greatly appreciated. So many don't communicate. As far as the job, it was done professionally and with little fanfare. Will definitely rehire when next needed. Very personable.

We've used another AC business in the past, but they do not come anywhere as close to the excellent work, five-star proffesionalism, and overall friendliness we experienced with Tom from Modern Air. We wouldn't think of giving our business to anyone else ever again.

Simple and direct, documented all he did and was proffessinal enough to take pictures of the problems he resolved, gives you a full view of how important it was to keep track of the small things you wouldnt think much about that could cause alot of problems. Great service, proffessional,and very friendly.
