My husband and I recently had a full renovation of our pool and outdoor area. We also extended our pool deck, adding on a covered area with a full wet bar and gas fireplace/TV combo wall. After over a year of meeting with other contractors (and leaving disappointed), we finally met Kevin. The process with Grand Vista was totally different than what we had previously experienced. Kevin recommended adjustments to our architectural plans when other contractors insisted our ideas were not possible. He also guaranteed us that all the work would be done through him (no need to go with separate companies for electric, kitchen, patio, etc.) Once we decided to go forward with Grand Vista Pools, the process started quickly. We were able to go to a showroom to choose from many options. I really liked seeing everything in person and being able to pair it together with real samples versus looking through a book. The entire patio re-do was completed by his crew in 2 weeks! We were so impressed, and it looked beautiful. The pool was also finished incredibly quickly. We had some delays and hang ups during the kitchen and fireplace - some due to rain, and some due to backordered material. A renovation of this size is never easy, so we new there would be hiccups. But, in the end, we are so happy with our outdoor space. It is everything we wanted, and Kevin really worked hard to make sure we loved everything. I feel comfortable know that if anything happens in the future Kevin will be there to help us out and stand by his crew’s work. I have and will continue recommending Grand Vista Pools to all my friends and family!!

First of all let me just say if I had another pool to be remodeled tomorrow these guys will be the only ones welcomed onto my property. I have remodeled everything in our 1981 home and this company by far has been the most professional and reliable dealing with a heavy construction project like ours for a total pool and paver makeover. The price quoted was exactly what I paid at the end. They came across some deeper issues with my pool shell with cracks and still did not charge anything more than my original quote. They laid out a time plan and stuck to it pretty much to it with in day of each other. After seeing the final project, it’s safe to say that they set the bar extremely high for me in the quality of their workmanship. It’s sad to say that I am happy we did our pool last as if it were done first I would of expect every company with remodeling our home to be at the same standard I just witnessed. Not good. Still leaking, no pump changed, one of the lights still out and spa that they installed cavities because it wasn’t designed properly.

Grand Vista Pools provided the highest level of construction and customer service that I have ever encountered. The construction process was laid out in advance so that we were aware of every step of the process and when it would occur. The schedule was precisely adhered to and the pool was completed in 5 weeks. There was never any down time. All processes moved methodically. All the employees were friendly, hard working and willing to explain the process they were trained to do. Kevin Shipp is great to work with and made sure the process flowed seamlessly. It was a great experience and I would, and have, highly recommended Grand Vista as the "go to" pool company in the area.

If you are looking for a pool installer Grand Vista Pools is the best!!! 7 years ago we decided to put in a pool. We got 3 quotes and Grand Vista’s was the middle one. Kevin (owner) lives in my neighborhood and has installed may pools here. Everyone he has installed a pool for loves him! Kevin worked with us to come up with a design and answered all our questions. He told us the day he would start and the day he would finish. It all pretty much went like clockwork. We love our pool and it looks fantastic! Since the pool was installed I have had a few simple questions. A few times I texted Kevin and he has replied almost right away. Kind of the customer service you just don’t see anymore. If I ever need any work on my pool Grand Vista Pools is the only people I will call. About 2 months ago I noticed some calcium build up on the tiles around the Spa. I tried to clean it, but it was just too hard. I texted Keven and he scheduled one of his techs to come over. The news I got was not what I expected…. The Spa had a hair line crack and was leaking causing a calcium build up. Wow a costly pool repair! I just grinned and said let’s get it done. The tech said he would call me regarding getting it schedule and left. About 30 minutes later I got a call from Kevin. He said he just talked to his tech and the Spa should not have cracked. He then said, “Don’t worry I will do you right.” He said he would remove the tiles from the Spa, fix the crack and put new tiles back on. Oh and he was going to cover it as a warranty. I was absolutely floored!!!!! My pool is past its warranty period and he did not have to do this! Kevin is an upstanding citizen in our neighborhood. From time-to-time I will see him and his family out and about. Once I even ran into him at the dog park. He always smiles and calls me by name. I am just overwhelmed by how Kevin has stood by his work, and all the little things he has done to help me with my pool over the years. If you need a pool you want to use Grand Vista Pools. P.S. If you do get a pool with Grand Vista make sure you get “pool automation” so you can control everything from your phone. It might be pricey, but you will love it!!!

We never got past the estimate phase. It started off fine and they were timely and responsive. After requesting an estimate for a new pool, I was informed that the proposed plan was well below their $45,000 minimum for a pool package; however, they would be happy to move forward at that price. I asked if a wood deck could apply towards the pool package, to which they indicated no (this I completely understood and was okay with). So accordingly (and on multiple occasions) I asked for a broken down estimate so that I could see what they were charging for each component in the pool package and a current plan total indicating how far below the 45k minimum I was so that I could determine where and how I could make proposed upgrades to the pool package in size, materials, extra features, etc. to approach and/or exceed the 45k minimum. First I was told I didn't need that, followed by responses that avoided my request, followed by no response at all. I can't possibly recommend a contractor that can't or won't give a detailed estimate on their work and materials.

It went very well. Company was very professional. Walked us through the whole process. All inspections passed. Never one problem . All outside contractors were wonderful too.

Grand Vista pools renovated our entire pool area 3 years ago. This project included: pavers, resurfacing the pool and building an outdoor kitchen. We could not have been happier with the work and communication through the entire process. Recently, we decided that we wanted a different backsplash behind our grill due to the inability to keep the current one clean. Once again, Kevin responded to me with in an hour. He sent his crew out to evaluate the situation and gave me several options. The knowledge and experience Grand Vista provides is priceless. It is nice to know that 3 years after the main project, we can still count on Kevin to help us.

Excellent customer service and my pool looks AMAZING!

I contacted Grand Vista as well as some other highly rated pool companies when we were in the marked for a new pool back in 2015. Kevin made an excellent impression at the first sales consultation by explaining his company and products and the construction process. He listened to our wants and needs and was quick to provide a proposal and estimate. While Grand Vista was not the cheapest company that we received quotes from, they were very competitive. Based on everything considered, we decided to go with Grand Vista for the project. While the mess associated with pool construction definitely isn't fun, Kevin and his crew did a great job during the construction process. Like with any large project some problems came up, but they quickly dealt with them successfully and moved the project forward. Kevin and his crew were professional and accommodating during the construction process. The final product looked great and came in on budget. It has been almost two years since Kevin finished our pool. There have been several minor issues that have come up since then, and as soon as they were brought up to Kevin he had his people come out and fix them. You definitely don't have to worry about Grand Vista ignoring you after your project is over and you've paid them the final check. They care about making sure the customer is satisfied and stand behind the product. I've recommended Grand Vista to friends and am very happy about my entire experience with the company.

Grand Vista Pools just recently put a pool in at our house over the summer and it took less time than anticipated. The pool came out just as planned on at our quoted price. The crews that arrived for each stage of the project were very nice, professional, performed great quality work and always cleaned up when they were finished. Kevin Shipp our manager for the project was very experienced and part of the entire process, he offered good ideas for the project and always promptly returned my calls and texts. After the project was completed Grand Vista Pools still provided exceptional service with any questions or concerns that we had. I would highly recommend them to my family and friends.

First and foremost with Grand Vista Pools you deal directly with one gentleman Mr. Kevin Shipp. He is with you from start of your contract to the completion of your pool. I promise there is no middle man! Many times you deal with a salesman and thereafter you get the heart aches of sub contractors not completing to satisfaction. Mr. Shipp gave us an anticipated date and our family was swimming a week prior . He assisted with the pool design and ideas for our dream pool. I probably change the pool design four to five times and he had no issues. He was patient with my ideas and listen to what I expected. I am difficult to deal with because I want things done right the first time. I had two minor issues and a quick phone call to his personal cell or an email was sufficient. He had his staffing at the job site immediately correcting it. Surprisingly I was amazed of how clean the site was each day. He is an honest man with and honest reputation. His employees Rudy and his staff were great! Very respectful and hardworking individuals . Mr. Shipp is on point with every contract and definitely kept his word on every detail discuss throughout the entire project. This company did an amazing job well done. I promise when you deal with he will make sure you are pleased with the project. When the pool was completed he did a final walk through and ensured that we knew how to use the water features and pool equipment. I was surprise because I have heard many companies leave you high and dry after the pool construction. The few subcontractor this company uses do an amazing job. The travertine flooring was install beautiful . It appeared to me that they took pride on what they did. I wish Angie's List had an option to attach pictures so that you may see for yourself the completion of the pool. I usually don't recommend companies but I must say I will not hesitate to say that GRAND VISTA POOL did a job well done and must be recognized. The construction went amazingly smooth. In 17 years my husband and I have never engaged in any type of home improvement. Kevin Shipp at Grand Vista Pools was the first contractor we have ever dealt with. The entire process of refinishing and re-tiling our 24 year old pool was an absolute breeze. We received 3 quotes and, while Kevin was the most expensive, he was without a doubt the most competent and thorough. Initially he gave us a quote via a photograph of our pool. However, at our request he came in person to take full measurements and provide us with detailed information about Pebble Tec. Shortly after we signed the contract he provided a time line for the schedule of work. All of his sub-contractors were a joy to work with, from the pool leak detection to tile installer. (Rudy, the tile installer, did an amazing job with an incredible level of detail. He made suggestions regarding the decorative tile we had chosen that I had not of thought of ? and it turned out fabulous) We also needed a new pool heater and Kevin was able to order one and install it during the rest of the work. Kevin was always available via email or phone calls throughout the process any time we had questions. Kevin even went an extra step when, after the job was done and we did not care for the shape or color of the ?spillover? tile from the spa to the pool, he sent Rudy back out to replace it to our specifications. This extra level of detail was greatly appreciated. We would recommend Grand Vista Pools to everyone; the work is quality and there were no hidden or extra charges. We love our pool ! !

Grand Vista Pools has been one of the best providers we have used overall. Since the construction of the pool back in 2007, they have been extremely professional, customer oriented and helpful with the small issues we had. In 2016, almost 10 years after the pool was built, Grand Vista Pools helped us with an issue out of warranty at no charge. The owner (Kevin Shipp) has been always very responsive to our requests. I would recommend Grand Vista Pools to anyone looking for a professional pool project, on schedule and peace of mind.

We couldn't be more thrilled with the work that Kevin Shipp and Grand Vista Pools did for us. We had an existing concrete lanai replaced with Travertine, the pool and spa were retiled and resurfaced with Pebble Sheen, and a new cage was installed. Kevin was very easy to work with and had a lot of good ideas that we implemented, such as taking the Travertine right to the edge of the pool rather than using coping. The result is absolutely beautiful. Kevin quoted the job at 3 weeks, and it took exactly 3 weeks before they were refilling the pool, with an additional 1 week for modest punch-list items. Grand Vista's quote was approximately $10,000 higher than 2 other quotes that I got, but as they say, you get what you pay for. There were no hidden costs on the project. Modest changes that would have cost extra with other vendors (for example, the need to repair the fascia behind the gutters) were simply taken care of.

Kevin came out and gave us recommendatios on how to make better use of our outdoor space. He re shaped the pool that gave us more room for entertaining. He also created a Baja pool shelf which gave our pool personality! Kevin was very honest and punctual. He gave us a reasonable time frame and actually finished a little early. First time ever where I contracted a service in Florida and they showed up on time and did what they said the would. Highly recommend Grand Vista!!!!!!

Fantastic company to work with. They really listen to you and focus on how you will be using the pool and consider the living area around the pool also. They want to make sure you have a space you will really enjoy. Kevin and his team were always responsive, polite and professional. He is always willing to answer questions and is very punctual. It was a great experience and the quality of work is exceptional.

Kevin was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He seemed to take pride in his work He gave us a very nice packet of materials with Pebble Tec brochure and tile brochure and a detailed list of the upgrade costs for the various choices of Pebble Tec, something none of the other companies offering Pebble Tec did for us. The reason we didn't choose Grand Vista Pools is price. They were more than 10% higher than our next highest estimate.

We had a pool that was 20 years old and wanted to refinish, update the tiles, and replace the deck. We obtained 4 quotes and Kevin the owner of Grand Vista Pools was my last quote. From the very first meeting with Kevin both my wife and myself felt very comfortable with Kevin's approach. He was not trying to do a sell job, he was merely interested in our requirements and provided his ideas on how he believed our requirements would be met. He made some very good suggestions and we got a quote to remodel the pool, which included demolition, resurfacing with Pebbletek, new tiles, a step up water fountain, and travertine on the deck. Once we contacted Kevin to let him know we were a go, we started to get regular communication via text, email, and phone calls. He scheduled all of his contractors to start coming in to begin the job. We were very impressed with all of the contractors at the various stages of the project. It was evident that Kevin took the time to source his employees since all were highly skilled and customer friendly. Each team had a leader and we were communicated with both at the start and completion of each phase of the project. The end result was a beautifully refinished pool with an outstanding travertine deck. The skill and craftsmanship were evident in the end product. We could not be more satisfied with the outcome. I would highly recommend Grand Vista Pools if you are looking for a provider that is priced market competitive, has a great crew, and who communicates with you throughout the project. A's in all categories from me.

This project was large and involved many workers. Kevin, the owner of Grand Vista Pools, coordinated everything so well. He is so communicative: we were never left wondering when he or his guys would be back or what was going to happen next. The "spool" and fire pit are beautiful. Kevin has a great eye and helped us choose materials that complemented each other. Everyone who works for Kevin is respectful and a pleasure to have on your property. We had three estimates (with Angie's List service providers) and Kevin's quote was the best. Everything was included in his price. When we needed a small retaining wall outside of the lanai, Kevin provided that as well. You won't meet a man more down to earth and honest than Kevin. We have the backyard we wanted and I would highly recommend Grand Vista Pools!

We LOVE our pool!!! We spent over a year researching pool companies before finally deciding to use Kevin and Grand Vista Pools. Kevin helped us make informed and smart decisions about our choices and designed the perfect pool for the layout of our house. From start to finish, the Grand Vista Pool team did an outstanding job at each phase of the pool building process. I work from home and watched the entire process and they were courteous and top notch. Kevin was very prompt with returning my phone calls or emails and was always able to answer my questions. Even after deciding to add solar heat near the end of the construction process, they still finished a few weeks ahead of schedule! We are extremely impressed with the experience we had with Grand Vista Pools and highly recommend them. We can surprisingly say that the pool construction process was FUN! I particularly appreciated his prompt responsiveness and professional communication. There were absolutely never any aggravating or frustrating moments throughout the entire project... which is amazing with a project of this size. Admittedly, Grand Vista's bid was not the lowest but every penny was well worth the excellent quality and service I received.
