I have used them for other services as well, such as pool pump replacement and repair of my pool heater.

Although there price was not the lowest, and the standard material was very nice but not the most fashionable available, they did an excellent job and offered the best and un-conditional, lifetime warranty on their work. The job came out perfectly and they did it in record time with courteous and efficient personnel.   I would recommend to anyone.

Nassau did an excellent job in the design and build of our new pool/lanai.  They provided instruction on how to operate the new equipment, and followup has been excellent.

It went very well. Jeff Guite of Nassau Pools oversaw the project and kept us informed about timing and coordinated the events. We visited suppliers, picked out the materials. The pool was drained, cleaned with old tile work removed.  New waterline 6x6 Tundra Winter tiles with Pearl Pebblecrete pool surface was applied. Aspendos Ivory Tavertine pavers were installed on the lanai deck. A screen replacement company J. Bolton Inc. was referred to us by Nassau and they worked alongside the pool finishers to clean the Lanai frame, replace all hardware and install new screening ($2,300). Everything looks clean and new with a very classy French Pattern finish. Each group of workers were very professional and flexible in accommodating special requests (we had a wood pile that needed to be moved!). All of this took place in 14 days between the signing of the contract June 12th and the job completed June 26th to accommodate a group of Canadian visitors we had arriving that weekend! So the whole project cost $17,350 including new screening and one month free pool cleaning service. We are very pleased and would not hesitate to refer Jeff and the Nassau team.

They were good but they weren't in our price range.They were pretty quick on giving us the estimate.

Jeff at Nassau pools was professional and on top of the project at all times.  The guys who installed the pavers definitely knew what they were doing.  Will definitely recommend them to friends and family

We had our pool resurfaced and some tiles replaced/repaired. Jeff Guite is excellent to work with ... he gave us good advice, a firm estimate, and followed the progress of the repairs. Nassau's technical team was also very good, professional, fast, and responsive. Our pool finish is lovely. Nassau has a great warranty on their product and their service. I could not be happier!

Do get 2-3 estimates.  Don't necessarily go with the cheapest, go with who you think you can most trust.  Our experience was good overall and we would use them again.  They did what they said they'd do, were fairly close to schedule (there's always SOME holdup in construction of anything).  The only other thing I'd recommend is that if you choose solar heat (as we did) you also need another alternative if you want full use of your pool.  Solar is a huge energy saver, but during cooler months, you will definitely want another alternative.  That is the only thing that we felt we didn't get the best advice on.  However, we had them go ahead and wire for it during construction so that we could add later if we wanted to!  That was the best idea we had.  Just had to learn that on our own.

Estimate was up the roof, and worst of all the service was bad

Jeff came to our home, gave us an estimate and time line for completion in late November 2009. We chose Nassau Pools based on Jeff's knowledge of our existing pool and the completeness of his estimate. The cost was right in the middle of 4 estimates that we received for the job.
We had to have our pool completed by mid January as we had visitors scheduled to arrive. Jeff assured us that, even though we were dealing with the Christmas holidays, they would get the job done by our date.
The crew was exceptional in their knowledge, professionalism and dedication to finishing the job.
The whole job was completed one week before our desired date. It was everything and more than we expected. We had workers doing their job on Christmas Eve day and returning the day after Christmas!
It was a very enjoyable experience.

i have a small deck that i wanted refinished.  It was not big enough for Nassau, but the people at the desk had a subcontractor who they sadi would give a good job and price it right did the job, it looks great and the price was right.

The guy who came was fantastic and his name was Jeff. He was more knowledgeable than any of the 5 companies that I got the quote from. I should have gone with them but they were a little overpriced.

Nassau Pools Construction is very professional and very knowledgeable about dealing with the day to day issues that come up during construction. All in all I give them an A+ rating, they did great!

Excellent ...they were able to repair it rather than replacing it which would have cost 4x as much.

They took a little longer than was originally promised, but the overall experience was good. Some little things were irritating, but there will always be little things that hold everything up a bit. It went smoothly and anytime there was a problem, they were quick to remedy it in most cases.

This was the fourth estimate we got for our pool renovation. It was not the most expensive or the least expensive, but we were sold when Jeff Guite came to our home to give us the estimate. He knew our pool construction, built in 1973, and all the ins and outs of the perma poxy coating, which had begun to disintegrate and cause us problems. He gave us a fair and accurate estimate which was not exceeded when the work was done, and oversaw the work from start to finish. The various crews that worked on the pool arrived when they said they would and did the job we expected them to do. The work was finished per our schedule and far beyond our expectation. We now have a beautiful pool and paved deck. Worth every penny we spent. We did decide to replace our existing filter with a Jandy salt water converter for an additional $1500. We got two additional estimates for the unit and were told that they could not beat the price as Nassau installed the unit at cost because we did the total renovation with them. It has performed every bit as well as I anticipated.

They are extremely responsive. They do great work. One or two repairs that went very well. They repaired a leak. We are very pleased with the service.

You pay for what you get, they were good, there was a renovation of the pool, a new spa, an extension to the lanai, new pool cage, and a new paver deck. I think that the are one of the best around trustworthy good to work with and they stick to the project until your are completely satisfied.
