Do not hire (Sam) Greenwood painting to paint your kitchen cabinets. We hired him to paint our kitchen cabinets because his reviews were favorable and his price was competitive, but we were extremely disappointed. Our agreement was that he would clean the cabinets, then sand them and prime them before putting on two coats of paint. When he returned the doors, we noticed that on three of them the paint had chipped and we could see the original maple color of the cabinet doors which revealed he had neither sanded nor primed them. Sanding and priming are two essential steps in the painting of kitchen cabinets. Without these steps the paint will chip off easily. My wife confronted him regarding the priming, but he denied it and said they were primed. In my opinion he cannot be trusted to do what he agreed to. Now we have to be careful we do not chip the doors because the original maple color will show through. In addition, he did not clean the actual cabinets to remove the grease and dust build up. He had a young kid sand them (without the doors), but he did not do a good job and missed several areas of the cabinets. He only wanted to give the cabinets one coat of paint, but I insisted he honor his agreement. After he painted the cabinets, we found at least twenty areas that he did not paint or was painted so poorly he had to repaint those areas. Moreover, we had paint on the refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, our countertops, and on our floors. He did not use drop cloths to protect these areas. I will never hire him again, and I suggest you do not either.

Sam did a great job power washing and painting my lanai. He arrived when he said he would and was meticulous with his clean up afterwards. I will be calling him again for future painting jobs.

Sam Greenwood was on the job. He and his team were excellent! They painted my entire interior as well as my kitchen island. All the cut-ins along ceiling, walls and cabinets were neat and sharp. No runs. No misses. AND Sam s proposal was the lowest I received!!

Sam Greenwood is an independent painting company. Sam personally bid our job of painting the entire outside of our home. He was there to get the job started right and had the Sherwin Williams representative there to go over the job and insure the preparations were completely proper for the paint. He worked with his team every day until the job was done. They cleaned up each day and did not leave any trash. Pricing was fair and the quality of work was excellent. Sam had the S-W paint inspector check out the final job and made sure we got the 10 year warranty guarantee from Sherwin Williams. I am happy to have this job done and happy to recommend Sam Greenwood to others. He is a good guy.

Always showed up on time. Very attentive to details. Nice personality. I am very fussy when it comes to things being done right. Sam did a great job. Next job for Sam, our living room ceilings. We are very pleased with Greenwood Painting.

SAM AND HIS CREW DID A WONDERFUL JOB PAINTING OUR CONDO. THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL, EFFICIENT AND DID EVERYTHING WE REQUESTED. MY HUSBAND IS AN ENGINEER AND A PERFECTIONIST AND WE WERE BOTH VERY PLEASED WITH THE JOB. WE FELT THAT HIS PRICES WERE VERY FAIR. I WOULD RECOMMEND SAM WITHOUT RESERVATION. HE IS ANXIOUS TO PLEASE AND EVEN REMARKED AS HE LEFT THAT WE SHOULD CALL HIM, IF WE SAW ANY PROBLEM.
