Conditioned Air Co of Naples LLC

We built a new Divosta home and Conditioned Air was the contractor for the heating and AC. They were suppose to come on 3 different times to correct issues relating to the bedrooms not cooling off. They were to come on Sept. 10, Oct. 2 and again on Oct. 8. All three times were NO SHOWS. Suppose to be here today between 8 - 12 and received a call at 10:14 that the Contractor in Sarasota took off today and would have to reschedule! Can't tell me they have only 1 contractor in the area. That is BS!!!! I would never recommend this company based on the above! Was so upset that I didn't even attempt to reschedule. I am contacting the Builder again about this contractor. If it was up to me, I would go somewhere else!

Of course our a/c was backing up on a holiday weekend and continued to shut down. Conditioned Air was great. They came out as soon as possible and cleaned the line.

No complaints. Very professional, swift job. Minor disagreement regarding the cost, but the accounting department very quickly cleared things up with a very satisfactory outcome.

Excellent tech. Most professional in every aspect. Neat, courteous, cleaned up after and explained everthing in detail. Best company in Southwest Florida for Air Conditioning Service. I wish they had installed my system.

My air conditioning system froze up so the tech inspected the system, replaced the air handler and added some freon to the system. It has been working great since then. Very professional and answered all my questions. I will be using them for my future maintenance needs.

It did not cost me anything because I signed up with a one year contract. I will use them again. Both the office personnel and the servicemen were very professional. My contract will be up in September so I will sign up for another year which includes two visits. I would highly recommend them.

The technician was profession and courteous. He was very patient and explained thing well. Very pleased with the service.

very professional service; consulting every step. Rental property and renter was very pleased with courtesy and results. Price was far below other estimates but quality of system was equal or better. Company continues to maintain the unit under a service contract.

11/29/12 Was a preventative Maintenance call. It was determined that the coil had a leak, necessitating replacement of the unit. I purchased the new unit from another company for half the price of Conditioned Air's proposal. Their price was out of line with other proposals.

We requested bids from three different companies. We preferred local companies that had been in business for a long time. The representative (Sam) from Conditioned Air was courteous and the most helpful of the three. He wore shoe covers to protect our flooring and sat down with us at our dining room table to discuss his company's proposal. Since we are new to Florida, we did not understand the humidistat. Sam drew a sketch explaining the HVAC system, and we finally understood how the humidistat worked. However, we decided to go with another company whose competitive bid included 3 years of preventive maintenance.

The temp on the thermostat was higher than the setting and was getting worse (higher). I thought the freon level was down on the outside unit. I also noticed a higher than normal level of humidity in the house and there was water dripping from the drain line in the garage. Apparently the drain line was particaly clogged and water was backing up into the drain pan of the air exchange unit. This caused the humidity level to rise. Also, water backed-up in the pipe and caused the drain switch to turn the A.C. off until it drained out slowly, then, allowed the A.C. to come back on to cool. Anyhow, "Bob" found the problem and did an excellent job in clearing the drain line and cleaning the drain pan properly. Our freon levels were fine. I was impressed with his dedication to do an excellent job, plus, his attention to detail and overall competency. He was also very pleasant and personable and took his time to do everything correctly. Conditioned Air charges a $99.00 fee for a service call. Our bill would have come to about $239.00, but Bob offered us a one year Service Contract for $180.00 in order to help lower the bill. It was, basically, a no brainer and we are happy with having a one year service contract with this company for the price.

The guys at Conditioned Air Corporation of Naples are very polite, they check all the equipment, the proper pressures. I was very happy with them.

Chris VandeVoorde crawled into our attic through heavy blown in insulation and gave us a thorough assessment of changes need to our ductwork to make our home more comfortable. He also gave us detailed pricing on these changes along with several options for air handlers and condensers. He did not recommend an increase in size of our unit, which we ultimately did based on other recommendations. Chris was very good to deal with. I think the company is probably very capable, but chose to use someone else. This was the most costly estimate of 4 I received.

Our AC/Heat system had shut off and would not turn back on. We called Conditioned Air based on reviews here on Angie's List. The service man that came out was extremely polite, knowledgeable and thorough. He explained the problem, even going further to inspect related issues to the extent of his knowledge (electrical issue). He also advised us that if he performed the needed cleaning it would most likely result in damage to the coil/unit that would then require further repair and/or replacement of equipment. Since the unit is very old and dirty, but still functioning perfectly we decided to follow his advice. He absolutely had the opportunity to go forward without advising us which would have cost us much more at a time when we were not financially prepared. We now have the information, our AC/Heat system works well, and we are able to prepare for when we will undoubtedly need to replace our system. We will definitely call Conditioned Air when we do.

The company sends a reminder when its time for maintenance, I call and set up an appointment and they take it from there..

Everything went smoothly. They were fast and efficient but thorough.

The price is higher than others, but we got the best system we could afford and you get what you pay for. Looking forward to being comfortable for the next 10 years!

There were no issues and my unit was throughly checked for proper and efficient operation. The technician was very knowledgeable and courteous. The service was performed in a very professional manner. No debris or dirt was left behind, ait was left very clean.

They were very courteous and responsive. The negotiations were done long-distance (by phone from Wisconsin) They got our unit back up and running for our visitors.

Everyone was on time. The estimator and the installers. They actually replaced some of the connectors and tubing for the air handler that were not in the original bid. And did it for no extra charge. I was very pleased. I highly recommend Conditioned Air and will use them again if the need arises.

We have a contract every six months. It has been great. They were very cordial and very polite to my parents who are in their late nineties. They did a great job and I really like them. I thought their price was reasonable. The first time we called them because we had no idea what a central air conditioning did and they told us what to do and they didn’t charge us. The next two times they came in and asked me what was going on and would do a great explanation for me. I was very comfortable with them.

Great experience as always. Tech, Mr. Joseph, arrived on time. Performed service. Gave advice. I always request the same tech because he is very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. Also, it is better to ask for the same tech because he gets to know the equipment rather than have several different people.

See above - that's the story! If we back up just a bit. We did go out and issue 3 Requests For Proposals. One we received from our previous provider (Wiegold) was over $1,000 more than the Conditioned Air Proposal, and delivered much less. The Wiegold sales process was "How can we get you to sign on the bottom line today?" Very pushy. Conditioned Air's Proposal and Presentation were professional, and they changed them based on needs uncovered during our conversation. Very refreshing!
