We have used Castle Plumbing on several occasions. Bill was able to find the leak to the house within minutes of arriving, immediately removed the blue board and found 2 leaks from the main water pipe into the house. His work is meticulous. He also took the time to check the water flow in all the bathrooms and kitchen. The water from our washing machine was backing up into the laundry room and Bill had to install another pipe. We have not had any backups into our laundry room since. Just recently we used Bill again because the toilet in a bathroom appeared to be "bubbling". I called him on a Sunday and he was able to explain what I had to do to determine if it was a plumbing or sewer problem. We determined it was a plumbing problem that could wait until Monday to save us costs. He came and dug to remove the sewer cap to check the flow of water. He was able to clear the lines, then replaced the dirt. Bill is a very pleasant and trustworthy individual. His rates are very reasonable. He does not waste time and cleans up after his work. We referred him to a relative and they were also very pleased. We will continue to use Castle Plumbing for all of our plumbing needs.

Prompt, friendly, professional and very easy to understand when explaining situation. The plumber helped me to understand what needed to be done and suggested different ways the valve could be fixed, but left the decision up to me. Repairs were quick, and I would definitely use their service again.

I needed a toilet replaced immediately. I made a call to the office and Bill was contacted promptly and was at my door within an hour. The toilet was installed by Eddie the next day as promised. Everything was handled beautifully. Thanks guys.

Overall, I got a referral to another company that was able to give me a little education, so that was the benefit.

Came right on time. Extremely professional. Knew exactly what the problem was. Had the part with him. Very nice guy who knew what he was doing. Thank goodness I called these guys, this would have taken me three days. It took them less than an hour. Works great, he even cleaned up after himself. Use these guys without reservation.

Bill has done a very good job and is reasonably priced. He is prompt.

Ed came to the house from castle Plumbing and clearly defined what the problem was and what needed to be done to fix it. He also offered other options that would be less expensive but not as sure of a permanant fix. Best of all Ed showed me things that I could do myself to help keep the cost down. The bottom line is that he completed the job in a professional manner and it was fixed the way it should have been fixed. I was also charged a very reasonable rate for his services. I had used two other plumbers in the past to address the problem and both of their their fixes were short lived and the cost for their services was significant higher than what Castle Plumbing charged me. I recommend Castle Plumbing highly!

Honest, reputable, and priced right. The 2 other Angies List "A" rated Naples plumbers quoted me double the price. Bill Hanson charges by the hour,and it took only an hour and a half to finish the job.

Checked Angies list, got the name and called. Repairman came quickly and handled the matter ..Simple quick and easy. No charge for the service call as we will use him to replace the appliance some time the following week.

The whole experience was positive..........from the initial estimate to the finish. He was able to obtain products that I was unable to and it was just a very positive thing all the way around. Thanks Bill.

I found Castle Plumbing here on Angie's List. They seemed to have pretty good ratings, so I called on a Monday. I was pleasantly surprised to get an appointment for the next afternoon. She was unsure exactly when Bill (the plumber) would be done with his first afternoon job, so she offered to call me 20 minutes before Bill would arrive at my place. This was fine for me, as I only work about 15 minutes from my home. They called as promised, I arrived at my house in 15 minutes, and Bill arrived exactly as promised 5 minutes later. The first thing he did was take his shoes off before he came into the house, although I didn't ask him to. I was very pleased, since I had just cleaned the wood floors a couple days ago. He was very courteous, polite and professional. I had one seized water valve that went to the dishwasher that needed to be replaced (I had just ordered a new one that couldn't be installed because of the corroded valve). I also had another by the hot water heater that was also corroded and needed replacing. Finally, I mentioned a third valve, leading to the fridge, that leaked if I turned the water on or off. All three were fixed in probably less than 30 minutes. He also pointed out the main water shut off valve which should probably be replaced as well, to one of the more robust lever valves, but didn't need to be done right away. I'm a single woman, and sometimes it's hard to find a repair service that I can feel comfortable using, a company that doesn't seem like they're trying to take advantage of me, or trying to push me into buying more than what I need. I definitely felt comfortable with Bill and Castle Plumbing. I felt that he was being honest in what he did and what he recommended. Overall I was extremely pleased with the service I received, and will definitely use this plumbing service in the future!

I give the details of the Roman tub valve below. The sinks were in a new Corian counter top that we had just had installed as part of a bathroom remodel. Bill noted that the hole that had been drilled in the countertop was off center by about an inch. Fortunately for us the faucet came with an optional base place that could be used to cover holes left from another style of previous faucet. Bill was able to enlarge the hole to allow the faucet to be properly centered on the sink. The remainder of the sink hookup was uneventful. I had him install a demand based recirculating pump under the sink. He hooked up the plumbing but left the electrical hook up for me. I preferred it that way. My son and I had previously installed the water heater. My son does A/C work so he is experienced with soldering freon connections. Apparently the shut off valve I selected was incorrect, because it would shut the water completely off. Bill was able to replace the valve. The new one work perfectly. We had used Bill Hansen previously with a toilet install. I have filed a separate report on that. At that time we asked him to look at our leaking and damaged Roman tub valve from a botched installation by another plumber. The other plumber had left it leaking after the initial install. When he came back to repair the leak he broke off a piece way down inside. He said that the only way to repair their snafu was to pull the tub out, which would have broken the waterproof seal our tile guy had provided when he rebuild our shower and tub base. We were not happy with that. Furthermore, he was insisting that we buy another Roman tub faucet at significant expense. After Bill examined the tub he assured us that the repair could be made without pulling the tub and that only the broken part need be purchased. We had him order the part at $30 and we waited for the part to arrive before we had him back for the repair and the other work. Sure enough, he was able to make the repairs without removing the tub. While he was examining the previous installation he noticed that some of the parts had not be greased before installation. This was likely the cause of the original leak. We are very pleased with Bills work. He provided quality work and a very fair price. He was punctual, and he kept us informed as we awated the new parts. I highly recommend Bill Hansen of Castle Plumbing.

The installation was performed promptly and professionally. He charged exactly what we estimated, even though we had him look at some other things. I observed him applying the proper lubricants where needed. No evidence of cutting corners. He took his time and did a good job and was friendly and courteous. The $600 price included the toilet which he provided at 20% discount off of list. We had a terrible time with another plumber we hired to do the shower and Roman tub work. They had done a poor job including a leaking Roman tub faucet (which I discuss in detail in my second report on Castle Plumbing) and not returning calls for weeks.. When my wife went to the local plumbing supplier to select a toilet, she confided in the sales rep the problems we were having. She said if she were getting plumbing work done at her house she would call Bill Hansen of Castle Plumbing. We could not have been happier with the results. He even provided us guidance on how to repair our Roman tub without having to pull it out - something the other plumber had insisted on, even though it would have disturbed our beautiful new tile. I have filed a second report on the work Bill did on the Roman tub.
