never use these company's again

Initial phone message was returned promptly with house call set up for the following day. Bill, the owner arrived as promised right on time. He was very professional and very careful to follow COVID19 protocol during this crisis. He was able to diagnose the faulty defrost thermostat quickly and had the part available to replace it. Start to finish was just about one hour and two weeks later our refrigerator is still working beautifully. The fee for service fell right in line to what we expected. We would certainly call on him again for any future appliance repairs.

Bill arrived on time, examined my machine and advised me accurately whether a repair was worthwhile and had the parts necessary and made the repair and tested it all within about an hour. His assessment of the issue was honest and accurate. I couldn't be more satisfied!!

Excellent! Today is Christmas Eve and Bill at Action Appliance had Mike come and replace the part. Mike was very pleasant ...and efficient. Mike put the part in a short time and my washing machine is back in service.

Fantastic they were in and out in an hour

They did a temporary fix and recommended replacing washer if it quit adding water to the tub again. They felt that the cost to replace the main circuit board was too high to justify for a ten year old washer. Bought a new washer. Very professional, competent and honest.

Talked with Mr. Letchworth over the phone and gave a detailed description of the symptoms of the machines. He advised, over the phone, that the dryer's timing switch was bad and that the washer's transmission was going bad. He informed me that the repair for the washer was cost prohibitive and that it could be used till it ceased functioning and that a dryer repair would cost half as much as a new dryer. He left the decision up to us. We ultimately decided to replace the machines. I would not hesitate to call him again if the need arose.

Mike came right on time. It took only a short time for him to determine the problem was not as simple as he hoped. Rather it turned out the extent of the problem rendered the refrigerator easier and cheaper to replace than try to repair. Mike explained this to us and we decided to not repair. Mike was courteous, professional, quick with his work and easy to talk to as he explained what was going on. We paid only a service call charge. I will hire Action Appliance Service again. It went very well. The owner and his associate arrived early and were able to resolve the problem in one visit. they even rectified something I had done wrong when I tried to fix the problem. There was a charge for the service provided but they did not charge for travel. I would definitely use them again!
