I found Willi and Fantastic4Blinds on Angie's List. He answered the phone himself, scheduled an appointment for the same week to come see what we have. This morning he called me about 10 minutes before he was due to arrive to let me know he was stuck in boat show traffic - an annual event here that creates major traffic snarls - and asked if he could move my appointment back a bit in hopes the traffic would die down. This was no problem for me so we set a new appointment time. He arrived exactly on time and apologized for the minor adjustment in his arrival time - which wasn't his fault.
He immediately identified the brand of the blinds and had the parts necessary to repair them. While he was here I mentioned that the drapes on our Bedroom had never closed completely since they were installed 3 years ago, and our interior designer (who is likely out of business - horrible!) told us there was nothing she could do about it . He made a couple of minor adjustments to the drapes and in less than 5 minutes we have drapes that close!
He also adjusted the rod length and cord length on the blinds in the bathroom to fit the size of the window. I had never really noticed, but they were both much longer than the window - now they look great!
This is my new guy for drapes, upholstery and blinds. Absolutely no question now that I will renew my Angie's List subscription.
