Joe’s Electrical Service & Repair

Joe and Anthony promised to check out my fuse box for a possible upgrade to circuit breakers. This is a mobile home that I'm flipping, so time is important. Contacted them through Angie's List the 3rd week in August. They said they could come out within a week, but they didn't contact me to set anything up. I called after a week and then again on 9/9. Each time Anthony assured me they would come soon. It's now 5 weeks later and I finally hired another electrician. The problem might be that I was honest with these guys and told them I had gotten another estimate of $1500 which seemed high for the work. I also told them that this estimate didn't even break down costs into labor and parts. Anthony told me that it's standard to not show the cost of materials and to just give a total for the job. That seems shady, but whatever. Anyway, I guess the fact that I questioned the estimate from an electrician made Joe and Anthony not want to work with me. My main complaint is that I was ignored. If you don't want to work with me fine, but don't tell me you're coming and then ignore me. I last spoke with Anthony on 9/9 and heard nothing back until this morning (10/1) when I texted him that I would be writing reviews about their (lack of) service. He called me back twice within minutes but I chose not to speak with them. No more time for their BS. Yesterday I hired an electrical contractor who will do the job for between $700 and $900. Joe and Anthony cost me precious time because they didn't have the stones to just tell me that they didn't want my business. I'm sure they can run wires just fine, but are they direct and honest? Not in my experience.

Joe and helper arrived on the agreed time and replaced all the old smoke alarms with new ones. Work took about 1 hour and we are completely satisfied.

Was very happy with the work. Arrived when they said they would and made good suggestions when challenges arose. Have a very steep pitched ceiling, and standard fan installation would not work. Some carpentry was involved. The final result was beautiful. I would use them again.

Fine, I felt comfortable understanding The deficiency in my home.

Would highly recommend Joe's Electrical. I needed a ceiling fan installed where there wasn't a previous fixture. Joe and his assistant did an incredible job and finished the job pretty quick. I will definitely call him again for any electrical needs we may have.

Smoothly with no problems

I tried two other electricians before finding Joe. No one would even return my call for such a small job. Joe returned my call quickly and was able to work us in the very next day. He also pointed out some fixtures that are in need of replacement. Tenant was very happy to be able to put away the extension cords. Super nice guy! I definitely recommend him and will call him for future work at our home and rental properties.

On time. Very proficient. Clean and professional job. My only criticism is I wasn’t advised Joe is cash or check only. Thank goodness I had cash for the job.

Joes does it all. Our situation was a tedious one as we wanted to do a garbage disposal with a "sink top switch" as well as a hot water dispenser all at the sink, along with a multitude of other requests. Joe handled it all. He has done work at 2 of our properties now and I will never go with another electrician. He is professional, courteous, accommodating, punctual, and willing to tell you the why and the what behind the work that he is doing. He had to get up in the attic an extra time due to us not communicating things correctly the first time, but he didn't make us feel bad he just did whatever it took. Even his little buddy Anthony was a nice guy and offered a lot of help. Joes prices are fair and well worth it for the level of service you receive.

I was pleased with how the job went.  Mr. Saladino came out to my home on a couple of occasions to look at the job and to make sure that he understood what it was that I wanted.  Once the work began, it went quickly.  I understand that the crew ran into a hitch in that the trencher they had rented broke down in the midst of the trenching work but they had that repaired or had another trenching machine delivered to the site and continued the work.  Mr. Saladino ("Joe") is a true professional and was very easy to work with.

Incredibly professional, effective and honest. Took care of my electrical box issue and came on a moments notice. The price was fair and the servise excellent. I would recommend Joe to anyone and I will call him if I'm in need of any electrical service in the future. It's nice to see there are still honest business people out there in the service sector that aren't trying to rip you off.

We purchased a bathroom exhaust fan at Lowes and very quickly realized it was beyond our ability to install ourselves.  I contacted Joe based on reviews on Angie's List and we weren't disappointed.  Joe responded promptly and scheduled our installation within 2 days (it certainly was no emergency).  We was punctual and professional and had the fan installed in no time.  We would still have been working on it, were it left up to us!  hahaha  His workmanship was exceptional and we have no reservations in recommending him to others.

Joe was great!  I highly recommend!  Communication was great, service was great and price was great.  He has earned a customer for life.

During the "hurricane tax free week" we purchased a generator and I called Joe about the cost of hooking it up for me.  He came out very quickly and told me what parts I would need and helped me find them online so  I could get the best price.  He also gave me a quote at that time for the electrical work that would need to be done.  I ordered the parts and when everything arrived, I called him to let him know.  He was very prompt with his communication and came out at an agreed time and put in the panel and hooked up what needed to be hooked up.  He also showed me how to properly switch everything over if I ever need to use the generator.  The price was as originally quoted.
He was very pleasant and did a great job.  I would highly recommend him and will use him for any additional electrical issues I might encounter in the future.

I had been trying to get an electrician to my house for weeks.  Yesterday, I called Joe.  He answered the phone himself, got a brief description of the work, asked me what color outlets I wanted, and told me he would be at my house late the next morning.  At 9:05 a.m., he called and said he was on his way.  An hour or so later, all the work was completed.  He cleaned up his own mess and was friendly in the process.

In addition, he recommended someone to do some other work I need done.

I would highly recommend Joe's Electrical to anyone in Lake County, FL.

Determined that fan switch was bad.  Educated owner on how room switches were wired.

Quoted price was dead on.
Arrived on time exactly as planned.
Clean, well dressed and polite.
Met my wife as I was away from home and she said he was a nice guy. Believe me if he was not my wife would have let me know.
Light now works and my wife is thrilled! Which should make me a hero but I'm not sure it did :) because all I did was call him.
Will call him again for other electrical stuff I need done.
