Terrible! Called thirty minutes after appointment to confirm being late, very unprofessional! Showed up on time for reschedule, worked the full Two hours but overcharged for pipe marking! $300 job turned into a $700 job for just a can of spray paint?!!

The service arrived within anticipated schedule, but I was surprised to see two representatives, and suspect this added to the charge, which I found to be high for the on work time of less than 1 hour.

The additional guy is a helper that some plumbers have depending the work load of the day. We don't charge per hour, or even a trip charge. You can call us on Christmas day and or any time day or night we don't charge an hourly rate or a trip charge. We have a flat rate whether the job takes 30 minutes or 3 days. I hope this helps clarify your concern."

We were in a pinch with a backed up main drain. They came out late, very late one evening to clear the clog. No Premium charge, no elaborate price escalation, just charged me their same regular advertised price. I put them on speed dial.

Work appears to be satisfactory. Had to lend the tech an extention cord as his was not long enough. My situation was an emergency as I had water flowing from my bathroom into my bedroom. I was sorry I was not able to get other estimates as I found their services very expensive. Customer service was excellent. They were late getting here but I was given updates as to their arrival.

Good communicator -- Good Customer Service Polite and respectful Alex is willing to work at early and late hours. (-- Customers do need to be flexible and keep in mind that Alex handles urgent jobs for everybody and may not be able to make appointment times exactly - But, he always keeps in contact and tries to accommodate the customer's needs. ) He takes his time to explain things before he starts his work so that there are no surprises or false expectations. *By my needs and request - He came to my home very late for a free quote preliminary discussion. Alex and Grand Rooter is good at customer communication. Alex stays in touch by phone, the office person stays in touch by phone, and their automated appointment systems keeps in contact. I had some special requests about how I wanted the work to be handled and kept clean in my home. Grand Rooter acknowledged my concerns about cleanliness, dust and mold and accommodated my requests about this. Alex completed his investigations and found no active leaks and did not suggest any further unneeded repairs.
