Referred by my warranty service. My air conditioner stopped working on Saturday morning. I called my warranty company (American Home Shield) who contacted Total Air Care. I had hoped for a quicker response but I was not able to get service until Tuesday. Understanding that this is the busy season, and in the middle of a heat wave, I was not surprised or upset by the wait. The service tech was friendly, helpful, and professional. The repair was done quickly. The only fault is the lack of communication from Total Air Care. I understand that the arrival window (12:00 pm - 4:00 pm) is, at best, a guesstimate. At about 5:00 pm I called for status update. Since the office was closed, I left voice message. No response after an hour. I called again this time using their emergency number. I was put on hold and, after a long wait, the line was dropped. I called again - customer service said the tech will call right back. I did after about another hour. The tech finally arrived @ 7:30. My point is this. A 10 second, unsolicited status call when the original window was missed could have changed this rating from mediocre to high quality. Total Air Care needs to better managing customer expectations to take this company to the next level. Until they do they will just be one of the pack instead of a leader and if you're not the lead dog the scenery never changes.

Referred to my by my home warranty service. Service rep arrived while I was at work and spoke with my nanny. He identified the tripped breaker and reset it and left. I called the main office upon learning this, explaining I knew the circuit was tripped, and this was a frequent occurrence. They tried to assure me it was only due to nearby lightning tripping the circuit, something that hadn't occurred in the last 5 years. Since that home visit, the circuit has tripped at least 5 more times. They would not speak to me directly when I called, referring me back to my home warranty service provider. Less than helpful.

I had not used this company before, but had met Mike, the owner, when I requested a second opinion when I was unhappy with my previous repair company. I came home to a hot house after 5 in the afternoon and called TotalAirCare and even though I was not a regular client, they came within 30 minutes and made the repair. I thought I would have to wait days due the heat and the smoke this summer, so I was more than pleased. When I do have to have my unit replaced, they will be the ones I call. The also have excellent prices on new units as I had priced several last summer when I thought I needed to replace my unit.
