South Dade Animal Hospital

It was an emergency that I just went to because it's the closest one to my house and it's a long time ago and I've just been taking my pets there ever since. The vets there are very kind. You can tell they love animals. They're good. They're well balanced. They love animals but they're very attentive to the customers as well. I think they're kind of expensive. We've just been staying with them for other reasons.

I have been a customer since 2005. Every doc has been very good, and Dr S. Robbin has been wonderful. Techs are ok too, very friendly and compassionate. Office staff can be a little insensitive, which is very hard when your pet is sick and you are upset. I have had one bad experience but overall they are average if not a bit better than average. I will continue to go there even if it is not the most convenient or inexpensive place, though, as I have been happy with the care my pets have gotten there. Please note that dates and amounts are not actuals. I have been there many times and have spent between zero and hundreds of dollars, depending on the services.

Everything has gone very well. I have tried other veterinarians in the past yet I always come back to South Dade Animal Hospital. They are very responsive in calling you back when you have a pet emergency, and the vets there are cutting edge as far as their education is concerned--they keep up on the latest techniques. My dogs are like my children and are very important to me, and they treat the four legged patients and two legged clients very well.

I have been going to South Dade Animal Hospital for 4 years. They not only treat the pets right, but they also treat the people right. The staff is professional and caring. They cost a little more than other vets, but they are worth it.

My experiences with SDAH have always been extremely positive. They take great care of the animals and their human companions. Doctors Langdon and Duggan pursue conservative treatments, keeping discomfort and costs to a minimum, and they're always available by phone for consultation. They go the extra mile, keeping the hospital open past regular hours when needed, as was the case with a cat suffering from a serious chronic condition. They even came in on a Sunday morning (when the hospital is closed) to euthanize this cat when he had his final crisis, not wanting him or me to go through this with a vet we didn't know. They gave me two kittens, waiving the fees for spaying/neutering, vaccinations and examinations for the first year. When I found a stray (the ailing cat), they charged a reduced rate for the vaccinations (their kitten wellness package, although he was middle aged), and often didn't charge for the frequent visits his condition required. They're the best vets I've known.

My overall experience with this group of veterinarians has been excellent for a number of years. The staff and doctors are always pleasant, caring, sensitive, compassionate and professional, and most importantly competent. Dr. Cynthia Langdon is currently treating my cocker spaniel for a chronic cough. Last year, she helped me get my last dog through a year of chemotherapy for lymphoma, giving my Daisy one last wonderful year. Ultimately, Dr. Langdon advised me and assisted me in making the very difficult decision of euthanasia, in the most sensitive and compassionate manner. As a multiple pet-owner for most of my life and animal lover, I highly recommend this animal hospital for veterinary services, as well as boarding.

THEY WERE NOT THE BEST PLACE TO TAKE MY DOG TO. HE HAD AN ALLERGIC REACTION TO THE MEDICINE THEY GAVE HIM. IT TOOK A VERY LONG TIME TO GET EVERYTHING SET UP. THEIR PRICE WAS VERY HIGH CONSIDERING THE CIRCUMSTANCES.

I REALLY LIKE THIS COMPANY BECAUSE THE LOCATION IS VERY CLOSE TO MY HOME. THEY ALWAYS TAKE VERY GOOD CARE OF MY PUPPY. ANY TIME I NEED A PLACE FOR MY PET TO STAY, THIS IS THE COMPANY THAT I WILL USE.
