RENTERS PARADISE REALTY INC

We hired Renters Paradise in Miami Florida to handle all of our property management needs (for a rental property in Miami). We live in another city, so needed someone to handle everything, including rent collection, listing properties, handling evictions, and maintenance and repairs. Altogether, we had a horrible experience. Tenants were treated poorly and inhumanely, property was left in extremely poor conditions, managers were unresponsive (did not return calls or show up for scheduled meetings), office staff communicated with owners and tenants in a rude and aggressive manner, expense statements were unprofessional (e.g., hand-written) and falsified. We also suspect that false receipts were provided for repairs that were never made.
When we questioned the property manager about these issues on several occasions, he would get very angry, tell us off for insinuating that he was cheating us, and refuse to speak to us. We eventually replaced him with another local company and have not had any of these problems since. The other company is now discovering plumbing and electrical problems that were never addressed and have turned into MAJOR issues. These are problems that Renters Paradise managers charged us thousands of dollars after claiming that they repaired them.
