Moving APT

I have used this company three times now. They've taken great care of my stuff, including many antiques, books, and hefty card catalogs! I won't use any other company to move- the movers are friendly and always hustle, the price is very reasonable, and Gilbert always calls me back promptly.

I have moved several times and this is my second time using Moving APT. The first time was such an excellent experience that I thought I would use them again. And they did not disappoint. The move was not easy - living in the on the fifth floor in a pre-war building as its challenges. But they navigated those challenges brilliantly and the move was low stress. Very professional and careful. You may pay a little more but you get what you pay for. I will only use Moving APT in the future.

I was in a last minute moving situation and needed to move out the same day. I called up Moving APT and was able to schedule an appointment for the same day. Everything was confirmed via email and the movers called ahead of time to confirm. They came to the rescue and were very professional. They assessed what needed to be moved, asked how I would like to box and package my items and did the job without any complaints. They were very happy go lucky guys and worked well together. They were also upfront with the prices. Great experience!

They lie (in that they deliberately withhold relevant information), and manipulate. I needed my stuff immediately, and our original contract was for immediate delivery (picture posted) but at some point they just changed it. So now I am stuck in a completely empty house waiting until the last day legally allowed to deliver. They have this game they play where no person you can talk to can ever answer the question, but they will leave a message for the person who can answer it to call you back. They never call you back. My belongings were taken 5 weeks ago, still no word on when it will be delivered, and they do not care. They literally say that they are not the moving company, they just represent you to the moving company. But they do not represent you! They take a fee from you, and DO NOTHING. One example of my interaction with them, where Carmen is the customer service and Tarik is the operation manager: Me: I would like to know where my belongings are. Carmen: Only operations knows that, I do not know. Me: Can I speak to them? Carmen: I will put a message in for them to call you. ONE WEEK LATER - I CALL BACK (as they never called me) Carmen: Your delivery will be there the 14th or 15th. I CALL ON THE 15TH AFTER HEARING NOTHING Me: Can I please speak to operations now? They have never called me back. Never do. Tarik: I just spoke to the moving company, your delivery will be there the 17th or 18th. Me: You told me it would be the 14th or 15th. Tarik: No, I just told you the 17th or 18th. Me: Do you keep a record of calls, and can see what Carmen told me last week? Tarik: Yes, I see you were told the 14th or 15th. Me: And today is the 15th.... Tarik: Oh. Yes, someone should have called you, I apologize. Me: Can you please tell me what you are obligated to do? What I am paying you for? Tarik: I do not have to do that. Goodbye. So they take your money, and then do literally nothing for you. Will only talk to you if you call 4-6 times over days and days, and then hang up on your when you point out they did not do their job. DO. NOT. USE. It is literally pointless. Just find your own moving company. This place is a joke.

Stay away from them! They are a broker, not a moving company. No regard for the customer and very poor communication skills. Waste of time and money!

I think that I made a good choice by using APT.

They were on time, professional, and almost over the top to ensure that my items were fully protected with plastic wrap, blankets, and boxes. I had a crew of people, and each one of them wore a face covering or mask the entire time they were in my home. All of the furniture was taken apart and put back together perfectly, and no damage or disappointment at all. Without hesitation, I would hire this crew again!

Please do not use this company, ever!!!

Our belongings were picked up on 08/19 two weeks later we reached out to them and they said that the trucking company would let us know when they'd deliver everything. On 09/08 the trucking company reached out to us and said the truck was on the road and that it would be here 09/11 or 09/12. Waited all weekend. No updates. 09/13 called trucking co, left message, texted owner. After contacting the owner on 09/14 the owner told me that the truck was stolen on 09/11 from the trucking company's property and that all of our things were gone. I posted on their fb before the truck was stolen and someone messaged me on fb and told me that they lost their stuff through them too. They recovered the truck and all of our things were gone. The truck was damaged and the other family's stuff was vandalized. I asked Moving ADT when they'd give me my refund of my deposit. After 1-2 weeks and my reaching out several times. They finally told me they'd let me know in 1-2 biz days. It's been three weeks and I haven't heard anything from them and they will not respond to my emails. The trucking company dragged their feet in contacting their insurance company and providing the necessary documentation to initiate our claim, so we can't even begin to replace the items that were stolen from us. After further research there have been many occurrences with different companies across the nation, not just this company. Please beware and don't hire a broker. You don't need a broker.

I highly highly recommend Moving APT. They helped us with our move two weeks ago. They were on time and didn't waste a minute to the point that we asked them to slow down. They took care of everything so carefully. Very professional. Thank you so much Moving APT for the great experience...!!!

I used Moving APT for my move on March 16. They were extremely helpful and responsive ahead of moving day which made the process stress-free. On moving day, the movers came right on schedule and were able to pack/load everything within 3 hours. They arrived and were able to unload within 2 hours. The actual cost of the move ended up less than the estimate because we finished ahead of schedule. Big thanks to Moving APT and the team for the smooth move..!!!

After looking at numerous reviews and prices I contact Moving APT and they were great! As a moving service they did not waste my time or money and did their job to the fullest. They came promptly and were very efficient in helping us move from our apartment to our new place. They were quick and easy to communicate with. They were able to bring down all our boxes quickly and help dismantle and reassemble our dining table as well. With all the small knick knacks and side tables, the movers were quick to stack and saran wrap it all to make the move take less trips. I would highly recommend to anyone as they did a great job..!!!

Great asset to ID! Came on time, brought all supplies needed for a move. Professionally wrapped all furniture, they paid careful attention to not damaging anything. No extra yells, no extra questions. Professional service. Quick, Calm, Serious Movers. Indeed recommended, seriously, I wouldn't even call anyone else. After many moves, take it from me that this is the best you will get both service and price.

Moving APT connected me to the absolute worst company Ive ever encountered. I have been trying to get in touch with the representatives of the company to check on my items and have received no response after 2 weeks of trying. This, after they messed up my move, came a day early, didnt provide the services I paid for, and didnt take half the items listed on the inventory. Truly disgusted.

These guys are Amazing! One of our colleagues refereed us the Moving APT and my wife had a detailed talk with the agent. He was professional enough to share all the policies and the estimated charges beforehand. We called them two days ahead and they were on the right foot when they came over with the 4 highly trained professionals. They helped us in the packing and loading and helped us fix or repair some items when settling in the new place.

The Moving APT and the moving team did excellent work with our move. After shopping around for the best rates, we settled on this company. The move was made within 2 hours. I am impressed, and I would highly recommend them to everyone.

These guys were great from start to finish: from my initial call to drawing up the contract to the move itself, they were responsive, responsible, and reliable. All of the main points and questions that I had were answered quickly and clearly. The three guys moved our entire one-bedroom apartment from TN to FL in 2.5 hours. If there is another STAR I could increase Moving APT, I will be able to add it for their HONESTY!!

These guys were beasts!! I was moving from a house to an apartment, and they wrapped up my 2 bedrooms house and moved me into my apartments in 2 hours. Well worth the price!!!!!

I have been looking for a moving company for a few weeks, then one of our good friends recommended this moving company to us. She said she was very pleased with their services and the quality of the job they did and after my experience I? Also, have the same things to say. They are great.

Tried to contact them and the movers they sent but can get no answer from anyone.

I do not think APT does the actual moving, they are more of a coordinator. I could be wrong, but that is how it looks. The initial contact was good and helpful, but after that, I have had delayed responses to my calls. Using professional movers is not cheap, and the price kept changing.

From speaking with Moving APT, I knew I chose the right moving company from the beginning. Communication between us was great! I had to change the moving date at the last minute and they did it with no problem. Moving from the second floor with no elevator is a hard task but they made it happen! They wrapped all furniture with plastic wrap for protection and had a whole system of organization as we were moving our things to 2 different locations. They worked really hard for 4 hours straight with no hiccups or issues. I would recommend Moving APT to anyone. They were great!!!
