Miami shores came the same day I called them and diagnosed the problem. Since a new heater was needed they had to go get the right one and come back the next day. They got there on time the next day as promised, did the work fast, cleaned up and were very professional. They have always done a great job when I use them.

I think they are least experienced people I have had. I think it was engaging in fraudulent criminal behavior. I don't know anything about home appliance. My water meter was running high. They told me that I probably had a leak in the hose. When I checked my toilet it had 12 leaks. I looked at it and I was trying to figure out how to fix it. I tried to fix them myself and I didn't know what was wrong with the toilet. I called Miami Shores Plumbing. The guy came on Friday. They said they will come over at 4 p.m. They guy comes over at 6 p.m., which didn't really bother me that much. He came over and he said that my toilet needs a complete rebuild. When I asked how much it is going to cost, he told me that it will cost $220. He said I can't do it right now as it is quitting time. He said that he will come on Monday. He charged me $85 for visiting my home. I didn't pay anything. They had not mentioned anything to come to the house. We had a heated argument on the drive way. He called his boss and was talking on his cellphone for a couple of minutes. I was not willing to pay $85 under any circumstances. He was pressuring me to pay. I chose for extortion. He was trying to shake me down for the $85 for the house visit for doing nothing. I lost my temper. He finally said that we won't charge you this time. It turned out that I just needed $10 flapper from another company. It could have been like they had a rogue plumber guy or it could have been a company policy to fraud people on necessary repairs. I didn't feel it was worth it. I called the Miami Shores Chamber of Commerce to complain about them. They were on ads and they are still doing it. They are on a big ad on the Miami Shores Chamber of Commerce monthly newsletter. Even though this incident happened five years ago, I just cannot forget it. What bothers me is the Miami Shores is a major advertiser and financial supporter of the Miami Shores Chamber of Commerce. I will never use them again in the future.

It always goes well. When they are done you know you have a good job, you can see it and it works great.

They did a good job overall! The people were pleasant and got right to work! They also did a great job of cleaning up after themselves, which I really appreciated. Once I initially contacted them, they were out quickly and finished my project quickly as well! I would certainly consider them for future plumbing work, when necessary.

I had a leaking wall-mounted bathroom faucet. It had been installed a year ago by a different plumber. Miami Shores Plumbing was doing work on the main lines of our condo building so I asked them to take a look thinking it was just a washer or something simple. They sent someone within one hour. He took the handle off (10 minutes) and said he needed to go buy a part. He called from the plumbing supply store saying they didn't carry the part and that I would have to remove the tile from the wall and install new faucets. In the meantime, he would put the faucet handle back on and it would continue to leak until I bought the new faucets. I was given a bill for $285. Now I wouldn't mind paing it except........... The following day, after discussing with my husband, I called the plumber that installed the faucets originally. He came out within 2 hours and cleaned the filter of debris collected from the main line in the building and no more leak! And no charge! He explained that in older buildings, the main pipes collect a lot of debris. Zach from Coastal Plumbing of South Beach is honest and professional.

Fast response, current heater was 20 years old and finally quit. They were familiar with my house from previous owners, gave me a quote on the phone and in person, and had a new heater in within 2 hours of the initial call. Not cheap, but I'm tired of cheap that doesn't show up. Impressive

The workmen came on time, explained and showed me everything. They also snaked the tub. Installed fixtures temporarily, covered up the wall holes and cleaned up all mess. Then, they came back 1 month later, after the wall and tile was repaired, to reinstall the fixtures. All for the one initial price estimate. They were a little on the expensive side, but definitely worth it for the knowledge and lack of hassles.

They come when they say they are going to dome. They look for the cause of the problem and then fix it. I rate them high.

When my incoming water line broke, they came and had to redirect it from the street into my house. At first they put it in backwards, in that I had hot water coming from the cold and vice versa. Once they were made aware of this, they fixed it. They did make a bit of a mess when they had to cut through concrete. I think that they could have done a better job in cleaning it up. Overall satisfied.

Quick response to call. Friendly, professional plumber identified small leak in back of upstairs toilet. Fixed leak quickly (and without telling me I had to rip out walls to fix pipes in walls). While there I also asked if he could change out guts in three bathrooms. No problem. I will use them again and will be glad to recommend. You won't believe this. The next day THEY called me to say that they forgot to give me my 10% discount for mentioning Angie's List so they immediately put a check in the mail to me for the overage. WOW!!! I think that says it all!

I had a swamp in my yard so they came and replaced it so its fine now. They were very polite and they didn't give me a huge window of time, they told me they would be there between 8-12 and they showed right away. They came out right away and they did a good job.

I don't think he knew what he was doing, the helper did the work, not the master plumber. This time they sent a supervisor and a helper and they both knew what they were doing. Company came back out and fixed for free. Thanks!

He came over and said I needed my toilet tank rebuilt. So I asked him the price and he told me something about an initial quote. I said nobody told me anything about a charge or a fee, so he became angry and demanded $85.00 for the visit, when he didn't do anything. I felt like it was extortion. He got on the cell phone with his boss and the boss said don't charge him. After looking at it myself and analyzing the situation, I found out that it just needed a $4 flapper. I was very disappointed with the service.

The workers have always come when they are supposed to. They did the job that they were supposed to do. They really did a phenomenal job. Though the work took a little long and the price was a little above average, it was definitely worth it.

The plumber is very knowledgeable, shows up on time and pleasant. The troubleshooting is very timely as he gets straight to his work. The company returned telephone calls very promptly. Considering it was a minor leak, I felt the price was a tad high.

I was very satisfied with the work these men did for us. The piping for the Jacuzzi is perfect and the P-trap works well also. They allowed me to work along side of them to ensure everything went well and I appreciated this greatly.

It went very well. Manny provided an estimate in a timely fashion, and was ready to start work almost immediately. They were helpful in working with and around me as I renovated the space they were working in. They helped me discard nearly a ton (literally) of debris I generated in my remodeling work. They did very good looking and professional work. They got the permits and met the inspectors at the house at completion. The price seemed to be a lot, but it was less than the other estimate I got. Once the job started, I had a little surprise when he asked me if I had a roofer to close up the penetration in the roof he was going to make to vent the water heater. This is significant in Miami because it is probably easier to call Shaq to come over for lunch than to find a roofer to do a small job. I had the roofer patch up this penetration and a penetration I made for a kitchen vent, and this added $1200 to my cost.

I always call them. There is nothing like a plumber, that shows up! They even came back to fix a problem. Miami Shores Plumbing is the best. They show up on time, are quick, and terrific.

He came and had to go get his tools, found out he had the wrong tools so he went back again, then he said he had to go get the part, could not go to home depot which was close, to get the part but a specific store, came back, and I finally ended up paying $245 which is ridiculous for a ballcock. Could have cost me a lot less had he not spent so much time getting all the materials. I told them on the phone what the problem was so he should have come prepared.

We have a old house, they had to tear walls out to repair. They always call, to let me know they are coming. One of the best companies I have worked with. They are coming back to repair my toilets today.

I will definitely use their services again. They were very professional and knowledgeable and solved several plumbing problems I'd had for months and others could not fix. They are the best!
