"This is an unfortunate situation; Mr. Homes purchased this equipment on his own from an unknown online supplier, and installed on his own this equipment. This is a multiple indoor unit system, it is fairly complicated to install. His claim that we were not prepared is false, I believe in a redundant system, all our work vans are set up with 2 of everything. We are prepared with all the factory recommend tools, and our techs also have a business credit card for any emergency tools or materials that might be needed. If they need something we buy it. Mr. Homes requested we start up the unit. We did a 4 hour vacuum on the system and pressure test, with a visual inspection with soapy water on the connections. Everything tested 100% ready to start. System started up perfect and was left in cooling. The system was cooling for over a year, then he requested for me to fix it under warranty. This is the issue he is having. Unfortunately, that is neither our equipment nor installation; I cannot give you factory warranty on equipment that is not registered to me. The factory will NOT approve it. I contacted the factory and they stated to have the installation contractor do the claim. In this situation Mr. Homes took it upon himself to install the equipment on his own not registering the unit. We were contacted to pressure test the equipment and start it up, which was successfully completed with 30 Days of labor warranty. The unit ran successfully for a year and a half. Any other issues we are able to take care of, but we cannot do it under, "Warranty""
"WOW! Mrs. [Member Name Removed], To be clear, Mrs. [Member Name Removed]'s house has multiple Fujitsu Mini splits. WE DID NOT INSTALL ANY OF THE EQUIPMENT! She had another contractor install that equipment and after many attempts at repairs by her original installer, she called us. First time we spoke, she stated that her current contractor could not figure out the issues so that's why she is calling us! First call was in July 2017, her living room unit and bedroom has been leaking Freon for multiple years and her "other contractors" could never find the leak. We found the leaks; it was multiple cracked flares from a poor installation process. We corrected the error and both units have held pressure up unit till this day! $550 for materials/ time/ and labor. Second call was November 2017, her living room unit started leaking water. It was a dirty drain pan and clogged drain line. We charged her $150 for materials/ time / and labor to clean the system out. Till this day unit has not leaked water again, Issue corrected. At the same time she stated to check out the bedroom unit that was not cooling. The unit has an expansion valve that is not opening. On any equipment from Fujitsu we need approval from the factory to perform any work. The factory engineers stated to replace the main board and expansion valve solenoid. The charge was $618 in parts; it was a special order and nonrefundable. We took payment on the parts. The parts arrived, installed and same issue continued. Called the factory, the factory engineer stated to replace the temperature sensors and secondary board. It was $380 in parts, which I covered the cost to assume responsibility for the first diagnostics. Parts arrived, installed same issue. We called the factory spent 3 hours on the job site working on the system, when her husband Mr. [Member Name Removed] stated that he understands if we cannot figure out the problem to give him a refund and go on our way. At that moment, I dropped everything, and personally went to the job site to give it one more try and review all the equipment readings. I saw we have not made any progress I agreed to give them a refund on the $618 for the parts paid for, as they stated they wanted a refund, I removed the new parts. Mrs. [Member Name Removed] has this in writing in a text message. Her husband stated he wants a refund for all the work ever performed at his property. I would not agree to that as the other work has been corrected and not giving any further issues. He stated he wanted me off his property that he was going to sue me. I agreed to leave. He started to entice me to hit him and that his wife called the cops on me for being a rip off. I stated I am not going to fight an old man over an A/C unit repair! At this point due to the situation I stayed in the road off the property until the police arrived to have documentation of the situation. When the police arrived on scene I was in the road inside my car to prevent any contact with [Member Name Removed]. The police interviewed us both, The police then agreed with me, that I did nothing wrong. The officer again asked me if I was willing to offer a refund, I stated yes, but now how this situation has turned I will require Mr. [Member Name Removed] to sign a release. Mr. [Member Name Removed] did not agree. Mr. [Member Name Removed] stated I was stealing parts; all his old parts were left on the door steps, verified by the officers and with pictures. The officers let me leave the scene with no further incidents. A few hours later I waited for the situation to calm down. I sent a text message to Mrs. [Member Name Removed] again stating I will offer a full refund on the parts that didn't work with her signing a release. I have it in writing. She did not respond until now with this review. I understand the situation is frustrating, but this is a perfect example of a customer who installs equipment with one guy for a cheap price then blames the next guy for the unit breaking!"
I saw Kingdom's ad in the September issue of Angie's List Monthly and contacted them through Angie's List on a weekend. Robert responded on Sunday.
Robert was very professional & personable. I received the estimate on Tuesday & installation was scheduled for Thursday morning.
After I made the installation appointment and before installation, I contacted Robert to see if we could change the placement of the outside unit (further from the inside unit). Robert replied that was possible with an extension kit which I readily agreed to.
Thursday morning, Russ & Jay arrived and completed the installation in about four hours. They were both professional and very polite.
The installation went well & the unit is functioning perfectly.
I definitely would recommend them.
