"Mr [Member Name Removed] I do apologize that you feel as if we are trying to sell you a replacement unit. That is not the case. We offered you different recommendation because that is the type of company we are. We offered you the option of repairing the unit the correct way by HVAC standards and yes we are going to tell you the work cannot be guaranteed and that is due to the age of the unit and the conditions the coil was in. The coil is very brittle and extremely dirty. The unit looks like it has never been serviced or maintained. Cleaning the coil would not be a good idea because it could create a leak due to how brittle it was. That is not a chance we are going to take to warranty because the unit is in extremely dirty and brittle. I do apologize you feel that was but that is not our intent. we are just telling you exactly what is going on with the system"

Carlos was the technician arrived on time to give me a quote and service my A/C unit, he was polite and professional. The cost for the A/C cleaning was a little higher than I expected, however I would highly recommend this company and Carlos.

We were please with them, our unit was very old and their sales rep recommended a new unit. We saw a few other companies (others were all much cheaper - half of the price) but my fiancé wanted this particular unit _ TRAIN and so we hired them. They were clean and finished the job promptly within the promised time. The unit works very well and they were very nice to deal with. The only small complaint is that we expected with the new, much better unit our electric bills would go down...they haven't if anything they're a bit higher...but that is nothing to do with the installer. Would definitely use again.

Direct Air arrived on time to give me a quote; service was polite and professional.  Quoted price was significantly higher than a couple of smaller providers gave me, but since I was replacing the unit as a result of vandalism perpetrated by one such provider, I was willing to pay up for a more reputable firm.  Direct Air said they could do the work a few days after the quote.  They showed up on time, again polite and professional, and got the job done in about an hour more than anticipated.  The space for the air handler was very small and required expansion to fit the machine.  The company sent over a carpenter who spent a day and a half doing an excellent job of rebuilding the closet.  Highly recommended.

The technician (Pedro) showed up on time and found the problem quickly. Our unit need to have its coils cleaned. Pedro also found out that our outside units needed to have the pipes insulated. It took a couple of hours and the unit worked great afterwards.

Best AC service I have ever had.  Jose sent Carlos Estevez out to me on emergency basis to evaluate a problem I have had since Aug 11.  They we able to identify issues through conversation with Amana tech support.  Got AC going again but were unable to correct problems since not an Amana dealer.  They they gave me names and phone numbers of competitors who were Amana dealers so I could proceed.  Both Jose and Carlos had best attitudes and professional of any AC guys I have ever worked with.  Direct Air deserves more than an A.  They are the best I have ever encountered!!!!!

I was not happy with the company, but not the guy who did the work. There was a problem in the way he did the stuff. They tried to bill me extra and I refused to pay it. It was resolved in my favor. The work they did was in accordance with the ad. They just did maintenance. I would tell a friend to make sure they stick to the price that was advertised. Everything was fine except the money.

They called to let me know that they will arrive in 30 min and they did. They came to do the air duct and they show me that the coil was really dirty, so they cleaned.  You can tell that they know what they are doing. We are happy with the work they did.

They were messy and careless. The dust from the ducts was falling on my sofa. I asked them to lay something down but they told me it would not go everywhere. However, it pretty much did get everywhere. I did not see the value in this service. It did not fix the dust issues in my house.

I sent them an email requesting a quote and from my initial contact to the time the tech came out they were very professional and let me know the time frame for the estimate and called when the tech was actually on his way.  The technician was very knowledgeable and thorough; everything was explained to me in detail.  I was very impressed with their professionalism and knowledge.

It was a longer experience than I had expected.  The technician came by and said I needed to replace the condensing fan and the capacitor (my a/c is 14 years old).  The equipment he needed was at the factory, so they had to send someone else to retrieve it.  Although the work was not completed by the promised hour, the technician was VERY apologetic and was willing to offer a discount to offset the frustration.  Had it not been for his very sweet demeanor and willingness to listen to my ranting, I would definitely have written this company off and gone with another.  In the end, the work was good and I was happy with the price.  All companies are subject to human error, but this company truly stands out in the way they correct theirs.  I appreciate it.

I did not have the type of ducts suitable for this type of cleaning, so I had to cancel, but the company was very prompt and courteous and happily credited my payment to another service on Angie's List.  I would highly recommend them.  They always answer the phone and were happy to schedule anytime that was convenient for me.  Great customer service.
