Description of Work: ARS has been my regular company for preventative maintenance on my home's Trane central air conditioner. They have been coming twice a year for a prepaid fee of $169. This time the technician said that my air conditioner was leaking coolant and that considering the age of the unit, I should replace the air conditioner with a new one. However, they no longer carry Trane air conditioners and were unable to find a replacement which fits the configuration of my ductwork. So, I had them repair the leaks and replace the coolant. In the months ahead I will replace my unit with a new one from an authorized Trane dealer. I will no longer use ARS for any air conditioning services or repairs.

Description of Work: I bought my AC unit from ARS 9 years ago. At the time, I felt I received a competitive price and installation/service went very well. 9 years later, the motor failed. I had purchased a 10 year warranty on unit (which was a top of the line Trane model). I called ARS and not only did they come out the same day, they replaced the motor accepting the warranty without any hassle. Needless to say, that type of service is rare these days. They have my loyalty.
