After cleaning my dryer's vent and exhaust system, and tightening the exhaust vent to the dryer with a clamp, my dryer is working perfectly.  I was very happy with Appliance Tech Services and would be more than happy to hire them again.

Lazaro had to come out twice. The first time he had a general idea of what the issue might be but was unsure because he was unable to take out oven. Oven was installed in a wall and surrounded by brick. He provided me a quote of what he thought the issue might be and the cost. He ordered the parts and came out two days later. This time he brought another worker to help him take out the oven. With both of them they were now able to remove the oven easily. The costs came out less than originally quoted. He was able to fix the oven quickly. I would recommend him.

Great communication! Called before heading over and confirmed address arrived at set time. Found the issue and replaced the bad component.
I have used other repair companies and by far these guys are the best. I would recommend them. The tech found a bad heating element and replaced it. He also corrected a kinked exhaust line and cleaned out all the lint in the dryer.
The unit is running like new.

This folks are the "Dishwasher Detectives!"  Lazaro and his crew would not give up trying to solve the mystery of why my dishwasher would not fill adequately. It turned out to be a plumbing issue, but they were able to solve it.  They kept me informed all along the way, were right on time, polite and professional at all times. I give them my highest recommendation.  These folks clearly love what they do and do it well!

Lazaro was very nice.  He gave me an idea of what the repair would cost before he sent someone to come out and look.  The repairman he sent was very nice.  Performed the job correctly and in the end the cost was as stated.  Would definitely use again  Glad to have my washing machine working again.

I purchased a home that had a non-working dishwasher. Called for a service visit and was able to get someone the same day. They arrived on time and explained to me the whole process. I ultimately decided to replace rather than repair due to the cost.

They were on time and explained the problem.  The dial parts had to be ordered, so they were back in a few days when they had the needed parts..  The parts were installed and the machine works perfectly.  They were honest, courteous and completely professional. 

I fully recommend this company and will use them again when the need arises.

I love this company.  This was my first experience with Appliance Tech.  The job before mine that Lazaro and Juan were working on ran late and Lazaro called to let me know they would be late or to see if I wanted to reschedule.  I had a doctor's appt. so I rescheduled for the next morning (a Friday).  At 9 .a.m. Juan called to say he was on his way. Promptness -  here in Miami that is almost unheard of and that is not an exaggeration.   When Juan first arrived I told him the unit was almost 10 years old.  He pulled the dishwasher apart and the final determination was that the drain pump needed to be replaced and if I wanted it repaired he would have to order it but he would have it the next week, but then he did something I have never had a service repair person do. He said that although he could fix it and he would be happy to do so, I might want to do some research over the weekend to see if I could buy a new dishwasher.  He said I could probably replace my unit for around $300, which would be less than a $100 more than it would cost to fix it.  He even went into a couple of big box store websites and showed me several units in the $300 price range.  I was floored. He told me to just call him on Monday and let him know my decision.   This is what I call GREAT customer service (and I know GREAT customer service - I was in that field for over 20 years).  I took Juan's advice and ended up buying a new dishwasher but I didn't buy a service contract (too many bad experiences).  When I called Appliance Tech this morning, I spoke with Lazaro and let him know what a great company I think he has and that I will recommend him to anyone who asks if I know a good appliance service company.   I told Lazaro that I didn't buy the service contract on the dishwasher  and if something happened to the dishwasher or any of my appliances, I would call Appliance Tech, which will probably be soon because all but one of the appliances in my home are at least 10 years old. I highly recommend this company.

Came out to my same house. They were going to be a little later than they originally quoted but they called to give me a heads up. Turns out they arrived within the time frame and repaired the washer instead of taking the easier and more expensive way out.

I had several phone calls & text messages with Lazaro prior to his service call. We discussed whether or not it would make sense to replace an expensive heating element on my 12 yr. old KitchenAid dishwasher. My husband & I decided to take the gamble & have the $350 job done (price includes parts & labor). Lazaro was able to provide the part sooner than expected, so that he could complete the job for me before I left on vacation. His brother-in-law, Juan, came & did the repair job. He was also very polite, friendly & explained what he was doing as the repair progressed. I appreciated the fact that he was very careful with moving the dishwasher out from under the counter, so as not to damage the tile floor. Juan had my dishwasher working perfectly in just a little over an hour. He tested everything to ensure that the water was heating up & draining properly. Just under 30 days later, the dishwasher failed to work properly. We were not sure if it was related to the heating element repair or not. The soap was not dissolving & all the food was being "cemented" to the dishes. What a mess! I calked Lazaro & he & Juan came promptly to my home. After some testing, Lazaro determined that the heating element had been properly installed & was working perfectly. He then determined that the problem was that NO water was coming into the dishwasher. He disconnected the inlet dishwasher hose at both ends & cleaned it. My dishwasher is again working just fine. Thanks guys! At the end of the 2nd visit, I asked Lazaro how much did I owe him, because I was aware that the 2nd repair was unrelated to the 1st repair. He told me there was no charge. That was certainly a surprising answer! Thank you Lazaro & Juan. I will definitely call you again & refer you to friends & family. You are real pros!

Out of all the repairmen we called he was the only one that talking about possible fixes other than just replacing the ice maker. Lazaro explained each troubleshooting step he went through.We ended up replacing the ice maker anyway, but I feel he did try to repair it(at a lower price than quoted from other techs). I feel like I can tell when someone is trying to BS me. I think he was very honest and that he tried everything he could. He was very punctual. The 2 times he came, he showed up at the exact time he said he would. He had no problem honoring the Angie's list coupon. Overall, a positive experience.

Excellent job. Very rare for Miami. The service, communication, speed, and quality were all excellent. Everything went smoother than planned. Like I said, rare for Miami.
