Alligator Pool Services

We had another company come evaluate the pool after Alligator discontinued our service. The new pool company's opinion was the pool had been poorly maintained. The filter had not been cleaned in some time and the pool chemical balance was way off, suggesting Alligator had not been testing our pool regularly. It seems they were just coming and throwing tablets in the pool without testing the chemical balance and properly cleaning our filter. The guy that works for Alan is very passive aggressive and does not seem to be doing his job properly. I would look elsewhere as Alan does not listen to his customers and really only takes the word of his employee when there is a problem.

As always, Alan provided impeccable service.  He was punctual, professional and more importantly - honest.  He told me what I did and did not need.  Two thumbs up!

A beautiful job. That's what the inspector and my pool guy said. The job was  pleasantly, promptly, and professionally done.  It was a pleasure to have the men on my property and beautiful to watch them work. They were neat, quiet, polite and professional. Watching the men spread Diamond Bright to the music they were quietly playing onto the pool was like watching a ballet. Alan, the owner is so wonderful to work with. He came through with everything he said he would and more. They worked very hard to clean the existing tiles and the ladder. Alan answered my daily calls and questions with patience. Several months ago this company replaced the sand filter and motor. Again, a wonderful experience. Our pool now looks inviting. We got lucky on Angie's List!

Most amazing service!  He came when he said he would, replaced the equipment and left everything clean and neat.  We saw Alan once.  He was very pleasant gave us advice and a price we could live with.  When my pool guy came, he commented on what a beautiful job it was and then asked 'Did you use Alligator?"  I asked "Why would you ask that?"  He shrugged and said they do good work.  Bingo!  We got lucky!  I didn't research very much because we liked Alan and had a good feeling.  Alligator Pools will refinish our pool next.  He knows what he's doing.

I have nothing at all bad to say about any interaction, service request, pricing or timeliness of Alan at Alligator.  He was courteous, on time and reasonable in pricing.  He gave me a time he would be there which he met and completed the work in a short amount of time.  I was extremely happy with Alan and Alligator and will continue to use them for all of my pool needs going forward.

He was great! He came out when he was supposed to and he did the work that he was supposed to and I thought he was reasonable with price. He id a good job.

I called him on a Friday and on Monday the timer was replaced.   The services were prompt and professional.  The price was the the lowest of all quotes received.  Two thumbs up!

Our pool equipment broke down over the weekend.  We called Alligator Pool Services on Monday morning.  They came out the same day, took damaged parts with them and returned the next day to install new parts.  We were very happy with their service.

They did a really nice job with the mess that the other company created.  They were on time and very responsive.  He gave me a coupon on a pool cleaner that I needed to purchase.

The job was completed in one week. Everything went as it was supposed to. I didn't have to pay anything until the job was completed and I was satisfied. The pool looks great!

He did a very good job.  He did what he said he would do and even came back to be sure everything was right. 

Fixed leak in pool.

I'm very pleased with the contractors we've gotten from Angie's List. I'm actually surprised that it worked out as well as it did to us.

I called Alligator Pool Services. I needed to have my pool resurfaced and some tiles around the pool replaced.  I am very pleased with the work they done.  They showed up on time, very good quality of work. He gave me some good tips on to care for my pool.

Prepping home for sale and had issue with leaking pool.   Pool went completely green.  EXisting pool service no place to be found. Contracted Alligator and received call back from owner the same day. He came out the next day to inspect the pool.  Received estimate back within 24 hours for required repairs and refinishing work.
Even though he would not have a team available to do the full refinishing for a few weeks, the owner (Alan) came by and emptied and cleaned the pool so we could go ahead with preparations to get the house on the market.
Team arrived as scheduled.  Did a great job on skimmer replacement and tile/brick repairs.  Team was very professional and completed work as promised.

Allan was friendly professional and great to work with. He was punctual and price given was fantastic. I would definitely call him again.

Allen and his crew did a great job from start to finish.  With our first meeting, Allen was able to answer all my questions and provide the assurance that he could do the job on-time, and on-budget.  His terms were refreshing:  if I didn't like the job, then I shouldn't pay him.  I asked for a reference and Allen promptly complied with someone in the neighbor.  She had nothing but nice things to say about Allen and his work.  
Allen gave me a date he could do the work about a month out.  I asked if he was sure he could hit that date as I would be planning to be home the same week.  Allen said no problem.   
Ten days before the scheduled date, Allen arranged for a permit.  No badgering, no fuss, now worry.  The Friday before the job, a guy dropped off the all the materials for the job.
Over the three days of job site work, his crew arrived, did their work, cleaned up, all will the minimal amount of fuss.  I was around for two of the three days and was able to see the crew in action.  Any questions I had they answered with assurance.

After working with Allen, I would have no hesitation to recommend him to others.

The owner, Mr. Hayes, was very good! He was punctual, gave us all the information up front and the work was extremely satisfactory!

The owner Alan provided us an estimate within a day of when we first called.  He explained the project clearly to me and answered all my questions.  The workers were highly professional, pleasant, and also answered questions I had.  The work was done well and done according to the schedule we were given.   Alan also provided us the information we need to care for the pool.  The project was completed according to the estimate.  The whole experience was stress free and pleasant, and we are very happy with how the pool looks. 

Overall, it went exceedingly well.  I contacted Allan on a Monday and I explained my problem to him.  He quoted me a price over the phone and requested to come by the next day to do the repair.  I was unavilable the next day and we scheduled it for the day after.  He called me in the morning and advised that he would be at my house withing the hour.  He showed up promptly within an hour and I showed him the pool area.  He immediately went to work on finding the leak.  I left him alone for about a half hour and then went back outside.  He advised that he thinks that he found the leak and he advised that he went ahead and sealed six tiles since it appeared to be at the bottom of the tile line.  He then fixed the broken PVC pipe on the pool pump.  He further advised me that if the pool continued to leak, to let him know and that he would be back to fix it.  All told, the job took less than one hour. 
Overall, I fould Allen to be punctual, professional and all about getting the job done.  I would hightly recommend this company if you have pool repairs that need to be done.

PERFECT FROM FRONT TO FINISH.

He was not ever available to fix his mistakes and blamed everyone else.

Alan was very easy going and knowledgeble in pool repairs and service.  He started on the day he promised, work was completed in less than 5 days.They resurfaced our pool with Diamond brite.  Our pool is a 15x30 with a spa attached..they acid washed our tiles, removed and replace the tiles that go along the steps for an additional $150.  They cut off the path of the copper pipe from the heater to the pool to prevent copper from entering the pool and causing the same problem to occur.  They drained the pool slowly no mess or mud.  They refilled the pool, gave us instructions for the next few weeks.  We had our pool completed and ready for Memorial Weekend as promised.  He accomodated our wishes, no mess, no nonsense, fair price, very responsive.
