Do not use this company for any reason. Maria tells great stories aka lies. They are being investigated by state and county agencies. Read the latest Google reviews from 2024. They are being sued. Call the local police or Sheriff's. Civil theft is a crime. Contact an attorney specifically construction law.

I have hired Alco windows and doors to remodel my bathroom and install hurricane doors. I signed the contract 5/30/24 and all I have received is install dates, then reschedule. Now I’m being told by Maria that they don’t know when they will be able to complete the project. They took my deposit and now nothing. All 5 star ratings are old. Please check the BBB before signing any contract with this company! They are NOT a reputable company.

I signed a contract with ALCO Windows on April 6, 2023, for a construction project at my property in Key Biscayne, FL. From the outset, this experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. Despite paying ALCO Windows $33,012.15, they have failed to perform any work, including applying for the necessary permits or ordering materials as stipulated in our agreement. Upon learning that the work I contracted ALCO Windows to do was not permitted by my city, I immediately informed them. However, they attempted to proceed with unpermitted work, resulting in my condo association rescinding their permission for ALCO to operate on the property. This situation should have warranted an immediate halt and full refund, given that no actual work had commenced. In addition to their complete failure to adhere to legal and contractual obligations, the owner of ALCO Windows has treated me with unprofessionalism and disrespect. He has screamed at me multiple times over the phone, lied about the status and progress of the project, and strung me along with false promises. Now, ALCO Windows refuses to communicate with me directly, only responding through their attorney, who in turn, ignores my attempts to reach out. Despite their blatant disregard for the contract terms and the law, ALCO Windows refuses to refund any portion of my payment. Their actions have caused significant stress and financial strain, as I am now left with no completed work and a substantial loss of funds. I urge anyone considering using ALCO Windows and Doors to reconsider. Their business practices are deceitful and untrustworthy. They have demonstrated a total lack of integrity and professionalism, making them wholly unfit for any contracting work. Do not risk your time, money, or peace of mind with this company. ALCO Windows are crooks who will take your money and provide nothing in return. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!!

***BUYER BEWARE -THEFT!!!*** LUIS ALVAREZ, OWNER, STOLE $33,000 FROM ME. He induced me into a contract for 24 months, no interest, he was paid IN FULL by the lender. He WALKED AWAY WITH $33,000, REFUSES TO REPAY. HE CAN'T DO THE WORK -- WHAT HE PROPOSED HE CAN'T GET A PERMIT FOR. GIVE HIM AND ALCO YOUR MONEY AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!!!!!

DO NOT BUY FROM ALCO WINDOWS AND DOORS! An order that they said would take 8 weeks is still not even scheduled to be installed 5 months later! There is no reason why it should take 6 months or longer to order new windows and doors. They do not call or text with any updates. Their customer service is terrible. They might have had good service years ago, but now it is awful!

We are very happy we chose ALCO windows and door. Josh did a great explaining the different options while adhering to our budget. The communication was excellent throughout the process of manufacturing and permitting. The install was flawless Orlando did a great job explaining any questions we had during the install process. Orlando and his crew did an amazing job They were punctual and professional Made very little mess and cleaned up whatever mess was made Orlando was available for questions and reviewed the entire installation to make sure everything was completed with a high standard of work I would use ALCO in the future

This was the best experience I had with any contractors. The project manager Orlando and installer, Osvaldo Molina & his partner, were very professional, punctual, & excellent in every way. I highly recommend all of them. It was truly easiest home project ever.

Alco did an excellent job end to end. We used Mr. Glass as the supplier and are very happy with the product. The installers were good guys, on time, responsive, and thorough. The true test will be during hurricane season, but looks great so far.

Luis was awesome coming out to the house and measuring every opening to the very detail and explaining the window options. That same day I received a formal proposal which was super easy to pay the deposit online. Their system later sent an email that I was ready for installation and the team arrived as promised! Everything was installed to perfection and each one of the guys took their time to ensure everything was nice and neat. After everything was done the team carefully took all the trash and everything ended up cleaner than when they started! I recommend Alco Windows to everyone who needs impact windows!

Couldn't have asked for a better team to work with. After having a nightmare of a situation happen with another company, Luis and Adrian went above and beyond to make sure that we were taken care of. We had impact windows installed in our condo and everything from permitting to installation then to final inspection was all done correctly the first time. Dealing with the team was a breeze. They were very professional, honest, timely, and made sure all of our questions were answered. The installation went better than expected as well. The team made sure our furniture was covered and cleaned up when they were finished. We were so happy with the outcome that we decided to purchase impact doors through them as well! Definitely a 100% satisfied customer.

Fantastic service, attention to detail, and always sets the right expectations. Luis and his team are excellent communicators and are always on time. We had the windows in front of the house installed by another company in town and I came to realize that I overpaid for them. Luis took the time educate us on the types of windows we truly needed and his price was the best of all the quotes we received. Once they were installed the permit process was breeze and the windows installation passed with ease.

Adrian and Luis were exceptional. I researched so many companies before I picked one to replace my battered exterior french doors and large single hung window. I needed extra security in these plus they started just falling apart. Other companies tried to up sell me, quoted double yes double the price and then two others from another company just stared waiting for the boss. I mention what happened before ALCO got the job because I was in despair. When they came in, they presented themselves as professionals, were neat, organized, discussed options and gave a written estimate which they stuck to. In fact, they were the ONLY company that bothered to board up broken window panes for me...free. It was a wait for the materials but they prepared me for that and managed to even get them on time in hurricane season. Anytime I called or texted, they answered me quickly. They never got annoyed with the smallest question. Today was the big day. I figured it would take about 1 1/2 days with all the work to do..They finished in about 3-4 hours. The french doors look beautiful (measurements were exact) and the extra locking security on them was just as promised. The window was a breeze too. There wasn't a speck of dust in my room where the doors exited to the outside. Cosmetically, even the caulking was a clean line. No breaking of concrete or any problem. They offered to come back even if the caulk retracted! They threw the garbage out for me including the glass and it was cleaner when they left than before. The money. They got the deposit, recorded carefully, explained everything to me. When the bal. was paid, same thing. Absolutely not even the cost of a screw was added. I would say it was a fair price for the work but actually it was better than that as I had peace of mind with them here.I didnt want to tell them but actually they were the best estimate I got too. So, as they were leaving, I looked at my front windows (I have a mountain of windows back and front). I asked and yes, I am going to start by replacing the front ones first with more impact glass. Usually i m glad when workmen leave but they were kinda light hearted and Ill be looking forward to working with them again.Adrian and Luis are highly recommended for any window and door issues you have. Luis was very professional and courteous in giving a quote. Hurricane was pending and he obtained the necessary materials very quickly. It took him a very short time to complete the work and because he is in the window business,my brother-in-law hired him to install impact windows in his home. Luis is very honest and dependable. Best window and doors company in Miami for my money.
