Some of our floor men have been with us for over (20) years. We do not ever send sub-contractors to jobs. Payment is due in full upon completion,no need to pay a deposit and hope we return. The AA&J team fully restored the limestone floors in our condo in 2015 and came back to refinish a heavily traveled kitchen in 2019. Frederick really loves natural stone floors and his team brings out the best in them. Professional, dependable and satisfying results. I’m about to hire AA&J again.

This is my second time working with Frederick and his team, everything went as well as the first time. We had refinishing done to blue limestone floors. The type of stone is very fussy and we would be hesitant to trust anyone else to care for them. Frederick is professional and fair as well as patient and understanding with great attention to detail. Henry is a hard worker and very trustworthy. Hope to continue to do business with AA&J for many years to come.

AA&J has been caring for my floors for almost 2-decades! The entire team is trustworthy, honest and operates with the highest integrity. Frederick is articulate with communicating the process, time and result expectations. It is a complicated process (messy and loud) that they preform seamlessly. Each room has to be emptied so they can evenly work on the floors so, they essentially move from room to room moving everything! From my experience, I personally can attest to the high level of standard for Frederick and his team. At first it seems pricy, however, you definitely get what you pay for here. My last service was due to a plumbing repair where many stone tiles had to be chipped up in kitchen. Once I located the appropriate replacement stone, my stone color was SO off due to normal wear (patina) that I was concerned. Once Frederick was finished you could not tell the new tiles from the old. This is very important as color consistency on floors is obvious! The company uses consciously sourced products they leave you with to maintain the floors going forward. They recommend annual maintenance but I can usually wait 2-3 years in between services. I highly recommend AAJ, I’ve had exceptional experience with the company.

AA&J and Frederick are one of the best service providers I have ever worked with. Frederick is a consummate professional. To the estimate appointment he arrived on time and answered every question as he walked me through what the job entailed. The price was very fair and when I added something the next day, he honored the original price. Once the job began, Frederick and his crew kept to their schedule and I trusted them enough to leave the house open for them. But of course, the most important part of hiring someone is the quality of the work. Well this is where AA&J shine (like my floors). Frederick kept me up to date with the crew's progress throughout the job and the the work did not stop until my wife and I were happy. As Frederick said to me, “it’s our job to make sure you are happy with the floors”. Well, we are more than happy and thankful that AA&J restored our 60 year old terrazzo floors and made them so beautiful.

I am physician and my home is in Coral Gables. I called this business to get a quote on polishing a travertine floor. Mr. Frederick Zeller called me back and came to the house a business day later. He looked around the floor and gave me an estimate of about $3 a square foot. He left a quote. I was considering hiring him and I called him back and asked him if there was a sample work agreement that would describe what he would do with the floors, and the parties responsibilities. Any warranties, etc. I wanted to review the documents that I would be signing. He appeared irritated by my question and simply responded "NO", said Bye, And he hang up the phone. I called back to see if there was a misunderstanding but he did not pick up. I texted him and he did not answer. I found him to be unprofessional.

Frederick Zeller, the company owner, personally discussed the scope of the job, set a starting time for his workers, and then personally oversaw the work several times each day.This was a seven day project and and each day's details were carefully spelled out such that the end result was an amazing restoration of Saturnia stone floors in a large expanse of our home. The workers were polite, diligent, neat, and cleaned up their work each day. The cost was reasonable. I certainly would highly recommend them.

The owner was very helpful and even thought I might be able to do it on my own but when he saw that it was an area that was bigger than he thought he gave me a price and I agreed. They came out and were very friendly and informative and at the end the stain was removed and it looks beautiful. Very professional and courteous!

AA&J did an excellent job!!! My 1950 Cuban tile floor shines!!!! So far, everyone who has seen it has noticed it & been impressed by it. The room itself looks 100% better. Frederick explained how to care for the floor in the future, and the whole team were punctual and professional. It was well worth the money I spent on it.

AA&J was one of 4 Angie’s List companies I️ contacted. AA&J was the only company to respond to my message. Although they didn’t do the type of work I needed done, they went out of their way to call me and make suggestions on how I could remove the stains. Long story short, I followed their suggestions and was able to remove the stains myself. Kudos to AA&J for going the extra mile in customer service.

Wonderfully. Fredrick and his crew arrived precisely when they said they would and got right to work. I was updated during the day as to their progress, which is a welcome rarity in these times. At first, when I entered my foyer, I thought that they replaced the entire floor, it was so clean! Respectful, professional, honest and hardworking is an understatement for this gang. I will recommend to anyone and everyone who has a floor in need of cleaning. AA&J is peerless in their field.

I was highly impressed with Mr. Frederick honesty and service. He came to my house, looked at the patio area and told me not only that I didn't need that type of work to be done, but also explained it to me what I need to do and how to do it myself in great detail.... I cant thank him enough for being so honest and helpful. Now I will not only save a lot of money but also will have a beautiful clean patio. Today Mr. Frederick for sure will earn no only my business in the future, but also my client's business, I am realtor, and would not hesitate in referring someone like him to any person who might need his services. All I can say is "Wow, Wow, Wow"! Fred, the owner, came to the apartment took the time to inspect the floor and was transparent about my options. Two men arrived a few days later to get started and they were amazing. Very knowledgeable about the actual stone and how to best clean and preserve it. These guys spent three days cleaning and polishing the stone as if they were doing it for their mother. I mean, they were literally on there hands and knees and triple checked that every inch was perfect. In the end they left my floors looking like entirely new floors, extremely polished and bright. Fred called later to give me instructions on how best to maintain and preserve the floors. The two workers were incredible, on time, courteous and, and very, very hard working. I was extremely happy I decided to hire this company and not one of those cheap floor cleaning companies you see in the weekly flyer. It was definitely worth the price.

We recently had a a & j repair, clean and restore our home's original terrazzo floors. Frederick and his crew did and absolutely amazing job! This is the third time we used a a & j and would definitely use them again. VERY clean, professional, and courteous ! They were great!!

When we met, Frederick looked at the floor, proposed a plan of action and provided me a quote. Although I had never dealt with him before, upon meeting Frederick, I could tell that he was serious about his craft and hired him on the spot. Frederick and his crew (Alvaro and Enrique) showed up on time each day and worked on the floor of my house with the necessary patience and care. The result was nothing short of spectacular and I am an extremely satisfied customer. These guys take pride in their craft and it shows in their work product. I will continue to use their services in the future.
